@theklamfyr every time you take individual examples of a behavior who are members of a certain demographic, and then ascribe that demographic as being in a causal relationship with said behavior, you've committed a fallacy.
Over two years have passed since the video was published and I'm seeing lots of really nice and good comment. And I fairly like friendly athmosphere among people. As a Russian military I can only say that I am truly proud of my brothers in arms and I wish peace to families of all those who serve their countries, and courage to all their sons and grandsons. Greetings from Russia to everybody!
True, respectful warriors, despite nationality, tend to have more in common with each other than many think. Politics is one thing, people are another thing. I don't see any way people of Europe, Russia or the US would benefit from a global conflict. Quite the contrary, there would be only losers. The real enemy for us all is somewhere else. Greetings from Finland!
I was deployed to Kosovo in 1999, we got sent out to the Russian checkpoint and stayed out there for a couple weeks. They’re a totally different breed. On the first day I asked one of them if their AKs shot good, dude replied “da, very good”” and ripped off a few rounds above everyone’s heads at the checkpoint. People were diving for cover because no one knew what was going on... it was pretty insane. All of our rounds were counted, we’d have been article 15ed for doing that. They don’t give a shit at all. Lots of fun to hang out with though.
Chong Li I think you are referring to that picture from Georgia. Where an Asian Russian holding a PKM at the check-point turned around an entire Georgian military convoy with journalists. I don’t remember what actually happened, but I think they asked to pass 3 times and he said “idi nahui aka go fuck your selves” 3 times and they turned around.
Beer? That's straight up vodka bro. Beer is an insult. True story. I was in Russia, my fiancee kept warning me of her brother-in-law, that he was a heavy drinker and not to keep up with him. We met him and his wife at a hotel. They drove on from Kursk. I bought a bottle of vodka to break the ice. He brought a bottle of vodka as well. In the room we finished 2 bottles. Before we left to eat dinner we were wrestling on the floor. We went to a nice restaurant and kept drinking, Russian beer and more vodka. After we ate he ordered a full carafe of Jack Daniels. We finished that, and left. He literally passed out on the street. I had to pick him up and carry him to their car. The next day he was so happy with me, like I was instant family. He took us shopping. Bought us a really expensive stainless flask wrapped in stamped leather, and the matching shot glasses. He also bought us a very expensive BBQ utensil kit in a really nice steel suitcase. He even gave me his personal jacket off his back. After that day, when he talks to my fiancee, his sister in law he calls me his brother and tells me he loves me. Russians are on a different level. If you treat one with dignity, honesty, and kindness you'll have a brother from another mother.
Its interesting how many in comments didn't understood what is the point of this drill. Alfa is police SF anti terror unit, and this drill is designed to train "sharpness" and fast thinking during stress. The other guys are not "crowd" but they try to deconcentrate him while telling him what to shoot. First they speak numbers and he needs to shoot them on target but later they speak like "23+35" and he needs to calculate and shoot 5 and 8. It is very good drill.
+Bato Buter Well the shooting at the ground has to be crows control... what else could it be? Also he's pushing them away too. So clearly they aren't just "noise", in the scenario they are physically harrassing him too, otherwise he wouldn't be pushing them away... But yeah it's a mix of staying focussed and crowd control. I guess that training is intended for a Maidan kind of situation, where they'd have armed insurgents protected by a crowd of unarmed civilians. They'd have to keep the unarmed people at bay while accurately taking out the armed ones, to avoid giving the opposing propaganda machine any extra material by killing unarmed protesters.
Soff1859 from what I’ve read it seem the instructor actually called the shot for the guys, he said “shoot between your feet” and “attack dog” so both times were commands and not whims
Extreme to some i think this training is completely relevant. Training can never simulate the adrenaline and the emotion you feel in a real life situation. You must train as real life as you can to become as used to the feelings as possible. When you no longer fear the concept of being shot in the chest or shot at for that matter you can engage and perform without limitations. Your reaction to flinch or hide is removed in training and you can act with full aggression and concentration. Hats off to these guys for having the balls. Id rather be shot in training under supervision than anywhere else.
Completely agree with you there! Once you can get your mind past the fear of being shot or the hesitation of combat in general, it lends more toward full concentration of the mission and placing accurate shots.
+ColdWarWarriors LOL read about the Arditi delle Fiamme Nere... WW1 Italian "special forces" that would attack the enemy trenches silently at night and stab the enemy to death. They used to train them in simulated assaults...under REAL artillery fire :-D Often some died.

