Man, you rode all the way up to the river. We parked at the river, rode through the river and left a truck at the end. You know, after the river, the climb is epic! Feels like attempting to breath in water, the air is thin and grade is steep and double track in long! But it was all worth it.
Awesome looking trail and sucks about your camera. Also, is there something going on with your freehub? It sounds like the drive ring has a couple damaged teeth.
The noise is heat in the hub. I've observed in the summer the grease in the star ratchets becoming noisier versus sub freezing temps when it is nearly silent. I also did convince a bike shop a few years a go to convert the hub to the star ratchets from the pawls, I have a buddy that work for DT Swiss and he was surprised by how they did it and that the hub was totally not to spec lol.
I'm going to be stopping in Crested Butte to ride on my way back from Denver in a couple of weeks. I've never been, so perfect timing with these vids! With that said, if you had a day or two, and have never been, would you ride the park or hit the trails?
Chump MTB that’s a tough question. I would lean Park for day one and if you give yourself some time, Dr. Park maybe the highest priority pedal trail. In a couple weeks all the flowers on 401 and 403 will be toast. Ride them for the views.
Hi outdoor gold, you have such a great channel!! But has happened to all your mtb reviews ?; Yeti SB 165 ,santa Cruz Heckler E- bike , Transition sentinel V2, Yeti SB 140 ,specialized Enduro to name but a few.Your reviews Were so good what's happened !!
Outdoor Gold Sweet!! Thanks. Just found your channel and love it. You keep it real. I will be down in Denver to pick up my new bike when it’s done being built. Can’t wait to ride it on some awesome Colorado singletrack .

Sweet looking singletrack in the aspens! Amazing.
This trail was SPECTACULAR!
This is one of THE best trails on earth! There is none quite like it that I have seen or ridden.
General Havok the lines are fast and they make sense!
Yikes, Brutal going up and brutal coming down. Good job you can ride, excellent video. 👍
Colin Dixon haha thanks Colin, that downhill was so good though
Great trail great video👌🏻👍🏻
Thanks Mono Rider !

hahaha, I could care less about the thin air after dropping the camera in the water! Riding uphill with rage!
Man, that looked so good! Sustained downhill for miles!
I loved this trail! Keep the magic alive!
This trail looks so sweet to ride
JAMES ROBERT MTB it’s worth it, I promise
You slayed it! Wow. Beautiful and wildly entertaining. I'm sorry about your camera.
Thanks Julie! Losing the camera was very sad, but I moved on after that SICK downhill!
@@OutdoorGold You're very welcome. That downhill was sick and so fun looking.
Nice trail and I hope to do it sometime. Seems a bit dangerous riding this trail by yourself. Glad it went smooth.
haha, I'm notorious for riding solo from time to time. Sometimes harder to put a crew together.
I was bonking just watching

Sweet ride.
I think it begs another visit someday
@@OutdoorGold cool.
that NST looked like it was WORTH it! - it also looks like one that we should shuttle instead XD
*is your camera toast?
IT WAS SO SICK! I haven't done the camera autopsy yet, its drying in my garage, but my hope aren't too high. It got totally soaked
@@OutdoorGold soak it in dry rice lol ?
Now that was an epic day of riding! Sorry about the camera. The angst of being a UA-camr is real.
DadMTB Heard misery loves company and Paul needed someone to share in his misery 😆

Were so good what's happened !!
Andrew Greenwood I know it’s tragic! I have been able to get on new bikes because of shortages and unavailability.
Hope we can see some of the above in reviews in the very near future ! Your reviews are some of the best !👍🌲🌲🚵🌲🌲🌲🚵
Good riding man, that trail looks amazing, a bucket list-er for sure! Just curious, which GoPro are you using?
Thanks for tuning in Tony. I was running go pro hero 4 black and a hero 7. The 4 was on the chest and the hero 7 was on the shoulder
Nice man, hope camera survived
Don't know how you comments slip past me, but that's not what they deserve! Thanks Thim
This trail looks epic!! Would it possible to self shuttle and start closer to the top?
Sam_Venture yes, a 2wd drive vehicle could get you to the creek crossing and a 4 wheel drive can get you to the Singletracks.

No better NST than Jedi mind trick on Dr Park DH
Marty M I’m taking notice! Dr. Park was sweet!
