Even after 8 years after this video was posted, it's still helpful
Why wouldn't it be? Math basics are still the same.
you probably dont care but if you are stoned like me atm then you can stream all of the latest series on InstaFlixxer. Been binge watching with my brother for the last weeks xD
@Keaton Nixon yup, I've been using instaflixxer for years myself :)

got my finals today. if i pass, it's all because of you professor
so did you pass?
Lol I did. Now I'm on multivariate calc
Alvin George good stuff man, keep with it. I've got many semesters left of math. I'm doing Electrical Engineering hahah
I'm in the same boat. Software engineering. No physics though so can't complain too much
Alvin George niceeeee
YOU ARE PROVING TO BE A ROLE MODEL FOR MILLIONS. HATS OFF TO YOU@@
Thank you for this videos. I always watch them when I'm confused on a concept or just need more help on certain sections. This videos truly help. Thank once again
youre literally the best tutor
Using your videos, I was able to teach myself polar graphing and pass calculus. thank you so much! truly the best math tutorial i've ever seen.
i honestly don't know what i would do without you. thank you soooo much
If you had to tell someone a few things they should know going into Calc 1, what would they be? These vids helped a lot through Trig. Thanks.
You have been so much help through my semesters of calculus. Thank you! Do you have any videos on fourth semester calculus?
As you said, you don't really need the tan(a) = y/x identity for your examples, but knowing and applying that identity would greatly simplify your work for one of them. For your example, [r = tan(a)sec(a)], after your first rewriting of the equation (and realizing that sin(a)/cos(a) is tan(a), of course) you can multiply both sides of the equation by cos(a) and then apply two identities to each side: tan(a) = y/x and r cos(a) = x
@LimeRising glad you made it through the class : )
Thanks so much! This helps so much since I didn't take percal before taking cal 2 !
glad to help!
no, it was because of YOU! i did not take the test
: )
i am happy that the vids helped a bit though
i don't get how anyone could dislike any of your videos
no problem
who would dislike such a talent of teaching ?
after 12 years, it stil works!!!!
Thank you so much! You are x1000 more helpful than my math teacher! :)
I wonder what life was like for people before 2008 lol O.o
No youtube
Pi UA-cam was 2005
I think i had just discovered a very simple techniques to simply pass math and that is to watch your videos.
#best-U
Your videos really help dude!
Wow, we just did that in school, too:D Can't wait to see your method for it.
"What was I going to say?" LOL. Happens to me all the time! Thanks for the video!
I got an A on my last test because of you!
you're a good man
ha! i am glad they have made that big of a difference! you should send me a box of cookies or something for that! (except i would not be here to eat them!!)
glad you feel that way :)
For a 3D graph: r = x^2 + y^2 + z^2, that means z = r tan Θ
4:07 the moment I realized it's a parabola.. ORGASIM!
محمد العتيبي that moment you're studying evolution in biology and read it as organism
so how would you graph rcosθ=4? if rcosθ is x that would mean x=4 so would it just be a vertica line on 4? my teacher didn't explain this.
Did you find an answer?
Yep that should be it.
ha, that is one of the next ones!
This is great, keep it up!
OMG I love youuuu!!!!.You're soo good
How do you decide which quadrants to graph when working with more complicated graphs?
Interesting😍😍😍
I would like to visualise the last one.....
Great Job! Thank you!
That was an amazing circle..
My God! you are my hero!
thanks a lot i really found it helpful
patrick JMT, more like patrickBOSS
You're amazing. I love you
do you have tutorial about relation between polar and rectangular
Thank you >> helpful video
why aren't you my teacher
+asderfaksl He is. He is just not giving you marks ;)
Wow, this was pretty useful since my teacher barely covered this stuff for some strange reason. Also, I hear Steam notifications :P
LOVE YOU
D@mn it, I wish I would have discovered your videos at the start of Cal II!!!
Oh lord. Forgot my headphones and wanted to watch this at the public library. Thought: "hey, it has subtitles!" Couldn't stop laughing :/
why did you multiply by r in the (tanxsecx) example?
you're great dude
thank you reis
do u havt to drw the graphs ?????
yea, good luck with that ;)
same in vietnam, we don't use sec and csc
The only ppl who dislike these videos are college math professors
How do i graph a cardioid and archimedean spiral? I can't seem to convert them into rectangular form.
lol, i dont think so : )
@3:56 this made me a happy man
ALSO Limacons with inner loops!!!! areas and junk!!!!! THANKS!
Why do you put arrows on the end of your curve?
After your vids, I don't give a damn shit for what my Doctor saying :P
you are GREAT man!
thanks! :)
2019 bois and gurls raise your hand.
better late than never i guess : )
Topnotch!!!
I agree, the subtitles are hilarious XD
I think you draw some really nice circles haha :D
ooooooooooooohhhhhhh! I get it. :)
Turn on subtitles at 0:28 "exceeds our present data of white house are sings a term"
BASICS??? are you kidding me? i got a nosebleed ....lol
The first question gave the wrong answer. It should be x^2+y^2=4 not square root x^2+y^2=4. that answer doesn't make any sense.
1:42
square root( x^2 + y^2) = 2, so x^2 + y^2 = 4
cool you're left handed :)
Jesus...why can't you be my teacher?
@Prot0n yes it is noob
Im so fucked for this final lol
i have no soul bby boy
@system0system you cant even spell predominent
hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
@system0system you cant even spell predominant
