      I remember after 9/11 people were asking how God could allow such an evil and traumatic event to happen and hearing that God was retracing His grace all the way back then due to the horrible sins committed in this country. The churches were full for weeks after and the lines to confession were long, that event was a giant wake up call to return to Christ but people are incredibly stupid and unfortunately it didn’t last.

      As Father Ripperger, so aware of evil in all its forms, has said before, where sin abounds God's grace superabounds.
      He also said that at this time of supreme evil, God is sending the most powerful graces in all of the 2,000 years of Christian history. It's up to us to stop fearing, complaining and catastrophizing and grow in holiness. Jesus reigns!!

      Me too, though I find it takes a little shrewdness to use Rippergers wisdom and theology to the world, it can be a little bold and might offend some lukewarm people, I guess love and mercy is paramount.

Thank you God for sending us this son of yours to help us shine a flashlight into the dark alleys and come out in a better place than when we walked into them.

    How can we be assured of God's will over our will? Especially if we are kind to a point of enabling and don't know the difference? And how is it that some people are born into lives of hell, have to endure it and still be accountable for doing their best?

    And this right here is what has driven so many away from the Church. Women serve God. They render service to their families out of love for the Christ in them. Their husbands do not act as interlocutors of God's Will. In fact, often, it is through their husbands that evil threatens them and their children. One line from Paul in a specific context does not undo all the works of Christ in regard to women. I pray for all these priests that have caused so much pain because of their misogyny to come to respect the women to whom they preach.

    • @nehopsa
      @nehopsa 24 дні тому

      "Their husbands do not act as interlocutors of God's Will."
      That is exactly what is wrong with women today: through feminism or just inclination they are their own goddesses. This society is thoroughly evil. It is all but impossible to have "successful relationship" except by miraculous grace. Everywhere there is deadly combination of a woman with an apple. I mean iphone. Very deadly.
      Yes, of course it is terrible when man fails abysmally in "being interlocutors of God's will". And yes, todays world mass produces such men. Still if you listened carefully you noticed it was said the punishment for such an insubordinate man, derelict of his duties, is much greater than for a woman who is insubordinate to her man. But that does not concern those women today at all that they should in any way shape of form be "subordinate". NOBODY ever told them so. Who would even dare. Down with stinking patriarchy. Down with authority.
      It is not about one line in Paul. It is the whole Zeitgeist. The coming and next to unavoidable punishment is because of this as this shots through everything.

    • @nehopsa
      @nehopsa 24 дні тому

      Apart from general response, which is extremely contrary to "today's sentiments" I have also a personal one: Once I had a moment, let's call it a dream, in which I imagined a particular woman of interest as being "subordinate". That moment was beyond all possible beauty and appeal of that woman, it was atractive beyond measure. (At that time I also found, in the diary of st. Faustina, exactly this moment described, it was very interesting and validated what was otherwise "mere imagination.")
      It never happened, of course, in my reality.

    This is not the definition of malice. I would argue that it's the definition of weakness. Malice is more severe than that. Malice is outright ill will to another usually in a way that will cause pain in some way. I've been on the receiving end of malice. Yeah weak and stupid. Communism is based on atheism. For them, and tho it harm none... Our good starts with 1. Love God. 2. Love others. Our society to an extent focuses on 2 and we all feel good about it, but non Christians ignore #1, and use it against us (a la Judas). My favorite quote of Fr. Ripperger's is ...there is no sin you would not commit if not for the grace of God. Having seen what demons can do to me (try to make me like them), I can attest to the truth of this. Grace and mercy from God are our only hope. Hmm sometimes, rendering to someone what's due to them might push us toward malice if we can't keep in mind that we have been forgiven when we were due some serious hurt. And the one who forgave us asks us to forgive others. Reminds me of 3rd sorrowful mystery--after they had beaten and crowned him with suffering, they mocked him and slapped him in front of a crowd. And he forgave them. I can't even imagine being that great. It takes more time for me, and it helps if the person is actually sorry.

      Malice is the vice that originates in the absence of good will. Will moves other appetites like concupiciple appetite and irascible apetite. Virtues govering those apettites are teperance and fortitude. Soo malice makes you weak ( lacking fortitude). And probabli lustful ( lack temperance)
