That rice powder was one of the first makeup things my mom ever let me use. Back in the 90s you could get these little booklets of paper sheets with rice powder on them. You used them to blot your face and get rid of shine. They are really nice, have not seen a product like that in years!
Companies when they want to sell you a powder: You look ugly when your skin is shiny. Companies when they want to sell you the dew drops: You look ugly when your skin is not shiny.
Ever think the companies come up with some of these?? Like the setting spray one, how much more to they sell if we all soak a beauty blender every time?
Here’s some tips and advice for the Glow Recipe serum. There’s a difference between glass skin and greasy skin. Use the 1-2 drops it says in the directions because it is extremely glowy, but if used correctly it can give you a nice glow while also helping your skin with Niacinamide. Also, gently press serums into skin do not just rub it all over your face. If you’re going to apply makeup after your skincare routine wait about 30 minutes before starting.

As a very oily person, I don't get the dewy trend. I get it's a matter of preference, but in my eyes, before the powder her foundation looked like it was on for a good 5 hours and started to break down. I don't think it can last like that for more then a couple hours before literally melting off, unless your skin is dehydrated and soaks most of the serum in. The rice powder looks gorgeous, tho!

The whole trend of doing lines of colors and then blending is how I've always done my eyeshadow and yes the videos are misleading because you're only supposed to blend the outer corners and blend the inside as you go not all at the end. It works for me because it's quick once you get the hang of it 🤷🏻♀️
@@carolh3664 exactly ! Also I use less colors most of the time too or else it's just a mess to blend so overall those videos give you 0 chance to succeed 😂

The setting spray technique…. I do something similar but way less wasteful and it ends up looking better too. I spray my face normally, then immediately after with my damp beauty blender that I used to blend my face makeup, I just super lightly pat the setting spray more into my face and makeup. Like wayyyy light patting. I do freelance makeup (primarily bridal/wedding party makeup) and it works really well with most skin types! I like to be a powdery bitch too and use lots of setting powder, and this method kinda melts everything together nicely without getting rid of that matte powdery look.
If regular sunscreen gives you a rash, try using sunscreen for infants. I always buy sunscreen either for sensitive skin, or for babies, because even sometimes the sensitive skin sunscreen still burns.

hi naomi (and to anyone who is thinking of buying it/currently using it)!! i just want to warn you about the palladio rice powder product. it contains talc which can be toxic. do your research though!
The fenty beauty eye brightener isn’t a concealer, it’s like a Color corecting stick for under your eyes it brightens the dark area under your eyes before you apply foundation and concealer
When I set my eyebrows with powder, I spray my face then pat with a damp sponge, I loved the brow fix! You are SO good at symmetry!💖😇 love your hair right now too! 🦋💜
SO. for the setting spray beauty blender thing i actually recommend gettng a cheaper setting spray that works because you do have to use a little extra. The Milani make it last setting spray is my favorite "drugstore" sp. Ive always wet my beauty blnder very slightly with water then soaked it in setting spray and actually apply my foundation with the setting spray soaked sponge and it does miracles for my skin and I have enlarged pores, scars, and fine lines from genetics:) then i just go in afterwards and do a light spray all over my face and i could work a whole 12 hour shift without it budging. investing in a really good sticky primer helps too. my favorite currently is the jelly pop primer by colourpop 😋

Cometí el mismo error la primera vez que usé niacinamida, usé mucha y me quedó la cara así de pegajosa y brillosa, ahora solo uso una gota grande donde tengo los poros más abiertos y hasta me hace ver la piel más suave
To add to the setting spray hack and an extra tip that might help you achieve an even more dewy glowy look: I always use a setting spray (you can always use matte too) after I apply my foundation and powder before I move on to eyebrows and whatnot, just to make sure the spray penetrates the power. It rejuvinates the skin, acts as a second barrier before the last spray to lock everything in and doesn't make it look so cakey and powdery if you like having more fresh looking skin. For me it makes products like bronzer, blush and highlighter apply easier. And make sure the spray has completely soaked in! The pigments stick so much better and you don't gave to use so much! I hope any of you that sees this tries it out and let me know what you think! ♥
I personally don't like the highlighted/moist/shiny look. On myself that is. Because I have very very textured skin, like rough sand paper. So when it's shiny it looks really bad. I use body powder (paraffin with talc, unscented, unlike normal baby powders) to mattify my face. I also use mineral tinted powder for special occasions. I'm a guy btw. Also love your bareface. The world needs to know that real skin isnt flawless, regardless of genders.
i always do a powder base when i do my eyeshadow, i find it helps the shadows blend together. Sometimes i use light colored face powder and sometimes i use an eyeshadow
I think the eyeshadow blending hack works but only with extremely blendable eyeshadow palettes. I've done it with a Morphe palette & it worked really well.
I bought the lip stain stuff & it def does transfer. & it doesn't last all day. it gets like weird in the lip line as well. HOWEVER, while it lasts it is cute. but not for that price nuh uh
Hear me out... Why would they make a setting spray in a spray bottle if you need to soak a sponge in the product? Why not put it in a normal bottle instead? Sounds suspish to me. I don't buy it.
it applies more evenly on the sponge bc if you pour it out of the bottle it just settles in one spot and adsorbs deep into the sponge. I just spray my onto my face and blend it in with a sponge, but spraying the sponge makes it more precise as you don't want setting spray on your eyeshadow, lips etc
You have to choose one beauty product to use for the rest of your life!!! Which one? 🤔
blush forever and ever
Lip gloss
always mascara. i always love my natural skin so i never really use anything else :)
blush!!
1000% mascara
I love that Naomi actually says stuff is too expensive and doesn't just justify the cost because something is fun or trendy. Very real.

