Mahalo! I used to have my friends pick up hawaiian soft rock albums for me at the Ala Moana Mall. I live on the mainland. This "You Tube" channel brings back memories from the '70s. Kalapana, C&K, Mackey Feary, Country Comfort, Billy Kuai, Summer, etc. Thanks Aloha Got Soul..
Thanks for watching... five years later! Hungry Ear Records is now located in Honolulu. Jelly's (now called Idea's) is across the street. Happy digging!

Awesome video. I visited Oahu early 2013 and wanted to check out Hungry Ear while we were in Kailua, but it never happened. Can't wait to go digging in Hawaii in the future!
Can not wait to go back to Honolulu, Hawaii. I lived there for about 6 years from late 80s to mid 90s. There are records stores all around the island. One of the best during my time what near UH. Forget the name of the place and the road.
I haven't been back to Hawaii since they closed Tower Records at Ala Moana and Don Ho died. I should go back. Last time I was there I found some first release Fugs albums... .... but that was a lo-o-o-ong time ago. If Jelly's is the place across the road from Peral Ridge shopping centre, I've been there.
