He still kinda feels underwhelming, but at least he's getting more supports. With Xilonen, he should be a little faster now in killing Geo slimes, even if it's still overall slower than Razor.
I played genshin for about a month or two at the beginning of 3.0. I just came back in 5.0, and I find the hardest part of the game for me is obtaining and building teams to play. At this point, I just feel like I'm missing so many pieces to core teams.
Exactly same here, i managed to get tighnari recently when i started playing again from the selector, now im playing tighnari, fischl, xiangling, kirara but i don't know if this is good or trash
I understand how it might seem that way, but from someone that’s been playing constantly since 1.1, it feels like the team building plateaued around 3.0. By this, I mean that since then the game has really only added units that are alternative to existing units, rather than adding characters with unique mechanics that are “must pulls”. They’ve added so many “main DPS” that at this point it’s just pick whichever you like, of course Arlecchino and Neuvillette are great damage dealers that don’t require super specific teams to work. Otherwise, the characters that are key players for most teams are Zhongli, Kazuha, Xingqiu, and Nahida. These four will help you enable the widest variety of teams. Xilonens not out yet, but she’s looking to be on par with Kazuha. Otherwise it’s as simple as getting who you like to start out with, and branching out from there.
Keep at it and this problem will quickly fade. Then the problem you'll face will be trying to keep up with the perpetual treadmill to actually building the characters you have 😅
you don't need to go for core team straight away ,just pick 5* who can synergize with 4* first .Something like raiden-ben-xl-chev and nahida-xq-kuki-flex is strong team for new account/players to max star the abyss ...pick a flexible 5* that can play well with 4* first
As an Alhaitham and Navia main attempting to build Chevreuse overload teams, I cannot wait to FINALLY have Nahida. Just like with Raiden , my sad 4.7 self has so many archon shaped holes in my team. When I pulled Raiden it was like going to Narnia with all the possibilities. I have been having SO much fun and I can't wait to have even more fun with Nahida thrown into the mix 🎉

@@neverever1704i am a navia main too! personally i don’t have alhaitham so i don’t see the need for nahida on my acc, so ill be going for xilonen. xilo won’t buff dendro or anemo tho so your alhaitham can’t use her, but having xilo w navia on the other side of the abyss can be 10x better than ningguang or zhongli based on buffs yk? (same reasoning w alhaitham and other dendro supports) but it depends what you wanna run with your navia and alhaitham. i wanna go for xilo to treat my queen-but if i were you i’d still go for xilo but i might be based 🤷♀️

I am skipping Xilonen mostly because I am partial to male characters 🥰 Now that aside, I personally do not think I will enjoy having to use her on field for several seconds to fill up her gauge to get her buffs. For me I know it will feel like I am interrupting myself As purely a me problem I also have issues with processing visual information in games. I skipped Kinich (and was VERY sad about it) because I cannot tell when his gauge is full or move to his blind spots fast enough and remember to fire the cannon and it just pretzels my brain. I will probably have a similar issue with Xilonen's gauge esp if the grass is the same color. If it wasn't for the fact that Alhaitham's attacks have EXTREMELY well designed audio effects that let me tell immediately by sound how many mirrors he has, he would be impossibly difficult for me. Lastly, for overload I have Chevreuse for resistance shred. I still have no Sucrose and I had to skip Kazuha to save my wishes for Raiden and Nahida but I will pick him up if I don't have a Sucrose by the time he's back. Dendro has Deepwood, and Zhongli has universal res shred. So Xilonen isn't going to be unique enough to justify my limited gems for my account at this point in time. Since I have no Archons I am prioritizing my gems for the archon marathon. Hopefully I can get Mauvika, Zhongli, furina, and Nahida. And if I have enough left for Neuvillette that would be nice and if wrio actually isn't a collective hallucination, I'd use my first time double top up on him 🥺

I need them for Arle overload/Mono pyro, Raiden Overload, Wrio Reverse Melt and now with Xilonen I would have to ditch my Navia-Xianyun plunge and bring in Bennet/Xiangling. This dilemma needs to be studied I tell you.
I really hate how bait Chiori’s C1 is, I hate that I’m tempted to get her C1. I pulled her because I like her, but she’s been benched since then, just accumulating cracked Golden Troupe pieces but not using them at all. It will be a lot easier to find a use for her if I can pair her with more Geo Characters. I actually don’t think Hoyo is going to give us more construct characters anymore, they want to bait the C1.
It's not about just the c1 itself, but more about they are making a problem and selling the solution in the form of a constellation. That geo construct restriction shouldnt be there in the first place
Ive said it before and ill say it again I think C1 Chiori topic is overrated? Here me out, ill explain simply. See most chars have their cons /C1s too that r just what DPS Inc right? Pretty much it for like majority of chars. What do u think Chiori's is? It's a flat DPS inc for ur team,nothing else. The only rsn ppl talk about this a lot compared other ones is cause of "wording/the way the con functions/mindset of ppl that make it seem more crazy than it actually is" Now to lastly point out mathmetically, let's say in an Navia team the difference between C0 v C1 Chiori will be 5-10% Team DPS wise i assume/depending team/investment of other chars/Chiori. That's an avrg estimate amount for most ppl,for some maybe it will be as high as 15-20% i guess.. Not that common,nor is that significant if we go by standards of "Cons of chars in general". Especially newer generation cons than past yrs.. (Am not a TCer and haven't done maths but i can very well assume similar numbers as an experienced enough player) Literally many characters both dps/off field sub dps all have cons ,especially c1 or c2 that range from 5-10% to 20-30% even for a con of DPS inc..,it's not rare enough to the point only Chiori is the highlighted talk. Lastly another example is literally Yelan, an old enough char too and a top meta one too, her C1 is indirectly just lowering her energy needs massive, this could lead to use offensive weapons/ HP sands over ER sands/ER weapons.. Also build more crits ,hp than ER in build.. All that leading to nothing but DPS inc only.. ,her usual way to go at C0 is Fav with HP sands and Aqua isn't always the best choice,sure u can go for it in double hydro but even then need decent ER at C0. Sure i won't lie Aqua Yelan with Emblem of 200% er on C0 will be more Dps than Fav Yelan with HP sands but it's not as high,let alone solo hydro teams also need way more ER,whereas Fav build can smoothly run Solo hydro with HP sands.. All this to say, Chiori C1 is good n all but overrated,and ppl often underestimate how C0 Chiori is also very strong(not saying shes meta or anything but just saying she's not trash at C0 and suddenly becomes op at C1.. Sure it's a shame Xilonen doesn't have a Construct, their duo wouldve been even stronger bur alas.. Sadge i guess lol (As one would say... " I weep for the departed/missed opportunity" )
I kinda think you undervalued her for Ayaka and Itto. Since xilonen provides 0 off-field geo application, she won't trigger shatter. And with Itto slotting in xilonen and furina, then replacing gorou with yelan or bennett, while not traditional, is theoretically better just because of the massive amounts of buffs and off-field damage.
kazuha is still better than her for ayaka because of ayaka's reliance on good grouping in AoE to keep enemies frozen and packed together throughout her burst duration, and in single target, ayaka shouldn't be your first choice bring anyway

Way to liberal with your "nah" placements. For any character that deals damage that scales with dmg% or resistance reduction, (besides anemo or dendro) Xilonen is at least a decent option. I will be playing her in monocryo. Maybe get that c2 for 60% crit damage for all other characters.
I havent been so hyped from a design perspective since Yoimiya, i REALLY love the Gyaru/blond style in anime so Xilonen it's a must pull for me and even better knowing shes a top tier support.
Honestly, I'm not interested in most of the natlan characters. Even if they're super strong, I don't want to nor plan on pulling for most of them. I don't know if I've been less hyped for new characters since before Sumeru came out. Chiori seems like a nice pull to me, though.
it's the fire energy mechanic. it's deflating to know half of their mechanics don't work right outside of natlan. it's really discouraged me from drawing on natlan characters.

