Excellent sir. But a small doubt sir. In the sentence ' she runs fast' fast is an adverb. Then how can it be a complement sir. Complement must be a noun, pronoun or an adjective. Could you please clarify the doubt sir?
Yes, it is true that in most of the cases a complement can be a noun, pronoun or adjective. But "a complement can never be an adverb" this statement is not true. An adverb can also be a complement.
Follow the sentence . He is very happy . And your sentence . She runs fast . Happy and fast both are adjective . But these two use as subject complement .

No, a subject complement can be a noun, a pronoun or an adjective and an object complement can also be a noun, a pronoun or an adjective. Ex. - ● Tomy is a dog. Hello ,you teach it a very descent way . i believe you are right person to reply of my queries. example - Miss Gold lost her job. She, therefore, had no money. I confuse to understand such type pattern in complex/compound sentences .words or phrases put starting or last and separate by commas in complex and compound sentences.
@@amitgupta696 A compound/complex sentence has no any fix pattern, it varies according to the meaning of the sentence. However some of the patterns are given below. Compound sentence, IC+CC+IC (independent clause plus coordinating conjunction plus independent clause): “I went for a walk, and I was soothed by the gentle night air.” (Coordinating conjunctions are words that link one independent clause to another to form a compound sentence. These words can be recalled with the mnemonic FANBOYS and include for, and, nor, but, or, yet, and so.) Compound sentence, IC+S+IC (independent clause plus semicolon plus independent clause): “I went for a walk; I was soothed by the gentle night air.” Compound sentence, IC+AC+IC (independent clause plus adverbial conjunction plus independent clause): “I went for a walk; consequently, I was soothed by the gentle night air.” (Adverbial conjunctions are adverbs that serve, when following a semicolon, to link independent clauses. They include consequently, however, moreover, nevertheless, therefore, and thus.) Complex sentence, DM+C+IC (dependent marker plus clause plus independent clause): “Because I hoped to be soothed by the gentle night air, I went for a walk.” (Dependent markers are words that provide a relative context for a subordinate clause. They include after, although, as, “as if,” because, before, if, since, though, until, when, where, whether, and while.) Complex sentence, RP+C (relative pronoun plus clause): “Whatever doubts I had about taking a walk dissipated when I was soothed by the gentle night air.” (Relative pronouns are pronouns that relate a subordinate clause to the noun it modifies. They include who, whom, whose, whoever, whosoever, whomever, which, what, whatever, and sometimes that.) Compound-complex sentence, DC+IC+CC+IC(dependent clause plus independent clause plus coordinating conjunction plus independent clause): “As I headed out for a walk, my doubts about doing so dissipated, and I was soothed by the gentle night air.” There are, of course, many variations to these patterns; even a simple sentence, for instance, can begin with the object in the example converted to the subject of another simple sentence: “A walk was my next order of business.”

Aside i saw almost all videos but couldn't find perfect gerund and it's passive & differene between perfect infinitive and gerund. I also noticed there is no videos on you tube of this topic. Sir, your teaching is amendable to to be understood it well even by a new learner. But the way you've illustrated regarding direct & indirect object if there is only one object in a sentence that would be considered to be 'direct object' whether it denotes to a person or a thing. On the contrary, I've studied so far as regarding 'Object' if it denotes to a person, that is considered to be an indirect object meanwhile if it denotes to a thing that is considered to be a direct object. Moreover, if you get confused, you may check it into your grammatical book. Well, thanks for sharing your experience sir🙏
Dear viewer, where have you read so? It's a misconception of yours. I'll suggest you to read some authentic books like 'Better English by Norman Lewis', 'Practical English Usage by Michael Swan' etc. Your concept will become very clear after reading these standard level books.
Dear viewer, I think you have misinterpreted the book. In the Nesfield's 'Manual of English Grammar and Composition' book it is quoted that - "The thing named is called the *Direct* object ; the person or other animal named is called the *indirect* ." It is a generalised quotation because it is most probable, nowhere written in the book that the person or other animal named can't be direct object. Do you know, why I said you to study this particular topic from 'Better English' & , 'Practical English Usage'? Because elaboration of 'Direct & Indirect Object' is not given in the Nesfield's grammar book and in the books suggested by me, it is clearly mentioned that - "If there are two objects in a sentence, the thing named is Direct and the person or other animal named is Indirect. But if there is only one object in a sentence it will called Direct, because the action of the verb will directly impact that object only (because there is no other object)." Moreover, there is no existence of 'Indirect' without 'Direct'. Hope it helps.

