I so much appreciate seeing a group of religious women continuing to wear a habit, a sign that your community is proud of your mission, my continued prayers are for the community may you continue to grow and spread God's love.
That was beautiful.Though her action garnered little fanfare and attention of the world it is cherished by Almighty God. I pray her vocation is long and fruitful. 😇

@dhouse609 He may be handsome but not available. Catholic Priests cannot get married. If he's a Deacon, then he can be, and have a family. But they're also Ministers in the church, and help Priests. I believe they do take Vows, like Priests do.

Novices typically wear a different color veil than the professed Sisters because they are still in formation and have not taken vows. In our Community they are veiled in white during their first year of novitiate. Next year, as her apostolic year begins, she will receive the blue veil. And the following year, God Willing, she will profess first vows.
I wish if i could be there but who accepts Asians impossible she is lucky because she is white poor me only Jesus ❤ can take me to places Ii want to be not any human being on earth 😢😢😢
Sadly, she misses the mark by saying she consecrates herself to Mary. John 14:6 Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the father except through me.”
Still don't get why the men have anything to do with such a ceremony. Sure, say Mass, but it is weird and icky for the men to have anything to do with the habit, vows, etc. Many aware women's religious congregations recognize this and have corrected this egregious error.
Why is it icky? They are there to proceed over the ceremony in persona-Christi as Priests. And I bet you 100 dollars cold hard cash that the orders that you are talking about, are dead.. IF they get any vocations.. it's from women 50 and above and they probably don't even wear a habit. Lucy is my niece and we are all very proud of her, I suggest removing your comment as it clearly doesn't fit in this beautiful event.

The RCC has established itself as a masculine oriented and male exclusively led organization -- it would be nice for the women to experience their own power in rituals like these. You need to do some reading if you are intending to have healthy relationships with women -- but don't take my word for it -- ask around. I'm sure there's a woman who knows you who will give you some feedback. In the mean time, sending you blessings and all good wishes for the veils to fall from your eyes and ears so you can finally understand the actions of Jesus as depicted in the Christian Scripture -- you might want to pick up a copy of the New Jerusalem Bible, one of my favorites due to the fact that a few on the editorial board were teachers of mine.