You're undervaluing Ayaka as is usual nowadays. I've been an Ayaka main for years and I can tell you a healer Kazuha is a godsend. My favorite Ayaka team was yelan Kazuha shenhe for a long time. But it has no healer. Had to pull Kokomo which in my opinion isn't that fun to use in freeze and losing yelan sucks. If Kazuha healed...? Oh boy wouldn't that be good. Now we have furina. So it's mandatory to get rid of Kazuha or shenhe. But Xilonen? You get the best of all worlds. And even if none of this was the case.. she's literally another Kazuha and she doesn't get off field geo. OF COURSE she's good for Ayaka and literaly any other cryo dps. But of course, the narrative that cryo freeze and Ayaka suck
Ayaka wants the grouping, though, so Shenhe probably be the one who gets the boot. Which, well, shouldn't surprise anyone, since she was always the 4th slot character, the one that added the least value to the team.
i was also an ayaka main. i thougth that xianyun would ve an upgrade (ayaka, furina c2, shnehe an xianyun), but, as its said, the team needs the grouping. xianyun is not confy enought

Even if you think she needs grouping it's undeniable she's good for her. Furina doesn't group either and she's obviously good. Just get a 4th slot that can group if it's that necessary or run Kazuha Xilonen like the other person said
I had planned to take a bit of a break from genshin impact and content related to it for a while and only do commissions until 5.1 update. I had been doing a lot recently and was feeling a bit overwhelmed by genshin. But Jello impact just had to drop a video. Obviously I'm going to watch.

Hu Tao with Xingqiu, Furina, and Charlotte is an insanely fun and comfy team. The defensive application along with the frequent freezing means that very little will be a threat to them. The rotation is also super easy, with no need to worry about whether Hu Tao vapes or melts. The damage will be high enough to get you through most damage checks no problem.
7:30 please test more with gaming when you get xilonen. I have him at c6 but don't have xianyun. I would like to see how he performs. Everyone seems to forget about him even though he is strong.
if you dont have Xianyun, Xilonen Bennett Furina is his best team, but we are so close to Lantern Rite that you could wait to pull Xianyun there tbh, what Xilonen do open for Gaming is Melt Teams, but while they get better than right now, they are still not better than the core I previously commented

@@fortytwo4331 I personally dont like play Xianyun with VV because the Gaming setup is annoying to do, im using her on TTDS + Song Past and is less DMG than a correct VV setup, but just a little worse according to optimizer, but Song Past is 100% uptime and guaranteed to be active and is still better than Xilonen *for me*