It is called adverbial complement .
Follow the sentence . He is very happy . And your sentence . She runs fast .
Happy and fast both are adjective . But these two use as subject complement .
It's a verb complement that complete the sense of the verb

Hello ,you teach it a very descent way . i believe you are right person to reply of my queries. example - Miss Gold lost her job. She, therefore, had no money. I confuse to understand such type pattern in complex/compound sentences .words or phrases put starting or last and separate by commas in complex and compound sentences.
Can you respond please
Dear viewer, I will make a separate Video on this topic (Clause & The Complex Sentences) to make the concept clear.
@@EnglishHighway My doubt is on phrase and words keep separate by commas which may modify or qualify the next sentences. I want to know the pattern.
@@amitgupta696 A compound/complex sentence has no any fix pattern, it varies according to the meaning of the sentence. However some of the patterns are given below.
Compound sentence, IC+CC+IC (independent clause plus coordinating conjunction plus independent clause): “I went for a walk, and I was soothed by the gentle night air.”
(Coordinating conjunctions are words that link one independent clause to another to form a compound sentence. These words can be recalled with the mnemonic FANBOYS and include for, and, nor, but, or, yet, and so.)
Compound sentence, IC+S+IC (independent clause plus semicolon plus independent clause): “I went for a walk; I was soothed by the gentle night air.”
Compound sentence, IC+AC+IC (independent clause plus adverbial conjunction plus independent clause): “I went for a walk; consequently, I was soothed by the gentle night air.”
(Adverbial conjunctions are adverbs that serve, when following a semicolon, to link independent clauses. They include consequently, however, moreover, nevertheless, therefore, and thus.)
Complex sentence, DM+C+IC (dependent marker plus clause plus independent clause): “Because I hoped to be soothed by the gentle night air, I went for a walk.”
(Dependent markers are words that provide a relative context for a subordinate clause. They include after, although, as, “as if,” because, before, if, since, though, until, when, where, whether, and while.)
Complex sentence, RP+C (relative pronoun plus clause): “Whatever doubts I had about taking a walk dissipated when I was soothed by the gentle night air.”
(Relative pronouns are pronouns that relate a subordinate clause to the noun it modifies. They include who, whom, whose, whoever, whosoever, whomever, which, what, whatever, and sometimes that.)
Compound-complex sentence, DC+IC+CC+IC(dependent clause plus independent clause plus coordinating conjunction plus independent clause): “As I headed out for a walk, my doubts about doing so dissipated, and I was soothed by the gentle night air.”
There are, of course, many variations to these patterns; even a simple sentence, for instance, can begin with the object in the example converted to the subject of another simple sentence: “A walk was my next order of business.”
@@EnglishHighway i am so happy to get immediate response. I will read and ask help if need it.
Aside i saw almost all videos but couldn't find perfect gerund and it's passive & differene between perfect infinitive and gerund. I also noticed there is no videos on you tube of this topic. Can i request you to make videos on this topic as well.
I like it very much.Thanks a lot.
You're most welcome dear learner!

Sir, I've read it from the book of Neisfield English grammar that is the most superior grammar of all as you know.
Dear viewer, I think you have misinterpreted the book. In the Nesfield's 'Manual of English Grammar and Composition' book it is quoted that -
"The thing named is called the *Direct* object ; the person or other animal named is called the *indirect* ."
It is a generalised quotation because it is most probable, nowhere written in the book that the person or other animal named can't be direct object.
Do you know, why I said you to study this particular topic from 'Better English' & , 'Practical English Usage'? Because elaboration of 'Direct & Indirect Object' is not given in the Nesfield's grammar book and in the books suggested by me, it is clearly mentioned that -
"If there are two objects in a sentence, the thing named is Direct and the person or other animal named is Indirect.
But if there is only one object in a sentence it will called Direct, because the action of the verb will directly impact that object only (because there is no other object)."
Moreover, there is no existence of 'Indirect' without 'Direct'.
Hope it helps.
Very very very easy explanation
Thanks
Very Good Sir, you taught very well.