These drills are insane. I feel like using real ammo, taking real shots in the vest, and shooting live ammo right next to someones head is literally the closest you'll ever get to that situation happening and I feel like they are suuuuuper prepared for things like this to happen in the field.
@@UknoNothin Yeah I don't think a negligent discharge is tolerated in any advanced military combat unit. I wonder who the volunteers for this drill are... they have a level of trust that should be commended it's own way. At the same time, I wonder if they are prisoners dressed up as civilians...

The main difference in our Russian worldview from others can be understood in this comparison: You - "Do or die". Russia - "Die, but do". Death is not a serious obstacle to the order. Self-sacrifice, loyalty to the Motherland and duty - a symbol of the Russian soldier.

After the end of the Cold War, US and Russian special forces carry out joint maneuvers. A US sergeant enters the hall where soldiers of both nations meet and says: - Today we practice jumps from small heights - 200 meters. The Russians are panicking. After the council one of them performs and asks if they could maybe jump from 100 meters. The surprised US sergeant responds: - But we won't be able to open parachutes from a height of 100 meters! All Russians agree according to: - Ooh!? So we're jumping with parachutes today?
This guy just straight up eats three shots, center mass, and doesnt even flinch. The other guy gets three rounds zipped right past his face and doesnt even have to check his pants afterwards.
they use powderpuff loads during training. those hits to the vest weren't that bad in terms of feel most likely. Full power loads would have looked different and very well could have cracked a bone
Jesse Anderson I assume he’s referring to the powder load inside the casing, not the slug. If it’s a 230 grain 45 caliber FMJ at 50% of normal load capacity, the velocity will be significantly lower; resulting in less impact force. ;)
@@seregabrin what the fuck are you talking about. I was saying that most likely they were using severely under loaded rounds that were firing at a much lower velocity to make sure the impacts on the body armor were felt less. Competition shooters use that technique all the time to reduce recoil so follow up shots can be on target faster. You can most certainly crack ribs getting hit in the chest/ribcage with body armor. Seen it happen with Kevlar. Using powder puff loads decrease the velocity of the round enough where the armor absorbs the impact easier. Reeeeaaaaad
Николай Рассудов wow. was the profanity necessary? I've never heard of anyone shooting into the ground to scare anyone. you shoot to stop a threat. meaning you shoot at the attacker.
"typical practice in every police spec ops units" - how do you know? do you have a link? It was clearly not accidental (he was told to do so), but it's dangerous to shoot to the ground in uncontrolled environments due to the possibility of ricochet.