I loooove the Palladio rice powder. I used the hell out of the rice paper oil blotting sheets when I was in HS, they were amazing, too. 😍
The fenty beauty eye brightener isn’t a concealer, it’s like a Color corecting stick for under your eyes it brightens the dark area under your eyes before you apply foundation and concealer
I love your super long videos, where you just chill and talk. Lieben wir. Your videos are very calming. Love this atmosphere.
Pennywise part had me howling 🤣 been watching you for years and loveeee your personality gorgeous lady 🥰💕
Ive always wet my beauty blnder very slightly with water then soaked it in setting spray and actually apply my foundation with the setting spray soaked sponge and it does miracles for my skin and I have enlarged pores, scars, and fine lines from genetics:)
then i just go in afterwards and do a light spray all over my face and i could work a whole 12 hour shift without it budging. investing in a really good sticky primer helps too. my favorite currently is the jelly pop primer by colourpop 😋
I've been using that rice powder for years and it is amazing, it's cheap, effective and really soft.
Girl, you need to wear these eyeshadow colors more often, your eyes were POPPIN!! Coming from a professional makeup artist, this is the eye look MADE for you 😍😍
This skit at the beginning is so cute, I love seeing you experiment with new things ❤️❤️
The eyeshadow blending was a bust but I LOVE the colors you used!! The purple-y black with the gold is 🔥
"Who even has pimples there?"
Ich. Dauernd. Von meiner Brille 😭
Your natural hair color is the most unique and most beautiful hair color I've ever seennnnnn🥺💜 I mean please consider letting us see more of your natural hair color 💕💖 Love you 🥰🌺
Little tip to try out:
I was used to just put glowing pimer on my cheeks, where I wanted my highlighter to be put foundation onand after that a little bit of a very settle highlighter - was beautyful😁
Ngl got scared after "I was used"..... but a great tip
@@alexa_7857 😂😂yeah, I *was used to* do it, 'cause right now I prefer a very strong hilight.. but I'm sure the time of the nice softer highlight is coming back, as I change my makeup-moods very often..😂🤣
@@saphiradiemers8057 dw, me too 😁
That palladio rice powder has been around FOREVER. I worked at sally beauty forever ago and we used to sell out pretty quickly. people really seem to like it.

i swear naomis videos give me so much serotonin, never change naomi 🥺❤️🥦
I was drinking apple juice during the pennywise moment 😭 now there’s apple juice everywhere
I’ve been using that Palladio rice powder powder for YEARS! You can get it at Sally’s. I LOVE IT. 🥰
Can we all agree that naomi's lowkey halloween aesthetic is just 😘👌

She is literally the bestt i love her sm
Cometí el mismo error la primera vez que usé niacinamida, usé mucha y me quedó la cara así de pegajosa y brillosa, ahora solo uso una gota grande donde tengo los poros más abiertos y hasta me hace ver la piel más suave
That golden eyeshadow is so cute!❤️🔥❤️🔥
Yes.
I kinda feel betrayed with the hair be changing without me 🤔 is it just me or u feel the sameee? BUT YOUUU LOOK GREAT AS ALWAYS NAOMIII!! 🥦🥦🥦
thank you for mutually sparking joy with the intro/outro idea
we love laughing with and at you
I personally don't like the highlighted/moist/shiny look.
"i'll translate"
"it literally just said put it on your face."
love her lol
I think the eyeshadow blending hack works but only with extremely blendable eyeshadow palettes. I've done it with a Morphe palette & it worked really well.
I feel like the shiny is beautiful for photo shoots for that healthy glow , however in daily life I agree that the product would look “greasy” irl
I’m do obsessed with your videos :D I’ve been waiting for the next uploads for days :)
IM GONNA HAVE NIGHTMARES BECAUSE OF THAT PENNYWIES FACE😭
I read this comment a second too late 🥲
This whole video was TRESH, and I loved every second of it all, especially the "creepy" moments, those were EVERYTHING!!!!!
I bought the lip stain stuff & it def does transfer. & it doesn't last all day. it gets like weird in the lip line as well. HOWEVER, while it lasts it is cute. but not for that price nuh uh
I am just obssed With naomis style ,her make up skills her hair ..it's just..wow
