There is a section past the Quonset hut-like buildings with the large solar panels where there is a fair amount of aluminum & some other nice goods to be found. Just continue down the middle past the buildings & thru the leaning rocks.

Hello; just had send out this hail. Just saw a guy playing the same planet and he used your idea about that high ground for the base. He did it because the place you are in, is the low lands and it will be underwater. So, get moving.

Hope you are planning to move your base .. it seems to be in a low area and once Water starts .. you might be in trouble as the first game.

when you build where you wii want to stay just be careful you have enough space when you set off your rockets to get ores to come down. found they were getting lost and hitting the big mountains and then no way to collect the iriidum coming down

You will find that most of the time you will have to make your own Super Alloy, The mine doesn't become available until much later in the game. The 3 new elements make it very interesting and you will get a Tier 3 Ore Crusher which gives you more bang for your buck.

I've found quiet a bit of Super Alloy on the ground. I did have to make a few early game before I started to really explore.

I found enough super alloy in a section of the ice cave to fill up my T3 backpack.(more than a little but not a tremendous amount)

To me, dolomite looks like a cross between ice and titanium. But i can also see iron in the way it shines. I just more often mistake it for ice it titanium depending on the angle i see it.
