First of all: clean the unit once a week or so. And you don´t have this problem. It´s ok to have only 1/2" tape in front, start 1/8" from hair line. Better tape than the blue one is No-Shine and Walker Signature! And if you change every week there will be no mess on skin or lace. You can actually cut the tape trips in 3 parts and save money. And more easy to take off. Just check when you need to change. When you need stronger hold you cut it in 2 parts.
I carry a small 1 oz spray bottle of alcohol and a tiny bottle of ultra hold glue. Either in my truck or on my Harley just in case. I can hit the bathroom and do a quick fix. I do sanitize and change out the tape every week. Takes me about 30 minutes.
The problem with hairsystem is that the frontline are way too thick .... the gradual thinning should extend way further... no one in real life have a frontal hair this thick without some kind of hairdo
Hector is a rockstar! #respect

How does cutting it in 2 parts make it stronger?

Hey aren’t you suppose to remove the glue before you put in the new tape?
Yeah, he didn't even clean off all the old tape, weird...
Should you not remove the old glue first of the mesh
