I'm definitely not pro police BUT I'm not going to throw shade at them just because that's what's in style now. These Officers felt they had reason to pull them over. When I worked Security and I felt something wasn't right about someone just sitting in the parking lot in their car, I would call the police and let them know of someone that was loitering but I suspected something more, the police could get them for loitering and further investigate my suspicions. I'm sure that what's took place in Boosie's situation.

For everyone giving props to the cops for letting him go with just a citation, what they pull him over for? Was he speeding, erratically switching lanes, missing tail lights? What?! Where's the tickets for those things?! The things he got cited for are the small things they found after stopping him. They don't get props from me for harassing and targeting a person. They really wanted to get him on something more but they didn't find anything worth the trouble that's still coming. My close friend and his girl(passenger) was heading to his momma house when he was being followed for 7mins straight B4 being pulled over for “driving 4”’s over the stop line” the officer smelled marijuana and detained them both. Searched the vehicle found nothing and let them off with a warning. Not even a ticket or citation for the original traffic violation. And this is a 19 yr old driving around in HIS scat pack in HIS community. Everything legit…..Let’s just admit it man n cut the cow dung

For the younger generation: Every time I've been pulled over or confronted by police I've been cooperative. I've always said yes sir and no sir or mam. Even when I was young I conducted myself as an older adult. A lot of people thought I was in my late twenties when I was a teenager because of the way I conducted myself. I believe it was all due to the numerous adult influence in my life and I was always different than most children. I preferred hanging out with the adults and elderly because I couldn't understand why children acted the way they did. Even as a child I was reserved and quiet, observing everything around me. Most people would've called me an old soul. I've gotten away with a few things by being the quiet and polite one; just so you know. I do my best to not let anyone get me ranting and raving in any situation. Remaining calm gives you insight for proper decisions. There's an old saying I try to live by because in any situation I find it usually works. "You draw a lot more flies with honey than you do with vinegar." Just remember your words alone can either cash or cancel the check of your very own life. The way you handle it is entirely up to you. One more thing; I've found as an older adult to pray; "Help me Jesus." It has cancelled anything against me immediately. Keep that one in your pocket for a rainy day. I promise you it works.🙏🕊️
Same I’m black and never got into it with feds, just recently ran a red light on my way to the hospital and got pulled over by a lady cop, license was expired too, but she was just joking with me and chill and let me off with a warning. Thankful I never ran into any bad ones and pray I never do.

I was pulled over twice within one mile driving through the country in Texas just for having rims... They make up what they pulled you over for after they already pull you over sometimes... The first cop said it was the tint and lied about the legal limit... my tint was normal. The second cop was so close to the first cop he heard him pull me over on the radio and wanted to catch him a ninja too... didn't know I was the same one just released, ridiculous. I took the rims off my car and I've only been stopped once the last 3 years... he saw my window down and my durag... decided to pull me over for a head light out during the day, then "accidentally" put "Driving with previous DUI" on my ticket wanting me to sign... I've never had a DUI... I don't even drink like that. Harassment can easily take a toll on your mentality. I pray for Boosie and everyone's mental health in these tough times.

to be fair i have no idea what it's like to sit on death row for 6 years on charges of crimes i didn't commit. but i've been cuffed up many times before and not only is it embarrassing but it's infuriating when you know or feel like you aren't doing anything wrong. the last time it happened to me they caught me on a bad day and i let them know. i understand they are doing their job but sometimes they treat you in such a way that it feels downright disrespectful. i wasn't doing ish and then they had the nerve to ask me why i was so upset. like why the f do you think i'm upset you have these cuffs on hella tight running all the info on my background, patting me down, and running through all my property. like how would you feel if you didn't do anything and you're automatically treated like a criminal?

Serving time for something that you didn't do will put your mind in a place where you trust nothing hear, trust no one that you speak with and have no faith in the system. People talk, then when you're released everyone wants to get close to find out your story, while all the while you were in jail, those same people were spreading rumors. The crimes that you were arrested for do not disappear from your record. They stay on your record and the police can't see the outcome of the case on their computer. So everytime a cop gets behind you, you are pulled over.

