- We don't normally do family holiday parks but we had our grandson Tom with us who has just celebrated his 15th birthday so it made sense and we had a fabulous time.
The park has plenty to offer and their touring site is excellent. Join us on site, at the fairground and on a stroll around the town.
We paid £108 for three nights on a full service pitch - excellent value.

I used to take my sons there quite a lot.It hasnt changed much.That was about 20 yrs ago

@@HelenandDave Hunstanton does look tempting and with three small children it ticks a lot of boxes. Does Searle have a decent (by which I mean heated), swimming pool. Love the look of the location, the coast and all that, can’t beat fish and chips by the seaside!

Actually for a large holiday park it looks good, plenty to do in Hunstanton, we only spent a few hours there when we were at Sandringham C&MC site a couple of years ago, great drone footage 👍
Hi Andrew & Karen, like you, we had only visited when staying at other local sites but it was nice to leave the car on the pitch and walk into town. (Cheaper to stay there for 3 nights than some of the club sites too). Cheers, Dave & Helen.

We love it there at seales we have booked again for August. This will be the fourth year in a row we have Been there. We have been on the same pitch as you aswell , great hole in the Bush to get to the bins lol. Great video once again 👍

Just saw you commenting on the water going into your van when plugged straight in from the hosepipe we do it on our lisso and it works very well no issues

Enjoyed that Guys. We took our Caravan to Searle's about 22 years ago with our Children and had torrential rain for 4 days, the awning nearly floated away, 😁. Had some lovely sunny days there as well in recent years. Thank you for sharing....Paul and Suzanne.

Interesting vlog. Suffolk and Norfolk are our local stomping grounds. Never visited Sunny Hunny and maybe a consideration out of season for us bit like you guys did. We did Clippesby half term for 4 nights which was great and becoming a family favourite. These vlogs are excellent as it provides valuable info / footage of new areas to consider.

We were in Hunstanton a number of years ago. Had a lovely chat to a couple who were sitting outside their beach hut at Heacham. We were even given a tour. And we know where the laundromat is! Love the music you choose. Interesting vlog, thank you 🦘🦘

Looks like a nice site. We're looking at a few sites in Norfolk, possibly Easter time. Although as you said, normally more tranquil sites than family ones. Top drone footage BTW, I'm never brave enough to launch mine :-)
Cheers Graham, plenty of tranquil sites in Norfolk, coast or country. I don’t use the drone enough really. I used to be very nervous with it but found that actually, you have total control, it does what you ask and will fly itself back to you if you lose site or battery gets low. I can't think why you would leave California ,with it's lovely cliffs & wonderful beach to go to Hunstanton . I know both quite well & I know what I prefer
Have you ever been to California in February? (which is when this video was filmed). It’s shut! Nothing for our 14 year old grandson to do in California. We enjoyed our stay in Hunstanton and we like California too but we live there😊 Thanks for watching Jack 👍

Mind you , my opinion on this subject is worth diddley squat as I have lived in the subtropics since 1970 , but I did holiday in Scratby from 1945 to 1956 as well as regular trips to Sunny Hunny ( only 30 K's from my home )
@@jackstanton8212 a bit of a trek for you now then! We love California in fact we love Norfolk but our grandson wanted to be by the fairground at Hunstanton, I suspect it all may have changed (a little) since you were last there. Stay tuned! 👍

@@jackstanton8212 yes he loves it, but it doesn’t open until Easter, the video you’re commenting on was shot in February, California, Scratby, Caister & Great Yarmouth is like a ghost town then!

Hi Karl, yeah I would. Easy walking distance to town. Supermarket across the road. Decent pubs and restaurants and our site fees were cheaper than some of the club sites. 👍

@@HelenandDave did you manage to hop on the land train that drives around hunstanton also if you ever come back to hunstanton check out the boat rides that takes you out to bird island and seal island glad you like it up here in sunny hunny

Ooh not our cup of tea, like pontins in the 70’s
Well TBH it’s not the sort of place we would visit to regularly but with our 15 year old grandson with us for a few days in February we didn’t want to take him to a CL in the sticks. With a family background of owning and running holiday parks across the UK I can assure you that it’s leagues above any Pontins site that ever existed ! They were more like prison camps in the 70’s! Great to have a choice and Searles is ideal for campers with families. Thanks for watching, Cheers, Helen & Dave
I loved the aldeburgh place you went and the other one in Norfolk that had the guitar player in the central square and the big on site shop, defo going to those, but will avoid that coast road now in our big wide motorhome! Pinewood looked nice too! As we don’t like to move our big motorhome it’s great to see how far the town is too and whether it’s walking distance. Thanks for your videos, they always show us the bits outside the campsite which is really useful, esp lovely pretty pubs and places to eat out