You should consider ranking sub-dps together in this list. Xilo was made precisely to reduce resistance for 2, 3 characters, otherwise it's not even worth getting her, it would be easier to just farm VV
As Nahida is the only one out of these 4 that I have, I can only give info about her. As someone who used that team for a while, C0 Raiden works really nicely with Nahida. No need to be torn about it. After Nahida came out, with some time, this became my 2nd go to team in the abyss (Raiden hyperbloom, with Raiden herself being the driver, Yelan and Nahida being the dendro/hydro application, and 1 slot for extra elemental checks, or for Xingqiu/Fischl, depending on what was needed.) Only thing is, that after Neuvillette came out, and I got him, he kind of took over as my strongest DPS unit, even stronger than my pretty damn invested melt Ganyu. So dendro only stayed as an option as Hyperbloom Neuvillette with the Nahida + Raiden + Furina team. But even there, they work really nicely together. As you've mentioned as well, I relied on hyperbloom damage a lot mostly because I have only a handful of 5 star weapons, as I never once wished on the weapon banner. With the wise words of general Ackbar: "It's a trap!" As for how effective Nahida is with teams other than Raiden/Neuvillette: I did try Nilou Bloom with a borrowed Nilou in Imaginarium Theater once, it worked nicely, but I'm not sure wether it's due to Nahida's awesome dendro application, or that Nilou's insane build. For Clorinde, I always put Nahida on the team, and it's always nice to have extra damage from reactions (aggravate mostly), but my favourite supports for Clorinde are characters like Yelan/Xingqiu, who have coordinated attacks with her. Maybe even Fischl if you have her on C6. Nahida is a great option for Clorinde for sure, it just doesn't feel as amazing, because there are less numbers popping off when you're beating up opponents with any of the previous 3 missing. I never really built my Tighnari properly, so I can't say anything about his damage output, or best teams, I'll believe Jello on that one, the only lace I ever used mine was in the Imaginarium Theatre, and even there, only for the tower deffense stage, against the ruin guards, because he's an archer, who could stun them for a long time. (I do have his BiS 4 star event weapon though, that thing hits almost as hard as Amos' bow (even on Ganyu, depending on the team and enemy, which was surprising). Maybe even harder, depending on the team/build.) 1 extra team I could recommend, is Yae Miko, Nahida, Furina, with whoever you so choose for the 4th slot, as this team can hyperbloom your opponents even if you're just running around. Pretty handy for one of the Natlan local legend achievements. Note: how is Bennett not BiS for Hu Tao? I always tought her best team is Hu Tao / Yelan / Furina / Bennett Anyway, I'mma pull myself a Xilonen, and hope for the best to gather enough pulls for Mavuika after, even if I have to skip Chaska this way. It kind of hurts, that Xilonen, Chaska, and Mavuika, the 3 characters I was hoping to get the most, are on consecutive patches. As a f2p, I can't really gather primogems fast enough, unless I win all the 50/50's...
@@jayasuriya2606 I'd probably recommend Xilonen for any teams other than aggravate, Nolou Bloom, or Hyperbloom. Aggravate isn't really on top nowadays, heck, I never even liked it, and without Alhaitham, it probably won't be on top anyway. Xilonen however is very versatyle, and can fit on a ton of teams. You said you have father, so her, Benny, Xilonen, and Kazuha perhaps could be an amazing team. As Kazuha's and Xilonen's buffs stack with one another, similarly they stack with Benny, so they can buff up father to oblivion and beyond. If you lack one of them, let's say Kazuha, on such a team, you could always replace him with Furina/Yelan/Xingqiu to make it into a vape Arlecchino team, with insane buffs.
@@AverageRNGHater I'm not using Keqing much, heck, I didn'teven bring her into the Imaginarium Theatre, but I do believe that aggravate is one of her stronger teams, and aggravate needs a ton of off-field dendro application, in which, Nahida is the best. However, there are other options that can also work well with her, like Baizhu, Yaoyao, Kirara (less effective, needs her burst), even Collei (only her burst though) or Dendro Traveler (again, burst only). Alternatively, you can try slotting in a Furina/Yelan/Xingqiu with them, to make it into a hyperbloom team, which are always srong, but in that scenario, Keqin's elemental mastery would become an exceptionally important factor for the team.
I'm not sure if I'll pull for any of these characters, but I'm mainly torn between Chiori and Nahida, since Chiori is very pretty and also makes for one of the only decent Albedo teams, but also Nahida is more universal and also super cute and baby and I could do some Ayato stuff with her or maybe even Klee so idk
Nahida is absolutely busted, she enables so much fun comps. She is objectively the better pull, BUT if you like Chiori more get her. Nothing is worth more than your enjoyment.
I would recommend Zhongli as BiS for Hu Tao, especially for those who want to pull for her this coming patch. I became as one of the beginning Hu Tao mains when I pulled for her, and I'm struggling so much without Zhongli. Hayst. (Skill issues sorry) If you have Zhongli, try to pull and build Hu Tao. She is so strong, believe me 😊
The only reason why i want xilonen, besides her design is the fact that i got so annoyed having to swirl the right elements.. In the end kazuha is just made for grouping in my teams and i just go unga bunga with whichever i swirl.. Edit: to anyone saying it's skill issue.. Sure you can say whatever.. But i always do get the swirl correct.. It is not about i can or cannot swirl the correct element.. It is about hoe much of a hassle swirl is and the duration it has.. And to those who have replied, i had to copy paste my replies, cuz all 4-5 of you just said the same thing and it is fking annoying..
To the others saying she still needs to crystallize properly, atleast even if you don't crystallize properly her shred is still there, meanwhile Kazuha needs to swirl the right element just for his buffing from kit and shredding from artifact to work.
I like how the kazuha vs xilonen situation is more like the xingqiu yelan situation than the kazuha venti situation, in the fact that they work together and don't directly compete. My kazoo lives on. :)
@@HatoSan24 For her personal dmg, absolutely But if you wanna consider team dmg and still play Ning, you can play Navia and Ning dual carry. It's not Navia best team (specially considering Xilonen now), but it's the best team dmg while still using Ning as a Carry. I have some videos with this team and i'll do some with Xilonen Ning too
I'm using Nahida c2 team and Raiden c3 hypercarry for 1 year + in the abyss floor 12. I got neuvillette c1 but I didn't use him for the endgame because it's so weird to play compared to them. Anyway good video! It help me to realize I'm going to skip this patch.
I want to get Pyro DPS for my account and Hu Tao is pretty nice option for me, however, I am scared about Pyro Archon. If she will be DPS, I guess I should wait for her to get most newest and strongest DPS option…
Cyno is the jing yuan of genshin apart from them being electro using the power of a spirit,both playing board games,every new support somehow buffs him just as everything new buffs jing yuan(nahida,baizhu,furina,chevreuse,xilonen)
Xilonen's actually the best option for Nahida Furina Quickbloom teams, because she's the only one who can both build fanfare and res shred through nahida's dendro aura. Your Furina, Nahida, and Electro Carry will all be doing very good personal damage, plus you'll get some decent hyperblooms. Really strong in both single target and AOE. Raiden, Yae, Keqing, Chlorinde, Sethos, and Cyno will all perform quite well here.
First half of this patch is such an easy skip for me sadly. I'm annoyed seeing Chiori rerunning on a banner already when she was just debuting on 4.6 and I had zero interest in her or her kit back then so it's an even bigger skip now when I think Zhongli should've been opposite Xilonen instead. I'd so much rather see one of Hoyo's forgotten 5* cryos actually be let out from the basement. Only reason I'm possibly pulling on the second half weapons banner is if 5.2 reruns don't interest me in the slightest, which I'm not holding my breath for any of the characters I really want more cons of actually showing up anytime soon.
Ugh I was not rolling for Xilonen but she is looking mighty fine. Those booty shorts and tail are killing me. Plus her kit looks super useful. IEspecially on the other side in abyss. I would immediately replace Kazuha in my Arlecchino and Mualani teams for starters. Her animations are smooth and fluid. She looks like a blast in open world. I already have the other characters so she is my only option this patch. I am eagerly awaiting details on Mavuikas kit.
coming back to genshin for the first real time after inazuma dropped and seeing you say that my Hu Tao, Ayaka, Zhong and Xing team is outdated made me feel so much pain. Getting gated by resources to make a new team is killing me, especially one that keeps up with my, admittedly lacking, but still great Hu Tao damage, has been soooo painful.
Im a Noelle main and I really dont know what to do and many guides dont tell me about it. Ive been using noelle(c6)-furina(c2)-chiori-yelan and with kachina I replaced yelan for natlan stuff which felt great cause she activates chiori. But i dont know if i should go for chiori C1 or xilonen to better my noelle team.
I love the Noelle love. If it's just for this team, you won't need Chiori c1 really since its best value comes with being able to slot her with non-construct teams and you already have Kachina. For Xilonen, you get a geo Natlan support, which would replace Kachina or Chiori. If you replace Kachina, you won't get Xilonen heals (but not necessary since you're maining Noelle) and if you replace Chiori, more of your team damage will come from Noelle. You actually have some flexibility here, but my guess for strongest damage team would be Noelle, Furina, Xilonen, Yelan.
you dont have goruo c6? i play a lot my noelle team since furina. noelle c6, furina c2, albedo c2 and goruoc6. im waiting for ittos weapon for an upgrade.

@@seniorprogramer no, my gorou is only C4, maybe he could be on these banners and that would help. But that would just give me more options without knowing what's the best. Maybe with gorou chiori C1 would help as she would be the role of albedo in your team
The only right answer is Chiori. If you already have her, then get her C1. If you already have it, then get her signature weapon. If you're too based and already have that, then get any other character.
i dont plan on getting her to c1 but i went hog wild and got her weapon i plan on pulling xilo and and hu tao though TBH hu tao has kinda been outsted by arlechino since while yes both hurt themselves, arlechino is a safer option
Chiori C1 is a dumbass bait. Legit having to buy a constellation to fix an incomplete character at C0. I'd rather get a whole different character like Xilonen, Furina, Clorinde, Neuvillette, Mualani, Kinich, etc,etc,etc that works extremely well at C0.
DPS's I want. Pyro = Arlecchino (have) Hydro = childe (if not then nuevilette and i have him) Electro = Chlorinde Cryo = Ayaka Anemo = Wanderer Geo = Navia Dendro = Kinich (lost then got him. Worth it) I want to collect all archons too. Missing venti, zhongli, and soon to be Mauvika.

