You can basically decorate a journal blindfolded and it would look great, because those boxes are so full of wonderful things!!!

Sitting knitting and watching with interest. Having things immediately to hand makes a lot of sense. I would probably work better and quicker if I did this. I will be back when I’ve seen the video through x

I think clear storage would work for me. I have opaque boxes, labelled, but it isn’t the best way of working. I should have ready made tags etc. as that can slow up completing journals. It doesn’t matter what method of storage, I am most untidy when crafting. It is always interesting seeing how others work, so thanks for that Dee. Whilst organising is a huge job, I quite enjoy it. Tfs x

Hi Mary. Clear storage is nice I must admit. I know a lot of people like to make things as they go... but I can't do that and you know me.. I like to just almost put in the
opposite of what I am working on... I love the random. I find it more interesting. I get messy too.. but this will prevent me from dragging stuff out on my desk. I just walk over to the bins on the other counter and pull. I may have to add stuff to decorate it more, but I have those notebooks... all ephemera in one place, so my counter should stay
fairly clear. As for the drawers... I love them... make me remember to use everything. I love to see how people organize too.. its fun to see. Thanks for watching Mary and commenting.. will chat with you later.

This is a lovely system. I also need to see my stuff, because if I don't I forget about it. I liked your use of the stamp books. I happen to have a couple so will get them out and start filling them up. Thanks so much for this very helpful show and tell.

Dee, OMG, you certainly COULD open your own crafty shop! These ideas were amazing my friend! I hope you know how fortunate you are to have such a big table to work on as well as store alllll of these handy books! I enjoyed seeing all of your mail postal stamps. Like many of yours I like keeping some of them on part of the envelope they came with. Its a great start for many layers to work over them.
I also have to agree with you, as many times these type of usually smallish organizing projects are so much nicer, then just starting a brand new reused book, or something else too large. I love the planning of having some of these cards, tags, photos, whatever already started, so you don't have to stop and make 3 or 4 to finish your current project. Dee, These ideas are really amazing!. My last question is...when the heck can I come over to play at your house and check out ALL that you have! You are really making headway with the organizing of your play space. Keep on truckin' sistah! KUDOS!!

Excellent storage ideas! Thank you for sharing. I use binders for my stickers but I like the stamp books

Hi Dianamarie. Thank you. I hope some of it helped. Ahh so you do use the binders too... thats great. There are videos out there on how to make your own stamp book/pockets. But its easier if I buy and they all look so much nicer for me. I just don't want to take the time. Thanks again... Dee

Hi there Dee. I could go back thru this vid, but feeling a bit lazy today. Can you tell me again, just where you found some of those big notebooks with the plastic pocket inserts in them? Especially the one you put all your mailing stamps in?
I'm just trying to make some sense of my hurricane blown tiny studio, and every time I turn around, I'm at a stand still....it is so
discombobulated in here! However, I'm putting the finishing touches on my last small book project and once that is done and put to bed, I can really focus on organizing a bit better. Sigh.... It's like shoveling snow off the driveway, while there is a raging blizzard coming down! Thanks Dee, for all your great storage tips, and the name of where you got those storage note books!

Hey.... The 3 ring notebooks are from Amazon. The plastic inserts are separate and they are under banknotes.... and stamp inserts for collectors. The mail stamps.. those are just for stamp collectors. They are nice books.. they run about 15 bucks each. Your right.. focus.. for me that was the key. Can't wait to see the small book. If you need anything else, just let me know.
