I have a very similar shop with the same plasma table still haven't tried using the table or the new hypertherm xp45 someday I will figure it out! Great video thanks for sharing
So your not just a pretty face but an elevator mechanic also. Kudos to you. You like to keep your content mixed up and that is another reason to have subscribed
I'm thinking a limit switch at the top and bottom would finish this thing off nicely so it always stops at the same spots. Just wire them in series with your up and down buttons up at the winch.
Lou, that was pretty cool making that. Your very talented. Nice to see other projects on your channel besides the ferrari. Don't get me wrong, I do love that car. Looking forward to the next one.
@@LouTrottier I am thinking about making a garage. Attic lift using unistrut rails on the wall. I will have to build a wood base. Or bolt the tubing since I am not a welder.
@@LouTrottier I thank you very much Lou Trottier. If one that can take three people at a time can that be classified as a commercial one ? Sorry am asking a lot
excellent JOB! Doing a home version out of wood and unistrut soon like others have here on youtube. BTW, isnt that red bumper by your hook suppose to stop the hoist? Position it to max height, then install bumper so its against the hoop on the hoist (hoop=stop switch). Am I wrong here?

A few people have asked and unfortunately the exact product is no longer available.
@@LouTrottier the ones you used have 2” wide wheels, right?

Great freakin job brother. Let’s start making some.STL files so we can 3D print.
LOLthanks, not sure about a plastic elevator though!!

My dad need a lift and cant afford the name brand makes do you make custom builds for private people my dad is a vet and we live un northern utah ?
sorry, it was a one off.
Now, back to the Ferrari 😂
totally agree!
I like how you managed to get the word "girthy" into the video. You need to be very careful what you are referring to with a word like that...
I knew someone would comment, not surprised it was you pal.
This is cool man I have liked this more. How much is involved if on once to do own at home
a home unit could be made much easier as it wouldn't have to carry as much weight i suppose.