I startet playing on Neuvillette rerun and got him, Arlecchino, Furina(c1) and Kazuha, since then i was able to 36 star the last 2 Abyss without sig. weapons only f2p. I also got Bennet, Xingqiu and Xiangling c6 in those Banners which made it a lot easier. I want to build something new so i will be going for Nahida.
For me, who loves to play Itto, Xilonen looks like a good pick... And that's mainly to give better options for him. Xilonen's 36% shred and 40% elemental damage boost (with cinder city) more than makes up for the loss of Gorou's 15% geo boost, 40% crit damage and extra flat defense. ... And then you can just throw in Furina or Yelan to further boost damage, and maybe Raiden as a sub-dps and battery ...or just whatever you need for the elemental shields you'll face. I'm looking forward to using Itto more =3
I love your content but I am skipping 5.1 banners. Baizhu is better for Cyno than Nahida in my experience so I don't feel Nahida is best in slot for Cyno she is more a strong option.
@@Kiwiiizzz when she was still able to heal I would have agreed but not sure I share that perspective given she is not a healer. I need more healers. geo and pyro healers are kinda priority for me right now as they are the shortest supply. I need a true pyro healer and sadly Chevreuse being locked to overload limits her viability and That is the only true pyro healer option so I hope for another to come to exist and as for Geo it's kinda Noelle and As far as I can tell Garou is mono geo locked sadly so Geo needs a true healer as well. Xilonen is useful but I would hardly say she is a must have. People have said Yelan is a must have and I have felt no loss in not having her at all.
I've been playing since launch. The only characters that I do not have are navia and kinich. Lost the 50 on him. But for the first time, I really don't care.. definitely going for pyro archon. Other than that, i'm just looking for movement mechanics in that land that helped me get across the map better.
She makes not wanting to switch to counters very ez with the resistance shred which is a game changer . On top of that she heals and buffs ! Everyone will need her just like how they need kazuha . And " those already insane units " like the overhyped nauvillette needs furina to actually be insane . No insane unit without buffs can do shittt.
I've been wanting chiori since forever so Imma pull for her regardless. Also like, I play this game more for fun more than meta. Like I'm alr happy being able to clear abyss. I don't feel the need to 36 star. Edit: I talked abt this to my friend also, then he said I should pull for who I like. Then as for xilonen, I can pull for her when her rerun comes. Cuz, her rerun is definitely going to come before another chiori rerun
Disagree with Clorinde. The biggest annoyance with Kazuha is multiwaves and Clorinde is locked in for her skill. Xilonen circumvents that. Clorinde uses the same team styles than dps Raiden but better i.e. aggravate, hyper, overload and taser which Xilonen would help with all.
Nah chevreuse exist and she provides so much buffs at c0: > 40% res shred > 60% attack bonus ( E talent / pyro resonance) > 12% elemental dmg bonus or 20% atk (Cinder city / noblesse)
The best advice I have for a new player is: Avoid Backpulling Newer characters will keep on coming for at least 3 more years. Power creep is a real thing in this game, but that's not a bad thing. It's a catch-up mechanism. I can almost guarantee come Schneznaya, you'll be glad to have some extra savings heading into that region. And that region is closer than you think.
Eh, nothing wrong with backpulling. I mean, Zhongli is pretty darn old, and still pretty darn useful. Really, what it comes down to is to pick what DPS you want to play, and then get what that on-fielder wants. And it is there, with that DPS, that you do see the power creep the most. Newer weapons, newer cons, newer DPS, all stronger. Lots of DPS characters. Supports/off-fielders, meanwhile, are less common, but have a home in way more teams.
@@Axterix13 Older characters are viable, but the key problem with Backpulling is resource management. Those who are active enough in the online community to see such a comment from me will be bombarded by the hype for every new character. Backpulling will gate f2p or low spenders from accessing newer characters due to a perception that certain limited supports or DPS are required. And newer characters will need less investment to meet the current needs of the player. Backpulling can also lead to acquiring characters with upcoming upgrades/sidegrades. E.G. grabbing Kazuha on his last rerun with Xilonen coming out.
@@the_knut Depends on the character/role I think. As a new player who grabbed Kazuha, I can't say I care about Xilonen coming out. Grouping and swirling is THE thing I love him for, not his buffing. My only real regret is that I'm really short on DPS now, but Kinich doesn't vibe with me anyway so it can't be helped much aside from pulling the most powercrept archon in the game. Which I'd agree, DPS is where the powercreep seems to be real; and I'd rather just wait and see if Arlecchino comes along soon or something while saving my primos.
@@sprouting_lady Even supports are being powercrept. Since 4.0 both Chevreuse and Furina have shaped meta teambuilding and even Cloud Retainer has thrown in support for plunge. And with 5.0, the new support set is adding more powercreep on supports. My recommendation will always be to save/spend on new characters over old ones. Backpulling should only come from a very deliberate consideration.
I’m not a fan of this video type. Most pull recommendations can’t be generalized into 2-character synergies, so using a tier list format with individual units can be really misleading. It’s not that bad considering you go in depth for each unit, but in the end, it becomes less about which accounts would like these units and more about which characters have at least a team that works with the given 5 star.
At the end of the day, you can make pretty much any team work. He does explain the combos in depth for each 1:1 pairing, not just the two characters in a vacuum, like you said. If you like the character, and their kit, go for it.
Here is my verdict, ar 60 that has most characters, get Xilonen, If like playstyle go whomever you like. If you dont have a proper pyro dps, go for hutao, if you have alhaitham/Chlorinde go get nahida if you dont have one. For cons a must have is c2 Nahida, c1 Hutao, c2 Xilonen. For weapon, if you like xilonen go get her weapon its a pretty good weapom banner, if you guys have zhongli or xiao go for hutaos weapon banner.
@@kingdoom5022 Geo doesnt swirl so will it work with navia? Also I think kazzhuha works better with mualani since he groups enimies making it easier to get 3 stacks and spread pyro to every enemies.
I already pulled Kinich so imma skip Nahida, got Arlecchino so probably will skip Hu Tao even though I don’t want to, already pulled Kazuha so I don’t REALLY need Xilonen (again, as much as I don’t want to skip her) don’t need Chiori, I’d rather pull for Zhongli or keep my crappy poorly built Albedo. Overall skippable banners for me, would rather wait to get Arlecchino’s weapon, Furina’s weapon or Mavuika.
I'd relook at Yae for Xilonen, since she has range so she doesn't care about grouping at all. Especially since you can pair her with Tighnari to share field time and perfect rotations (Haven't tested her with Kinich yet) so she's not tied to Nahida (even if they both like each other).

As a new player with limited resources, I’m planning to pull for Nahida to build a Hyperbloom team. She seems like a solid investment, and I hope she can help me push through the Abyss. I just really hope they put Kuki Shinobu on her banner, because I’m not keen on pulling Riden just for a Hyperbloom setup!
Just lost the 50/50 on the weapon banner AND the character banner, on consecutive 10 pulls. I knew I was close to pity on both and I wanted Raiden's weapon... figured that if I lost the 50/50 then I could at least get Kinich to go with his weapon... but no - I couldn't even win ONE of them. So now I have Kinich's weapon and C1 Dehya. I think that's now SIX weapon 50/50s I've lost in a row - the last one I actually got was Mistsplitter for Ayaka back in 2.6 , two and half years ago.

actually, xilonen could potentially be good for aggravate cyno since her buff lasts twice as long as kazuha's. her c2 makes him able to swap out early and still get his burst back. its probably not better than his quickbloom team but an option to consider
@@leovu8500 even then i believe it would still be kinda short. when accounting for burst animations that eat buff uptime, you're left with about 10ish seconds of buffs which is barely more than half of cyno's uptime

What cope? :D They give the exact same buffs, except it lasts longer for Xilonen and she also sinergises with Furina. You know, the best unit in the game which can make any team work. Also, Cyno doesn't really want more electro application for himself, with enough ER Xilonen is easily better than Kuki or Fischl, the electro res shred she gives matters a lot for an electro main DPS
@@tamas9554 No, she doesn't beat Baizhu's multi wave application. And her being great with Furina means nothing. The only team this would matter on is Itto but she has no synergy with him so, who cares. Most of Furina teams have Bennett in them, and if they don't they have Xianyun who's better for the team or Nuevillette who already maxes out Furina's Fanfare ON HIS OWN! Or Clorinde who sustains herself because of Furina buffing her healing bonus, she may not cap out Fanfare but that doesn't matter since Xilonen wouldn't help with this in this team.
Putting yae in nah for chiori is interesting. One of my favorite teams I consistently clear with is tigh/yae/zl/chiori. Try it out. You just gotta fill a little bit of time with a couple yae normals or a tigh CA, but it's such an easy team. 5 turrets, a big shield, and homing missle arrows.
I'm getting Nahida, and skipping Xilonen. I want both, but Xilonen will rerun way faster than Nahida. I have a bunch of teams to build, and I feel like even if I pull Xilonen, I won't start building her before her rerun. So what's the point.

