Word to the wise with glasses wearers. They never cover their lenses also when covering their eyes. They either take off their glasses, push them up on their head, or push their hands underneath their glasses to cover their eyes. Hands/glasses=smudged glasses. No one wants that.
Lorelei Marivaine I am an actual glasses wearer in real life and it wasn't unnatural to me to cover my face with my hands, I'm very expressive with my hands and that sort of thing never bothers me when I have my glasses on, it is also natural body language to this character too. Plus, that action was taken directly from the comic we were referencing, so I covered my face with my hand just as he did in the comic.
So it isn't a matter of "never", but of personal preference. I've had glasses since I was 3, so my opinion is one from years of personal experience too.