I did a rough translation on 2nd drill which starts at 3:25, here it is: Man1: "25 + 17!!!" Man1: "Shoot 2 (targets)! Shoot!" Man1: "Shoot moron!" Man2: "Missed!" Man1: "C'mon! Shoot 3 (targets)!" Man1: "Shoot 3 (targets) stupid!" Man1: "You missed moron!" Man2: "Holdup! (interruption)" ***Pulls out a gun and shoots behind his head*** Man1: "Shoot 3 (targets) stupid!!" Man1: "Missed stupid!!" ***Shoots at the ground*** Man1: "42! Shoot!" Man1: "Shoot 2 (targets)! Shoot!!" Man1: "Shoot moron!" Man2: "Missed! You killed a dog stupid!!!" ***Pushes Man1 and Man2 away*** Man1: "At ease, at ease"(?) (He actually says "under your feet, shoot under your feet" in Russian) The shooter pretty much says "Back off! Back off!" throughout the drill.
To all the armchair soldiers here, NO, that was not an accidental discharge on the ground, that was done ON PURPOSE to SCARE AWAY bystanders who keep fucking with a soldier trying to do his job. Ground=safest place to fire a warning shot.
+Amitt Banerjee Ground = easy way to injure or kill anybody close to you Air = safest way to fire a warning shot (there are really really tiny chances that the round falling a couple of kilometers away hits somebody, 99.9% it lands on a roof/lawn/street/field or such) Ciao armchair rambo my ass.
+IIIII47IIIII It'll most probably break up on impact, with shards ricocheting parallel to the ground. That's probably much better than shooting some poor sob 2 miles away.
+Amitt Banerjee I know a guy that fired a warning shot at somebody in Iraq, bullet ricocheted off the ground and hit the guy in the face. So no, Ground ≠ safest place to fire a warning shot.
+sasquatch4liffee It depends on the terrain. When you're standing on a concrete or rocks, it's not safe to fire underneath you. This drill however was performed on sand, which absorbed bullet's kinetic energy.
sasquatch4liffee Depends on the angle of the shot, obviously. If shallow enough, it will most probably ricochet, no doubt about that. On the other hand, shooting a 9 mm close to 90 degrees to the ground, and you'll get a broken bullet.
That guy just took 3 freaking 9mm rounds like he was ignoring flies and just hit a 1 MOA group three inches from the other trainee's head, DAMM THAT WAS INTENSE, THESE GUYS DON"T MESS AROUND!!!
I know! That guy should be the official picture for Like A Boss! As in, he just got shot several times and took it like a boss. Then he dominated an insane shooting drill, like a boss!
I was in the Marines and this makes our training look like a ballet lesson...Though i did meet a few Navy Seals and they are truly Machines, so who knows what kind of training they do.
No man stroybat is the baddest. They are not even giver arms . They have to fight with shuffles. This is the deadliest of Russian spetsnaz unit. Remember if you encounter Stroybat run run run.....
Russia has different types of Spetsnaz. Spetsnaz is just a term. ALFA is one of those and they're more like counter-terrorism while OMON and SOBR are Police Special Forces, similar to SWAT. Then there's FSKN which is similar to DEA. There are a lot of different types of special forces in Russia. Even their marines and paratroopers have Spetsnaz.
NothingTo DoCrew Yup 03 here and meet a few on base(lejeune). Solid dudes, but they dont do this kind of drill with live rounds on each other. Most of them see this kind of training as "unnecessary". SF guys ( Western NATO) = expensive asset and what larry said "too great of a risk"
Range I go to has a shoot house with live (human, they shoot back.) targets and simunitions and we treat everything as live and deadly, because it could be if you're careless. I suppose an instructor might let you do the first drill since you're already firing wax bullets at each other, intending to hit a person. And part of it is to present you with a real world scenario...but the general rule is you don't go for the head. Once the wax (lol) starts flying though things feel very real very quickly and you really just want to return fire wildly. Even when you know the penalty is a little sting you have to actively try and remember not to unload and to do everything you were taught. I can't even imagine knowing the penalty is actually getting shot and still doing this. Screw that I'll stay in civvie land with my wax thanks.
The last drill was the most badass training video I´ve ever seen, the amount of condidence and skill! Some people would shit their pants when doing that with blanks or even airsoft guns
I'm a Combat United States Marine from two wars, and NOT much makes me stop, but this..... HOLY FUCK!!!!! One bullet too low or too high, and it is lights out. This is NUTS!!!!
He shoots at the ground intentionally, it's a crowd control method. As for what they're yelling at him, they're telling him a number to shoot at (the targets have different numbers on it) they are also giving him basic math equation like 24-22 meaning he has to shoot at 2 apart from that they're just distracting him by telling him "you're stupid, you can't shoot, you missed, you shot the dog" etc. Idea, along with many other things, is getting the agents used to these situation and using guns. After drills like these you'd imagine they treat guns and bullets as if it were popcorn.
@@chemistryhacks5289 I've read the book "Inside Delta" this does not make me an expert, just telling you my source. Apparently, part of Delta's training includes a very similar kind of thing. Similar in the fact that you fire very close to a real person. Its a kill room with some targets around it, including a trainer or trainee sitting somewhere in the room. The Delta guys open the door, flash and move in. They tap the targets and try not to shoot the trainer/trainee siting in the middle. "Inside Delta" was written by an ex-delta operator from when Delta first came online. So its been quite a few years since his training happened. So who knows if its true, has changed, or if they still do it.
The second drill is all about calculating and shot the proper target. For example at 03:56 the man shouts you've killed a dog (obviously there was a wrong calculation). Also they try to confuse him by shouting "you're stupid", "you've missed" and they're shouting random numbers.
I think that there are specific numbers in the board, and you need to shoot the ones that are called, and you get yelled random numbers that are not on the board so you would shoot wrong targets. Like if there are 1, 7, 27, 56, 96 and 127 on the board, they are yelling numbers like 22, 65, 12, 17 etc that are not there, between when they call a actual numbers like 56... So you need to listen, read tables and shoot correctly.
It doesn't make them crazy (like I read in some comments or see in a reaction video from a US Marine). This type and level of training makes them the best SF group on earth. Using no blanks, fellow operators in front of your gun, shots fired close to your head, shooting at each other so you learn to trust each other and the gear you're wearing for a 100000%... they're on another level. Respect 🙏🙌
@@Eagle_Beakif you watch the video at 5:16, you will see that it wasn't a ND. He intentionally moved his finger to the trigger, fired a round into the dirt and took his finger off the trigger again. Respect to him for not cutting out his beer gut while putting on the vest scene a real man.

