The creator of Touhou is a huge JoJo fan. He also makes a reference to the "How many breads have you eaten" line in the dialog before the final boss, who's a vampire.
Basically, Touhou EoSD's story is about a red fog covering Gensokyo (The place Touhou games take place in) that Reimu/Marisa decide to investigate which led them to the Scarlet Devil Mansion. Reimu Hakurei, the shrine maiden, is the main character of the entire series. She is quite lazy and greedy but handles her Hakurei Shrine Maiden duties seriously. While being a Youkai Exterminator, the Youkai she defeats in every game end up becoming her friends. Marisa Kirisame, the witch, is the other main character of the entire series. She is the Ordinary Magician who works hard to be good in magic but is not as serious that she didn't end up becoming a Magician Youkai. She can end her words with "-ze" and tend to "borrow" things, mainly some books in the SDM's library. The one making dog sounds is Rumia, a Youkai who can manipulate darkness. However, they realized she was pretty stupid so they ignored her. Cirno is an Ice Fairy who is pretty stupid while thinking she is the strongest. Hong Meiling, the Gate Keeper of the SDM. In canon, she's a competent gatekeeper who can rival Sakuya even when she tends to sleep a lot. Though fanon tends to make her a butt of jokes, typically Sakuya, and, due to her name's character being inconsistent, calls her China instead. Patchouli Knowledge is a Magician who takes care of the mansion's library. While a powerful mage, she suffers from asthma, anemia, and Vitamin A deficiency. Sakuya Izayoi is the head maid of the SDM and can manipulate time which means she can also manipulate space. She is extremely competent as a mage and knows how to handle knives. Implied to be the only human in the SDM. Remilia Scarlet is the head of the SDM, a Vampire who lived for 500 years and can manipulate fate. EoSD's Final Boss. Flandre Scarlet is Remilia's little sister, 5 years younger, who can destroy anything. She lived in SDM's basement. EoSD's Extra Boss.
"Cirno is an Ice Fairy who is pretty stupid while thinking she is the strongest." Cirno _is_ in fact the strongest... of all the fairies, it's just that the bar for being "the strongest fairy" is so pitifully low that it's kinda like being the world's strongest newborn.
@@Llapa Max0r is a youtuber that reviews games, but his reviews focus more on entertaining and memes than actually reviewing. I think by saying that you would never survive his videos he meant that his style of editing is really chaotic and he talks really fast
Yeaaaahhhh, this video is funny, but you really have to know the game and characters at least a bit to get most of the jokes; I wouldn't recommend it to someone who didn't know Touhou at all. Glad you still found it amusing, though!
