This legit happened to me I recently went to vrindavan and there were lots of people who were asking us to pay extra to get Darshan of banke bihari ji , even pictures and videos weren't allowed inside the temple .
God is for everyone than why to pay extra .

SISter i think there is reason for this i know you are a real bhakt but some peoples are not(some muslims) let think there are such types of temples like vrindavan who has much crowd if they allow to touch god then in this crowd it can cause scratches , dirty hands to god . Thats the reason i think they take money so that koi bhi ara gara nuksaan na pahuchaya but i agree to lakshay that influencers take pictures in temple and crying that,s bad . we also click pictures but don,t post it on whatsapp,insta etc.

Many temples in Vrindavan have prohibited phones like Janmsthan etc and in Iskcon temple there is fine for photography
Correction VIP darshan should also be available for old and disabled people other than that everyone should be in one line

Temples are the only place under which everyone is equal and SHOULD BE TREATED EQUAL! As lakshay said, bhagvan paisa wale ka bhi utna hi h aur gareeb ka bhi...but unfortunately discrimination reached such holy places aswell. I've seen many internet "sanatani's" that don't even know the history of the holy place they posted about..disappointing.

Exactly ,,recently me nd my family visited banke bihari temple vrindavan there is team of 15-20 peoples who take rs100-200 per person for 2-3 minutes of vip darshan and for making videos they charges more than 1000 rs and my father was standing there and one family came and gave 500-1000 rs to them( pujaris) to get vip entry my father didn't see they have given Money to enter there so my father try to enter as my father was unaware of bribe , they start beating my father ,, and there was so much crowd that my father was unable to move ,,they continue beating my father and blame you didn't pay money then how can you enter,, and my father was saying i don't know about which amount to give to whom i am unaware ....but they didnt listen a word then we came out ......
And it was so disrespectful i can't imagine so much disrespect for my father., one day i will teach them lesson..

Waha par hum enter hue hall me bhagwan k lie prashad lekar or Hume laga line lagi he aage bhagwan k darshan hoge prashad chadhayege then bahar. Bhagwan k samne ek line lagi thi uske andar ja rhe the toh mandir k kuch pandit aa gaye or kehne lage per person apko 500 dena hoga agar andar Jana he prashad wgera chadhana he wrna yahi se prashad kisi ko de do bhakt ko Jo andar ja rha he wo Chadha dega! It was so heartbreaking. Aastha ka mazak bana dia he! Humne wahi zameen par sb rkha or bina darshan kie wapas aa gaye! Waha jagah jagah announcement ho rhi thi mic me ki mandir me darshan k koi charges nhi he! Jab bahar police walo ko bataye toh wo humse hi ladne Lage jo lady guard thi meri mamma ko dhakka dene lgi my mamma has arthritis she can't walk properly. It was so heartbreaking and itni gandi image bani us mandir ki bhagwan ke bhakt hone k baad bhi hmne mann me soch lie ki ghar me shri krishna ke darshan krlege bakey bihari kbhi nhi jaege! Ye he unka aastha par paiso ka lalach. 🙌

Some temples doesn't allow gadgets especially in South Side. I see mostly North side people are going mad over views. Lack of discipline here. Thank you for taking stand. ☀👑

Also animal sacrifice should be stopped. I went to kamakhya last month. 4+ goats and 1 baffalo was handcuffs then killed, as bali in one hour. I was in the waiting line. It kept happening, it literally gave me a trauma. They were doing it all in open. It was so sad. Animals kept screaming until their heads were chopped off. This is pure cruelty. I'm a Hindu but this one thing needs attention. When will we start talking about that? Some things are just cruel and should not exist at all!