Too add also i would always put my money on the side that trains without fear with nothing too loose then the side who fears loosing having everything
Would you point a gun at.a man who isnt afraid to die. He may have nothing to live for but he will have your shit when your dead
Completely agree with you there! Once you can get your mind past the fear of being shot or the hesitation of combat in general, it lends more toward full concentration of the mission and placing accurate shots.

they use powderpuff loads during training. those hits to the vest weren't that bad in terms of feel most likely. Full power loads would have looked different and very well could have cracked a bone
wormraper it's not soft armor, they use armor plates, those won't hurt
To "Dead Prepper": Nice comment. Had a good chuckle. Thx.

To all the armchair soldiers here, NO, that was not an accidental discharge on the ground, that was done ON PURPOSE to SCARE AWAY bystanders who keep fucking with a soldier trying to do his job. Ground=safest place to fire a warning shot.
+Amitt Banerjee
Ground = easy way to injure or kill anybody close to you
Air = safest way to fire a warning shot (there are really really tiny chances that the round falling a couple of kilometers away hits somebody, 99.9% it lands on a roof/lawn/street/field or such)
Ciao armchair rambo my ass.

2 and half years into a war against a much smaller nation and they're losing Kursk.
@@katumus they called out calculations. the shooter had to do the math, then shoot at the answer. they called out random numbers after to confuse him.

It doesn't make them crazy (like I read in some comments or see in a reaction video from a US Marine). This type and level of training makes them the best SF group on earth. First of all, Larry got peoples attention when we was sued for selling fake china rip offs of real equipment. Dudes an internet salesman
1. Larry is not well respected and everyone in line at the local SOF PX makes fun of this guy. He refuses to publish his record. Hes not in shape and claims he was SOF before the DoD created the SOF branch of operations. It will take a simple FOIA to discredit this fat kid.
2. There is not a single weapon on this channel that is FSB protected or unobtainable state side.
3. I am an native mainland born Russian whos parents left the Iron curtain on a deal after the wall came down. Take this video to a local Russian linguistics school. They will agree. Fairly confident this was shot state side and these guys are second language speakers
4. Shot counting, People who are required to train in side arms specifically pick Glocks. They pick Glocks because you do not need to rack the slide regardless. You leave a round in chamber and never need to waste 2-3 seconds of your life in a fire fight. This so called operator in the video is randomly dropping magazines and racking his Glock on reloads. This is a deadly mistake. No Operator would make this mistake. Shot counting is 101
5. Regarding technique, this so called operator in the video has a his thumb up on the foregrip on 2 disengagements. And this so called operator cant even take his finger off the trigger during disengagement. He negligently discharged and almost took his foot off. He wouldnt pass basic qualifications
6. Regarding stress, if you think this is high stress, you never experienced a high stress shooter drill.
7. If you think someone firing over your shoulder is even relative to this like LarBear says, you clearly never did anything remotely close to this so called Drill. The fucking marines in basic run over the shoulder firing drills.
If this so called operator got in a gun fight he would lose because he rips off half his thumb skin on the slide on his dogshit reloads. Man everything about this is 100000% fake. Please dont try to defend it. The so called FSB operator doesnt even have proper footwork or box control.

In march 2018 there was european championship in military shooting in Belgium. Russia attended first time and their military operators from various units won all every single discipline if Im remeber correctly.
I believe you are incorrect. It was in Thun in Switzerland. And while the Russians Alexei Klimov came in first place in the 25 m Rapid fire pistol competition, none other were won by Russia. Fun fact, the best shooters in terms of medals were the Norvegian team, outranking all other attendees in the rifle disciplines. i guess being the homeland of Biathlon paid off.
