You echoed some similar thoughts that came across my mind lately. A few of my grails are also YYPH coats and in reality I know those wouldn't see much wear. After purging and slowly rebuilding my wardrobe again I'm definitely more conscious of wanting to maintain a closet full of things that I'd actually wear more often. Also had an inner conflict of whether I wanted to go for a full Yohji collection, but realized that that isn't me.
I do want to discuss in another video but yeah full yohji just doesn’t work on specific day to day work environments I’m on like shoots and things. I guess you could do sublines but variety makes it feel more “you” if that makes sense !
Same on my side because i look at new clothes on internet way less than before. I am more on my way to analyse with my app what i dont wear to sell it. I still have pieces i almost never wear that i am not ready to let go because they bring me too much joy to see them and touch them. But my goal is no more stuff until 2025.
@@Jacargon everything Rick/visvim on lessoneseven 😭😭😭. Trying to “shop” my closet though and it’s helping a lot. I’m breaking out unworn pieces or wacky pieces I bought impulsively but was too afraid to wear (jumbo Tatlin :P)
I tried the no but and well.. I also moved to Tasmania this year and I ended up buying a few knits for layering so fail... But that ok I'm still very intentional with what I add to my wardrobe

Yeah sometimes you just love some things a LOT even though they don’t get a lot of use. You can make it to 2025!
You inspired me to go no buy this year. Dying out here
Haha. What’s been tempting you? 4 months in so far is pretty solid !

That’s great you’re being intentional with what you’re purchasing. Hope the knits are serving you well

I lasted almost 2 months of no buy 🫨 but moved to a low buy cuz no buy is cute but it feels kinda self-sadistic sometimes lol
Hahahaha. Two months is still solid! I think ultimately if it’s changed your habits then it’s a win!
@@Jacargon it def has! I shop for clothes wayyy less and feel way more intentional/strict about what I actually buy 👏🏼
