- Hey everyone. This is a video of my mobile dj event setup. Takes me 15 min to set up and about 25 min to break down. I wanted to put together something fast, esthetic and easy but effective. My EV Evolve 50 is one of my better investments so far. Very versatile and appropriately loud. I got em in white so that I can illuminate them to mimic the look of a trust or a totem. Rockville wireless lights were the next best investment. They are simply, in my opinion, the best bang for your buck out there when it comes to par lights. They are totally wireless. Plus, if you don’t want to mess around with dmx you can link all the lights together and put em in sound mode and watch them do work ! It’s very simple to link the lights too. Finally, Soundswitch was my third best investment so far. I think it’s an effective solution to take your light game to professional status in no time. There was a learning curve, but the more I played with it the more possibilities opened up for me. Alright happy djing all and may the light show be with you !

Do you run a dmx wire from soundswitch box to the first light and then use the first light to relay to all other lights wireless? Or do you run the wireless dongle from soundswitch to all lights? Appreciate your videos, I've purchased some of my equipment based off your recommendations. Thank you.

I plug the wireless transmitter directly into the Soundswitch dongle and am able to transmit wireless dmx to anything that has the Rockville receivers (or built in like the Rockwedge and best par wireless lights)

how do the evolve 50's hold up, bass wise, in a bigger room end playing House music?

They hold up really well for events 200 and below which is most of what I do. I have to turn down the base sometimes. For bigger events I add a big sub.
Are the best par 50's as bright as the wedges ? It doesn't look like they light up the facade very well

How do the rockpar 50’s compare to the rock wedge in terms of brightness and battery life? I’m looking to get them for up lights and was leaning towards the 50’s because of the ability to angle them. Nice setup👍🏼
Thanks Chase. These are actually the best par 50's. Again another one of my mistakes in the video. They are good but definitely not as bright as the rockwedge. I use them only for my facade. Even with the Rcokwedges I sometimes wish I had a bigger, brighter light in some scenarios...The one I would really consider if buying again is the BestPar 60's...Check out DJ Brite Eyes comparison videos on the rockwedge vs the best par 60
Lavish Life Djs Dj Peck for me Rockwedges an Best Par 60 are the same in brightness, the only difference is the Best Par 60 has a bigger beam.

I kept saying auto script instead of auto loops...So the first song was auto scripted or pre-programmed by myself prior to playing it. Then I played the same song (uploaded the same songs with different tags in serato) but had it go through sound switch auto loops.

Dj Brite Eyes yes sir. 12 and maybe more to come. Love these little lights. I might get some 60s too but I know transporting them can be a pain sometimes.