So I'm not going to comment on his death penalty situation but, I know he was in that unit with other death row inmates. So I can only go with my own experiences. Not his. I empathize with him. And being as though I was in a women prison I know it's drastically different. But understand the Moral of the story is all of us are lost and hurting inside,in all reality. These Officers felt they had reason to pull them over.
When I worked Security and I felt something wasn't right about someone just sitting in the parking lot in their car, I would call the police and let them know of someone that was loitering but I suspected something more, the police could get them for loitering and further investigate my suspicions.

That officer shocked me with how intelligently he handled that…he actually took the time to recognize that emotions were high and didn’t try to over assert his authority excessively after or before handcuffing someone this was exactly how all officers should approach a situation to avoid unnecessary problems for everybody involved

Where's the tickets for those things?! The things he got cited for are the small things they found after stopping him. They don't get props from me for harassing and targeting a person. They really wanted to get him on something more but they didn't find anything worth the trouble that's still coming. Couple that with him speaking loudly out of frustration and knowing he is gonna file a complaint, they had no choice but to cut their losses. That's why they let him go. My close friend and his girl(passenger) was heading to his momma house when he was being followed for 7mins straight B4 being pulled over for “driving 4”’s over the stop line” the officer smelled marijuana and detained them both. Searched the vehicle found nothing and let them off with a warning. Not even a ticket or citation for the original traffic violation. And this is a 19 yr old driving around in HIS scat pack in HIS community. Everything legit…..Let’s just admit it man n cut the cow dung

Every time I've been pulled over or confronted by police I've been cooperative. I've always said yes sir and no sir or mam. Even when I was young I conducted myself as an older adult. A lot of people thought I was in my late twenties when I was a teenager because of the way I conducted myself. I believe it was all due to the numerous adult influence in my life and I was always different than most children. I preferred hanging out with the adults and elderly because I couldn't understand why children acted the way they did. Even as a child I was reserved and quiet, observing everything around me. Most people would've called me an old soul.
I've gotten away with a few things
by being the quiet and polite one;
just so you know. I do my best to not
let anyone get me ranting and raving in any situation. Remaining calm gives you insight for proper decisions. There's an old saying I try to live by because in any situation I find it usually works. "You draw a lot more flies with honey than you do with vinegar." Just remember your words alone can either cash or cancel the check of your very own life. The way you handle it is entirely up to you.
One more thing; I've found as an older adult to pray; "Help me Jesus."

They make up what they pulled you over for after they already pull you over sometimes...
The first cop said it was the tint and lied about the legal limit... my tint was normal.
The second cop was so close to the first cop he heard him pull me over on the radio and wanted to catch him a ninja too... didn't know I was the same one just released, ridiculous.
I took the rims off my car and I've only been stopped once the last 3 years... he saw my window down and my durag... decided to pull me over for a head light out during the day, then "accidentally" put "Driving with previous DUI" on my ticket wanting me to sign...
I've never had a DUI... I don't even drink like that. Harassment can easily take a toll on your mentality.

to be fair i have no idea what it's like to sit on death row for 6 years on charges of crimes i didn't commit. but i've been cuffed up many times before and not only is it embarrassing but it's infuriating when you know or feel like you aren't doing anything wrong. the last time it happened to me they caught me on a bad day and i let them know. i understand they are doing their job but sometimes they treat you in such a way that it feels downright disrespectful. i wasn't doing ish and then they had the nerve to ask me why i was so upset. like why the f do you think i'm upset you have these cuffs on hella tight running all the info on my background, patting me down, and running through all my property. like how would you feel if you didn't do anything and you're automatically treated like a criminal?

The crimes that you were arrested for do not disappear from your record. They stay on your record and the police can't see the outcome of the case on their computer. So everytime a cop gets behind you, you are pulled over.