Absolutely not. Constructs suck. If xilonen had a construct, she would be 10 times worse. I absolutely hate all the geo's who have this piece of shit skill that put a pile of crap in my face and force me to play around it. The only good construct is the one who stays on the character like Noelle's bubble.
Also both weapon banners are quite good, firts phase both weapons are good for both of the characters, second phase has staff of homa and nahidas weapon which also are both great weapons
You missed out on the fact that Zilonen indirectly buffs burning/burgeon. In Emile's case she's a top tier support and piles on more damage potential than Kazuha can.
hi! depressed itto main here! xilonen is SADLY not good for itto (unless u have her C2) because of gorou, itto needs atleast tripple geo, and because xilonen needs like 3 samplers to res shred, and in itto teams, youll have at most 2 (geo then flex slot) for her to be useful, youll need C2, which would have geo samplers always on, meaning u can have 2 geo samplers and then a flex slot sampler.
Xilo: Kazuha for teams he doesn't work in. Very strong. Nahida: Best dendro applyer, lots of damage, must-pull if there is such a thing. Hu Tao: Strong pyro DPS that got many indirect buffs, only superseded with lyney (debatable) and arleccino (undeniable) Chiori: Decent geo sub dps. Very replacable, luxury unit. Overall: Two characters that should be on most accounts and two that are either replacable or no longer the best option.
I've got c2 nahida and c1 hutao. I'm pumped to wish on their weapons. I've never pulled weapon banner before. I'm for sure going for Xelonin. It will be nice to have an extra buffer for each side of the abyss, and also, I don't have zhongli yet, so she will be a perfect fit for my account. She will give my kazuah a break, at least.

I played genshin for about a month or two at the beginning of 3.0. I just came back in 5.0, and I find the hardest part of the game for me is obtaining and building teams to play. At this point, I just feel like I'm missing so many pieces to core teams.
Exactly same here, i managed to get tighnari recently when i started playing again from the selector, now im playing tighnari, fischl, xiangling, kirara but i don't know if this is good or trash
I understand how it might seem that way, but from someone that’s been playing constantly since 1.1, it feels like the team building plateaued around 3.0.
By this, I mean that since then the game has really only added units that are alternative to existing units, rather than adding characters with unique mechanics that are “must pulls”.
They’ve added so many “main DPS” that at this point it’s just pick whichever you like, of course Arlecchino and Neuvillette are great damage dealers that don’t require super specific teams to work.
Otherwise, the characters that are key players for most teams are Zhongli, Kazuha, Xingqiu, and Nahida. These four will help you enable the widest variety of teams. Xilonens not out yet, but she’s looking to be on par with Kazuha.
Otherwise it’s as simple as getting who you like to start out with, and branching out from there.
Keep at it and this problem will quickly fade. Then the problem you'll face will be trying to keep up with the perpetual treadmill to actually building the characters you have 😅

you don't need to go for core team straight away ,just pick 5* who can synergize with 4* first .Something like raiden-ben-xl-chev and nahida-xq-kuki-flex is strong team for new account/players to max star the abyss ...pick a flexible 5* that can play well with 4* first

As an Alhaitham and Navia main attempting to build Chevreuse overload teams, I cannot wait to FINALLY have Nahida. Just like with Raiden , my sad 4.7 self has so many archon shaped holes in my team. When I pulled Raiden it was like going to Narnia with all the possibilities. I have been having SO much fun and I can't wait to have even more fun with Nahida thrown into the mix 🎉

@@neverever1704i am a navia main too! personally i don’t have alhaitham so i don’t see the need for nahida on my acc, so ill be going for xilonen. xilo won’t buff dendro or anemo tho so your alhaitham can’t use her, but having xilo w navia on the other side of the abyss can be 10x better than ningguang or zhongli based on buffs yk? (same reasoning w alhaitham and other dendro supports) but it depends what you wanna run with your navia and alhaitham. i wanna go for xilo to treat my queen-but if i were you i’d still go for xilo but i might be based 🤷♀️

I am skipping Xilonen mostly because I am partial to male characters 🥰 Now that aside, I personally do not think I will enjoy having to use her on field for several seconds to fill up her gauge to get her buffs. For me I know it will feel like I am interrupting myself
As purely a me problem I also have issues with processing visual information in games. I skipped Kinich (and was VERY sad about it) because I cannot tell when his gauge is full or move to his blind spots fast enough and remember to fire the cannon and it just pretzels my brain. I will probably have a similar issue with Xilonen's gauge esp if the grass is the same color. If it wasn't for the fact that Alhaitham's attacks have EXTREMELY well designed audio effects that let me tell immediately by sound how many mirrors he has, he would be impossibly difficult for me.
Lastly, for overload I have Chevreuse for resistance shred. I still have no Sucrose and I had to skip Kazuha to save my wishes for Raiden and Nahida but I will pick him up if I don't have a Sucrose by the time he's back. Dendro has Deepwood, and Zhongli has universal res shred. So Xilonen isn't going to be unique enough to justify my limited gems for my account at this point in time.
Since I have no Archons I am prioritizing my gems for the archon marathon. Hopefully I can get Mauvika, Zhongli, furina, and Nahida. And if I have enough left for Neuvillette that would be nice and if wrio actually isn't a collective hallucination, I'd use my first time double top up on him 🥺

I need them for Arle overload/Mono pyro, Raiden Overload, Wrio Reverse Melt and now with Xilonen I would have to ditch my Navia-Xianyun plunge and bring in Bennet/Xiangling. This dilemma needs to be studied I tell you.

I really hate how bait Chiori’s C1 is, I hate that I’m tempted to get her C1. I pulled her because I like her, but she’s been benched since then, just accumulating cracked Golden Troupe pieces but not using them at all. It will be a lot easier to find a use for her if I can pair her with more Geo Characters. I actually don’t think Hoyo is going to give us more construct characters anymore, they want to bait the C1.
It's not about just the c1 itself, but more about they are making a problem and selling the solution in the form of a constellation. That geo construct restriction shouldnt be there in the first place
you can just make double Geo Melt or Vape teams using Geo Traveler or Kachina. Or use her in the overworld, not everything needs to be meta.

Now to lastly point out mathmetically, let's say in an Navia team the difference between C0 v C1 Chiori will be 5-10% Team DPS wise i assume/depending team/investment of other chars/Chiori. That's an avrg estimate amount for most ppl,for some maybe it will be as high as 15-20% i guess.. Not that common,nor is that significant if we go by standards of "Cons of chars in general". Especially newer generation cons than past yrs..
(Am not a TCer and haven't done maths but i can very well assume similar numbers as an experienced enough player)
Literally many characters both dps/off field sub dps all have cons ,especially c1 or c2 that range from 5-10% to 20-30% even for a con of DPS inc..,it's not rare enough to the point only Chiori is the highlighted talk. Lastly another example is literally Yelan, an old enough char too and a top meta one too, her C1 is indirectly just lowering her energy needs massive, this could lead to use offensive weapons/ HP sands over ER sands/ER weapons.. Also build more crits ,hp than ER in build.. All that leading to nothing but DPS inc only.. ,her usual way to go at C0 is Fav with HP sands and Aqua isn't always the best choice,sure u can go for it in double hydro but even then need decent ER at C0. Sure i won't lie Aqua Yelan with Emblem of 200% er on C0 will be more Dps than Fav Yelan with HP sands but it's not as high,let alone solo hydro teams also need way more ER,whereas Fav build can smoothly run Solo hydro with HP sands..
All this to say, Chiori C1 is good n all but overrated,and ppl often underestimate how C0 Chiori is also very strong(not saying shes meta or anything but just saying she's not trash at C0 and suddenly becomes op at C1..
Sure it's a shame Xilonen doesn't have a Construct, their duo wouldve been even stronger bur alas.. Sadge i guess lol

