idk who needs to read this, but i have a paper organizer for a desk and i can store my 2 laptops (work and personal), my tablet and my cables. it's soo useful.

So I have to be extra careful with my security 😅
I love seeing what people consider essential for their working situation. I both work in a Non-profit office as well as at my home desk building my brand, and I definitely feel like some essentials are the same and some are different.
Home Office: comfy chair, two monitors, plenty of charging cords for different devices, and I need to get an iPad stand. I also need a place to put my drinks and my candles.
Work Office: a separate mouse for my laptop (because we don’t get desktop computers which is kind of a pain), a non-powered diffuser, and a place to organize things like pens, scissors, and a notebook for my to do lists and notes and stuff. I also need some ways to make it MY desk that make me comfortable (I have a Pam Halpert Funko, a Selenite spiral, and a picture of my husband and I.
I love this! You’re so right, the environment where we’re working as well as the actual work we’re doing definitely impacts what we may consider “essential”!
I definitely agree with everything you said! Since my home office space is my all-in-one work set up (personal and full time job) it’s really interesting to see how my essentials are a hybrid of your essentials! Also the diffuser is a good idea! I have one but it’s not cordless, I’ll have to set it up 🥰
My diffuser doesn’t have a cord or batteries. I dunno how to explain how it works. Haha. I got it at Walmart near the candles.

Hey Selena, the Logitech MX keys keyboard allows you to connect up to multiple devices so you don't need separate keyboards for different laptops...

ahhh I love desk tours! I am a sucker for stationary and gadgets... I love your setup! I have been eyeing the laptop stand and I am so tempted to upgrade my monitor to a 34" lol YES I ALWAYS RECOMMEND A 2ND MONITOR. Helps so much.

Great video and nice setup. As a suggestion, maybe clean up the hanging cables and maybe some led light strips to shine an off white glow behind the monitor for some warmth. Really enjoyed this. 👍🏼

I have the same mini plant pot and also the same dual laptop holder (love this). If you do decide to buy the laptop stand, I recommend a very very sturdy one. I have a monitor riser similar to yours that goes across the whole desk, I was able to place my super sturdy laptop stand like 3 inches off the edge (so laptop is facing me) and it won't fall. Unfortunately, I am very picky and the screen was still further behind than my monitor, which meant it had to go on lower section of my desk taking up too much valuable space. My final setup are my 2 laptops permanently on the dual-laptop stand, and now I have a useless monitor stand.
No way? I love the plant pots 🥰 also yes the dual laptop holder is a life saver!! I will have to see if a laptop stand will work well on my new desk! I just ordered a new one and will likely share an updated desk set up very soon, after I figure out what works best for me of course 😅

You got this, it’s never too late to create an aesthetic organized space ☺️
The best thing is that you don't need a lot of money or expensive stuff to build yourself a setup.
Just list what you need (not what you want) and get them.
If the needs are covered and you have money to spare, you can focus a little bit on your wants.
(Coming from personal experience)

Selena your chair is very nice and looks comfy but you should really look into getting a more ergonomic chair to help reduce back pain especially when you are sitting for 8 hours a day. Trust me from experience a good chair is a very important investment that you will not regret

@@SelenaTrevino good morning Selena the chair I use is the autonomous ergo2. It’s a bit expensive around 400 but trust me you will never want to buy another chair again. You can always search on Amazon as well searching for specifically “ergonomic office chairs” for lower cost ones that I’m pretty sure would be even more comfortable and suitable for you. Trust I know the feel of sitting down for so many hours lol

Oh yes I was wondering this for a while too, I just had to have it plugged into the charger at first. Then go to display settings and select “extend display” and “show on 1” or whatever screen is your desktop!

Hi Selena! I'm wondering how do you turn on your laptop? when it's standing there. Otherwise Congratulations its very beautiful set up.
I keep my laptop on! Once I move the mouse and keyboard it wakes up and working! I restart it a couple times a week though.
U just adjust he display setting on your main laptop and u should be good to go. The laptop has to be on in order for the the screen to be shared and displayed on the monitor(sL

Yes I think it’s comfortable and I e had it over a year now! Like I said in the video I added a little pillow from amazon for back support and now the set up is perfect!
