Renault 5 restoration project - Engine rebuild series - Part 1 - Disassembly timelapse

This is the first part of a series of videos rebuilding the engine of the Renault 5. This engine, was originally installed in a Spanish Renault 5 TS. The Spanish version engine was unique, as it was a 1.289 cm3 engine, a similar engine to the LS version that was not commercialized in Spain.
This engine was rebuild some years ago and it was running for just 2000km aprox. Now to complete the restoration project, this engine will be updated with a 1.397cc piston and sleeve engine kit and also sealed to the block with a rubber gasket instead of the original made out of paper...