I kinda think you undervalued her for Ayaka and Itto. Since xilonen provides 0 off-field geo application, she won't trigger shatter. And with Itto slotting in xilonen and furina, then replacing gorou with yelan or bennett, while not traditional, is theoretically better just because of the massive amounts of buffs and off-field damage.

kazuha is still better than her for ayaka because of ayaka's reliance on good grouping in AoE to keep enemies frozen and packed together throughout her burst duration, and in single target, ayaka shouldn't be your first choice bring anyway

Way to liberal with your "nah" placements. For any character that deals damage that scales with dmg% or resistance reduction, (besides anemo or dendro) Xilonen is at least a decent option.
I will be playing her in monocryo. Maybe get that c2 for 60% crit damage for all other characters.
I havent been so hyped from a design perspective since Yoimiya, i REALLY love the Gyaru/blond style in anime so Xilonen it's a must pull for me and even better knowing shes a top tier support.
Honestly, I'm not interested in most of the natlan characters. Even if they're super strong, I don't want to nor plan on pulling for most of them. I don't know if I've been less hyped for new characters since before Sumeru came out. Chiori seems like a nice pull to me, though.
it's the fire energy mechanic. it's deflating to know half of their mechanics don't work right outside of natlan. it's really discouraged me from drawing on natlan characters.

You're undervaluing Ayaka as is usual nowadays. I've been an Ayaka main for years and I can tell you a healer Kazuha is a godsend. My favorite Ayaka team was yelan Kazuha shenhe for a long time. But it has no healer. Had to pull Kokomo which in my opinion isn't that fun to use in freeze and losing yelan sucks. If Kazuha healed...? Oh boy wouldn't that be good. Now we have furina. So it's mandatory to get rid of Kazuha or shenhe. But Xilonen? You get the best of all worlds. And even if none of this was the case.. she's literally another Kazuha and she doesn't get off field geo. OF COURSE she's good for Ayaka and literaly any other cryo dps. But of course, the narrative that cryo freeze and Ayaka suck
Ayaka wants the grouping, though, so Shenhe probably be the one who gets the boot. Which, well, shouldn't surprise anyone, since she was always the 4th slot character, the one that added the least value to the team.
i was also an ayaka main. i thougth that xianyun would ve an upgrade (ayaka, furina c2, shnehe an xianyun), but, as its said, the team needs the grouping. xianyun is not confy enought

Hu Tao with Xingqiu, Furina, and Charlotte is an insanely fun and comfy team. The defensive application along with the frequent freezing means that very little will be a threat to them. The rotation is also super easy, with no need to worry about whether Hu Tao vapes or melts. The damage will be high enough to get you through most damage checks no problem.

if you dont have Xianyun, Xilonen Bennett Furina is his best team, but we are so close to Lantern Rite that you could wait to pull Xianyun there tbh, what Xilonen do open for Gaming is Melt Teams, but while they get better than right now, they are still not better than the core I previously commented

@@fortytwo4331 I personally dont like play Xianyun with VV because the Gaming setup is annoying to do, im using her on TTDS + Song Past and is less DMG than a correct VV setup, but just a little worse according to optimizer, but Song Past is 100% uptime and guaranteed to be active and is still better than Xilonen *for me*

You should consider ranking sub-dps together in this list. Xilo was made precisely to reduce resistance for 2, 3 characters, otherwise it's not even worth getting her, it would be easier to just farm VV
As Nahida is the only one out of these 4 that I have, I can only give info about her.
As someone who used that team for a while, C0 Raiden works really nicely with Nahida. No need to be torn about it. After Nahida came out, with some time, this became my 2nd go to team in the abyss (Raiden hyperbloom, with Raiden herself being the driver, Yelan and Nahida being the dendro/hydro application, and 1 slot for extra elemental checks, or for Xingqiu/Fischl, depending on what was needed.) Only thing is, that after Neuvillette came out, and I got him, he kind of took over as my strongest DPS unit, even stronger than my pretty damn invested melt Ganyu. So dendro only stayed as an option as Hyperbloom Neuvillette with the Nahida + Raiden + Furina team. But even there, they work really nicely together.
As you've mentioned as well, I relied on hyperbloom damage a lot mostly because I have only a handful of 5 star weapons, as I never once wished on the weapon banner. With the wise words of general Ackbar: "It's a trap!"
As for how effective Nahida is with teams other than Raiden/Neuvillette:
I did try Nilou Bloom with a borrowed Nilou in Imaginarium Theater once, it worked nicely, but I'm not sure wether it's due to Nahida's awesome dendro application, or that Nilou's insane build.
For Clorinde, I always put Nahida on the team, and it's always nice to have extra damage from reactions (aggravate mostly), but my favourite supports for Clorinde are characters like Yelan/Xingqiu, who have coordinated attacks with her. Maybe even Fischl if you have her on C6. Nahida is a great option for Clorinde for sure, it just doesn't feel as amazing, because there are less numbers popping off when you're beating up opponents with any of the previous 3 missing.
I never really built my Tighnari properly, so I can't say anything about his damage output, or best teams, I'll believe Jello on that one, the only lace I ever used mine was in the Imaginarium Theatre, and even there, only for the tower deffense stage, against the ruin guards, because he's an archer, who could stun them for a long time. (I do have his BiS 4 star event weapon though, that thing hits almost as hard as Amos' bow (even on Ganyu, depending on the team and enemy, which was surprising). Maybe even harder, depending on the team/build.)
1 extra team I could recommend, is Yae Miko, Nahida, Furina, with whoever you so choose for the 4th slot, as this team can hyperbloom your opponents even if you're just running around. Pretty handy for one of the Natlan local legend achievements.
Note: how is Bennett not BiS for Hu Tao? I always tought her best team is Hu Tao / Yelan / Furina / Bennett
Anyway, I'mma pull myself a Xilonen, and hope for the best to gather enough pulls for Mavuika after, even if I have to skip Chaska this way. It kind of hurts, that Xilonen, Chaska, and Mavuika, the 3 characters I was hoping to get the most, are on consecutive patches. As a f2p, I can't really gather primogems fast enough, unless I win all the 50/50's...

@@jayasuriya2606 I'd probably recommend Xilonen for any teams other than aggravate, Nolou Bloom, or Hyperbloom.
Aggravate isn't really on top nowadays, heck, I never even liked it, and without Alhaitham, it probably won't be on top anyway.
Xilonen however is very versatyle, and can fit on a ton of teams. You said you have father, so her, Benny, Xilonen, and Kazuha perhaps could be an amazing team. As Kazuha's and Xilonen's buffs stack with one another, similarly they stack with Benny, so they can buff up father to oblivion and beyond. If you lack one of them, let's say Kazuha, on such a team, you could always replace him with Furina/Yelan/Xingqiu to make it into a vape Arlecchino team, with insane buffs.

@@AverageRNGHater I'm not using Keqing much, heck, I didn'teven bring her into the Imaginarium Theatre, but I do believe that aggravate is one of her stronger teams, and aggravate needs a ton of off-field dendro application, in which, Nahida is the best. However, there are other options that can also work well with her, like Baizhu, Yaoyao, Kirara (less effective, needs her burst), even Collei (only her burst though) or Dendro Traveler (again, burst only).
Alternatively, you can try slotting in a Furina/Yelan/Xingqiu with them, to make it into a hyperbloom team, which are always srong, but in that scenario, Keqin's elemental mastery would become an exceptionally important factor for the team.

