I loved how the haters hated Lovelyz singing this song because of their cute image. But Lovelyz ended up doing a concept later on similar to this performance 🙂

Lovelyz have a innocent concept since debut and Knetz always tell them to change it because Knetz don't like it anymore. but when they performed this, Knetz compared it to the original ver. and said that the song is not for them. so yeah fuck Knetz. the fans love this performance because it gave new image of Lovelyz.
Because they had cover a song but make it their own. Here, not only did they choose a song out of their league, but they didn't put an effort into making it their own, so the comparison with the original made this look way too weak.

Honestly, this song is too heavy for Lovelyz. BEG's Sixth Sense requires angsty, brave, fierce, bold and edgy approach. Their voices contradicts to what we should hear on that song. They have light and sweet voices that doesn't fit to what the song wants. Specifically, the "Pop~,Pop~" in the chorus which considered as the peak of the song requires a rounded belting but compared to what they are singing, it sounds girly. The second peak of the song which is the climax, the first one who belt did a decent job but the following one (which I'm waiting and I was like "please, whoever do the whistle note, you'll save the song) belted also that part which is okay, let it pass. They should've chose a song that fits to their voices and ranges which is the safest weapon they have.
the official audio ver had a powerful ver of that pop pop, the problem with this live was the audio mixing, coz you can hear some of the parts clearly, but i think they should've given the pop parts to jin and baby soul bcoz they have a more powerful voice than dujeong and kei, no hate to them, but it's true, baby soul and jin are i think belters, and it would fit them more

Looking back, this was actually an incredible performance.... They deserved more hype.
i mean yeah on its own it was good but against the other contestants there's a reason why this was overshadowed.
Watch BEG's performance and you will understand why Koreans loathe this cover. They turned a powerful anthem into a sexy winkfest.
