MarieMarie, real name Maria Scheiblhuber (* 1984 in Bobingen), is a German singer, music producer, composer, songwriter and instrumentalist (harp and piano) with a broad interest in different types of music, including pop music, electronic music, hip hop, alternative rock, jazz, folk music and classical music. As MarieMarie, she coined the term "folktronic pop" which is rooted in the folk tradition and oriented towards electropop. This is what her debut album Dream Machine (2014) stood for.