I'm not sure if I'll pull for any of these characters, but I'm mainly torn between Chiori and Nahida, since Chiori is very pretty and also makes for one of the only decent Albedo teams, but also Nahida is more universal and also super cute and baby and I could do some Ayato stuff with her or maybe even Klee so idk
Nahida is absolutely busted, she enables so much fun comps. She is objectively the better pull, BUT if you like Chiori more get her. Nothing is worth more than your enjoyment.
I would recommend Zhongli as BiS for Hu Tao, especially for those who want to pull for her this coming patch. I became as one of the beginning Hu Tao mains when I pulled for her, and I'm struggling so much without Zhongli. Hayst. (Skill issues sorry)
If you have Zhongli, try to pull and build Hu Tao. She is so strong, believe me 😊
The only reason why i want xilonen, besides her design is the fact that i got so annoyed having to swirl the right elements..
In the end kazuha is just made for grouping in my teams and i just go unga bunga with whichever i swirl..
Edit: to anyone saying it's skill issue.. Sure you can say whatever.. But i always do get the swirl correct.. It is not about i can or cannot swirl the correct element.. It is about hoe much of a hassle swirl is and the duration it has..

To the others saying she still needs to crystallize properly, atleast even if you don't crystallize properly her shred is still there, meanwhile Kazuha needs to swirl the right element just for his buffing from kit and shredding from artifact to work.
What you have is a skill issue and that can't be fixed by switching supports.

But if you wanna consider team dmg and still play Ning, you can play Navia and Ning dual carry. It's not Navia best team (specially considering Xilonen now), but it's the best team dmg while still using Ning as a Carry.

Xilonen's actually the best option for Nahida Furina Quickbloom teams, because she's the only one who can both build fanfare and res shred through nahida's dendro aura. Your Furina, Nahida, and Electro Carry will all be doing very good personal damage, plus you'll get some decent hyperblooms. Really strong in both single target and AOE. Raiden, Yae, Keqing, Chlorinde, Sethos, and Cyno will all perform quite well here.
First half of this patch is such an easy skip for me sadly. I'm annoyed seeing Chiori rerunning on a banner already when she was just debuting on 4.6 and I had zero interest in her or her kit back then so it's an even bigger skip now when I think Zhongli should've been opposite Xilonen instead. I'd so much rather see one of Hoyo's forgotten 5* cryos actually be let out from the basement. Only reason I'm possibly pulling on the second half weapons banner is if 5.2 reruns don't interest me in the slightest, which I'm not holding my breath for any of the characters I really want more cons of actually showing up anytime soon.

Ugh I was not rolling for Xilonen but she is looking mighty fine. Those booty shorts and tail are killing me. Plus her kit looks super useful. IEspecially on the other side in abyss. I would immediately replace Kazuha in my Arlecchino and Mualani teams for starters. Her animations are smooth and fluid. She looks like a blast in open world. I already have the other characters so she is my only option this patch. I am eagerly awaiting details on Mavuikas kit.

coming back to genshin for the first real time after inazuma dropped and seeing you say that my Hu Tao, Ayaka, Zhong and Xing team is outdated made me feel so much pain. Getting gated by resources to make a new team is killing me, especially one that keeps up with my, admittedly lacking, but still great Hu Tao damage, has been soooo painful.
Im a Noelle main and I really dont know what to do and many guides dont tell me about it.
Ive been using noelle(c6)-furina(c2)-chiori-yelan and with kachina I replaced yelan for natlan stuff which felt great cause she activates chiori.
But i dont know if i should go for chiori C1 or xilonen to better my noelle team.
I love the Noelle love. If it's just for this team, you won't need Chiori c1 really since its best value comes with being able to slot her with non-construct teams and you already have Kachina. For Xilonen, you get a geo Natlan support, which would replace Kachina or Chiori. If you replace Kachina, you won't get Xilonen heals (but not necessary since you're maining Noelle) and if you replace Chiori, more of your team damage will come from Noelle. You actually have some flexibility here, but my guess for strongest damage team would be Noelle, Furina, Xilonen, Yelan.
Honestly with a C2 Furina you can probably slot it whoever and it’ll work, provided your Noelle has enough ER. Have at least one person on Fav I’d say

The only right answer is Chiori. If you already have her, then get her C1. If you already have it, then get her signature weapon. If you're too based and already have that, then get any other character.

Chiori C1 is a dumbass bait. Legit having to buy a constellation to fix an incomplete character at C0. I'd rather get a whole different character like Xilonen, Furina, Clorinde, Neuvillette, Mualani, Kinich, etc,etc,etc that works extremely well at C0.

I startet playing on Neuvillette rerun and got him, Arlecchino, Furina(c1) and Kazuha, since then i was able to 36 star the last 2 Abyss without sig. weapons only f2p. I also got Bennet, Xingqiu and Xiangling c6 in those Banners which made it a lot easier. I want to build something new so i will be going for Nahida.

For me, who loves to play Itto, Xilonen looks like a good pick...
And that's mainly to give better options for him. Xilonen's 36% shred and 40% elemental damage boost (with cinder city) more than makes up for the loss of Gorou's 15% geo boost, 40% crit damage and extra flat defense.
... And then you can just throw in Furina or Yelan to further boost damage, and maybe Raiden as a sub-dps and battery ...or just whatever you need for the elemental shields you'll face.

I need more healers. geo and pyro healers are kinda priority for me right now as they are the shortest supply. I need a true pyro healer and sadly Chevreuse being locked to overload limits her viability and That is the only true pyro healer option so I hope for another to come to exist and as for Geo it's kinda Noelle and As far as I can tell Garou is mono geo locked sadly so Geo needs a true healer as well. Xilonen is useful but I would hardly say she is a must have. People have said Yelan is a must have and I have felt no loss in not having her at all.

Other than that, i'm just looking for movement mechanics in that land that helped me get across the map better.

I've been wanting chiori since forever so Imma pull for her regardless. Also like, I play this game more for fun more than meta. Like I'm alr happy being able to clear abyss. I don't feel the need to 36 star.
Edit: I talked abt this to my friend also, then he said I should pull for who I like. Then as for xilonen, I can pull for her when her rerun comes. Cuz, her rerun is definitely going to come before another chiori rerun
Disagree with Clorinde. The biggest annoyance with Kazuha is multiwaves and Clorinde is locked in for her skill. Xilonen circumvents that. Clorinde uses the same team styles than dps Raiden but better i.e. aggravate, hyper, overload and taser which Xilonen would help with all.

Nah chevreuse exist and she provides so much buffs at c0:

Chiori is probably my favourite character in Genshin. So I'm excited to upgrade her to C1R1 hopefully
The best advice I have for a new player is: Avoid Backpulling
Newer characters will keep on coming for at least 3 more years. Power creep is a real thing in this game, but that's not a bad thing. It's a catch-up mechanism.
I can almost guarantee come Schneznaya, you'll be glad to have some extra savings heading into that region. And that region is closer than you think.

