Well, as someone who has been relatively "unlearned" most of my life (age 64+), I certainly have learned a lot from this sermon/series, despite having my nose in the Bible most of my life....

Pastor Bohr, I hope you read this or that someone gets the message to you. I praise God for your ministry and mention you in my prayers at night! You don't know me, but God has worked through you to impact and instruct me in my life. Thank God for what you do! I wish to have your same knowledge and will search the Scriptures daily. God bless you and look forward to meeting you one day, either in this life or the next. Amen and amen!

Pastor Bohr I love your teachings, most of my Bible knowledge has come through listening to every single thing that I can of yours. However with what you were saying here, I must disagree. Peter is simply trying to convey, to whom he’s writing to, that this Jesus that died and rose again in the flesh is the same Jesus that preached through Noah for 120 years, divinely long-suffering, that he might bring those disobedient souls to God. Once again Peter is simply stating that this is the same Jesus. We know when you are dead, you are dead, you do not go anywhere and preach. So we know that this must mean a different time. That is what Peter was trying to convey.

I hear a plane between marks 15:22 and 15:40, and also between marks 29:8 to 29:35. Their studio must not be sound proof.

The "spirits" in prison are NOT demons, but human beings back in Noah's time. Noah was a type of Christ, peaching in the spirit of Christ, to the old world. Compare 1 Peter 3:19 with 2 Peter 2:5. It was Noah that was preaching in the spirit of Christ. Also, people in the bondage of sin are also referred to as being in chains and prison, as seen in Psalm 107:9-16. Chains and prison does not only refer to demons.
Here is how the Spirit of Prophecy explains 1 Peter 3:19 :
"God here makes Noah a great blessing to the world, and herein makes him an eminent type of the Messiah, though not the Messiah himself, as his parents expected, Genesis 5:29. 1. God made him a preacher to the men of that generation. As a watchman, he received the word from God's mouth, that he might give them warning, Ezekiel 3:17. Thus, while the long-suffering of God waited, by his Spirit in Noah, he preached to the old world, who, when Peter wrote, were spirits in prison (1 Peter 3:18-3:20), and herein he was a type of Christ, who, in a land and age wherein all flesh had corrupted their way, went about preaching repentance and warning men of a deluge of wrath coming."