Eh, nothing wrong with backpulling. I mean, Zhongli is pretty darn old, and still pretty darn useful.
Really, what it comes down to is to pick what DPS you want to play, and then get what that on-fielder wants. And it is there, with that DPS, that you do see the power creep the most. Newer weapons, newer cons, newer DPS, all stronger. Lots of DPS characters. Supports/off-fielders, meanwhile, are less common, but have a home in way more teams.
@@Axterix13 Older characters are viable, but the key problem with Backpulling is resource management.
Those who are active enough in the online community to see such a comment from me will be bombarded by the hype for every new character.
Backpulling will gate f2p or low spenders from accessing newer characters due to a perception that certain limited supports or DPS are required.
And newer characters will need less investment to meet the current needs of the player.
Backpulling can also lead to acquiring characters with upcoming upgrades/sidegrades. E.G. grabbing Kazuha on his last rerun with Xilonen coming out.
@@the_knut Depends on the character/role I think. As a new player who grabbed Kazuha, I can't say I care about Xilonen coming out. Grouping and swirling is THE thing I love him for, not his buffing. My only real regret is that I'm really short on DPS now, but Kinich doesn't vibe with me anyway so it can't be helped much aside from pulling the most powercrept archon in the game. Which I'd agree, DPS is where the powercreep seems to be real; and I'd rather just wait and see if Arlecchino comes along soon or something while saving my primos.
@@sprouting_lady Even supports are being powercrept. Since 4.0 both Chevreuse and Furina have shaped meta teambuilding and even Cloud Retainer has thrown in support for plunge. And with 5.0, the new support set is adding more powercreep on supports.
My recommendation will always be to save/spend on new characters over old ones. Backpulling should only come from a very deliberate consideration.

I’m not a fan of this video type. Most pull recommendations can’t be generalized into 2-character synergies, so using a tier list format with individual units can be really misleading. It’s not that bad considering you go in depth for each unit, but in the end, it becomes less about which accounts would like these units and more about which characters have at least a team that works with the given 5 star.
At the end of the day, you can make pretty much any team work. He does explain the combos in depth for each 1:1 pairing, not just the two characters in a vacuum, like you said. If you like the character, and their kit, go for it.

Here is my verdict, ar 60 that has most characters, get Xilonen, If like playstyle go whomever you like. If you dont have a proper pyro dps, go for hutao, if you have alhaitham/Chlorinde go get nahida if you dont have one. For cons a must have is c2 Nahida, c1 Hutao, c2 Xilonen. For weapon, if you like xilonen go get her weapon its a pretty good weapom banner, if you guys have zhongli or xiao go for hutaos weapon banner.
Xilonen is overpowered for this game, if you have kazuha and can clear most content you don't need her at all, unrequited unit

Overall skippable banners for me, would rather wait to get Arlecchino’s weapon, Furina’s weapon or Mavuika.

I'd relook at Yae for Xilonen, since she has range so she doesn't care about grouping at all. Especially since you can pair her with Tighnari to share field time and perfect rotations (Haven't tested her with Kinich yet) so she's not tied to Nahida (even if they both like each other).

Hutao benefits massively form all of this not by a little like other dps xilonen still need to be released tho to see how much difference does she make compared to cloud retainer and all of these are indirect and not a dedicated support made for hutao so yeah 👍🏿

As a new player with limited resources, I’m planning to pull for Nahida to build a Hyperbloom team. She seems like a solid investment, and I hope she can help me push through the Abyss. I just really hope they put Kuki Shinobu on her banner, because I’m not keen on pulling Riden just for a Hyperbloom setup!

20 pulls for next 50/50, glad I got 2 copies of Chev (to C6) without getting Kinich.

Just lost the 50/50 on the weapon banner AND the character banner, on consecutive 10 pulls.
I knew I was close to pity on both and I wanted Raiden's weapon... figured that if I lost the 50/50 then I could at least get Kinich to go with his weapon... but no - I couldn't even win ONE of them. So now I have Kinich's weapon and C1 Dehya.
I think that's now SIX weapon 50/50s I've lost in a row - the last one I actually got was Mistsplitter for Ayaka back in 2.6 , two and half years ago.

actually, xilonen could potentially be good for aggravate cyno since her buff lasts twice as long as kazuha's. her c2 makes him able to swap out early and still get his burst back. its probably not better than his quickbloom team but an option to consider
@@leovu8500 even then i believe it would still be kinda short. when accounting for burst animations that eat buff uptime, you're left with about 10ish seconds of buffs which is barely more than half of cyno's uptime
@@leovu8500 But the problem isn't just Kazuha on that team, the problem is also Fischl, or Sara, whoever you choose as your last slot. So like, it really makes no difference that she can support that team.

They give the exact same buffs, except it lasts longer for Xilonen and she also sinergises with Furina. You know, the best unit in the game which can make any team work. Also, Cyno doesn't really want more electro application for himself, with enough ER Xilonen is easily better than Kuki or Fischl, the electro res shred she gives matters a lot for an electro main DPS
@@tamas9554 No, she doesn't beat Baizhu's multi wave application. And her being great with Furina means nothing. The only team this would matter on is Itto but she has no synergy with him so, who cares. Most of Furina teams have Bennett in them, and if they don't they have Xianyun who's better for the team or Nuevillette who already maxes out Furina's Fanfare ON HIS OWN! Or Clorinde who sustains herself because of Furina buffing her healing bonus, she may not cap out Fanfare but that doesn't matter since Xilonen wouldn't help with this in this team.
Putting yae in nah for chiori is interesting.
One of my favorite teams I consistently clear with is tigh/yae/zl/chiori. Try it out. You just gotta fill a little bit of time with a couple yae normals or a tigh CA, but it's such an easy team. 5 turrets, a big shield, and homing missle arrows.
I'm getting Nahida, and skipping Xilonen. I want both, but Xilonen will rerun way faster than Nahida.
I have a bunch of teams to build, and I feel like even if I pull Xilonen, I won't start building her before her rerun. So what's the point.

Absolutely not. Constructs suck. If xilonen had a construct, she would be 10 times worse. I absolutely hate all the geo's who have this piece of shit skill that put a pile of crap in my face and force me to play around it. The only good construct is the one who stays on the character like Noelle's bubble.
Also both weapon banners are quite good, firts phase both weapons are good for both of the characters, second phase has staff of homa and nahidas weapon which also are both great weapons
You missed out on the fact that Zilonen indirectly buffs burning/burgeon. In Emile's case she's a top tier support and piles on more damage potential than Kazuha can.
hi! depressed itto main here! xilonen is SADLY not good for itto (unless u have her C2)
because of gorou, itto needs atleast tripple geo, and because xilonen needs like 3 samplers to res shred, and in itto teams, youll have at most 2 (geo then flex slot)
for her to be useful, youll need C2, which would have geo samplers always on, meaning u can have 2 geo samplers and then a flex slot sampler.
Xilo: Kazuha for teams he doesn't work in. Very strong.
Nahida: Best dendro applyer, lots of damage, must-pull if there is such a thing.
Hu Tao: Strong pyro DPS that got many indirect buffs, only superseded with lyney (debatable) and arleccino (undeniable)
Chiori: Decent geo sub dps. Very replacable, luxury unit.
Overall: Two characters that should be on most accounts and two that are either replacable or no longer the best option.
As much as I like first half, the second half is what I'm lacking. Both Nahida's lamp and Staff of Hu so as long as I get one of this, I'm fine.
If you have a artifact defense curse like me, chiori is gonna be super strong
I've got c2 nahida and c1 hutao. I'm pumped to wish on their weapons. I've never pulled weapon banner before. I'm for sure going for Xelonin. It will be nice to have an extra buffer for each side of the abyss, and also, I don't have zhongli yet, so she will be a perfect fit for my account. She will give my kazuah a break, at least.

Xilonen Mualani Xiangling and Lynette might work decently. People like Lynette with Kinich with Pyro so eh. Worth a shot.
