Fantastic advice and execution. I wish more folks were seeing content like this and realizing you don't have to till 10 acre plots with equipment. Hell, I just planted 3 by shoulder bag, and those two plots are literally two of the most successful plots ive personally ever grown. I put 150# of rye( grain) and 150# of triple 20 down, and it's looking like an overgrown golf course just two weeks later. We can still create some serious tonnage with a disk and elbow grease!
You and me!!! In the Eastern Pandhandle of WV we are in an historic drought. The weatherman promised a real good rain so I got my wheat and clover in and then no rain. He must have kept it for himself. He killed my plot I tell you! I kept the rye for overseeding, but won't seed it till a hurricane maybe to make sure it rains. Good video.
@@thebadboo4875KY didn't get any hurricane rains either and I threw me off, I didn't plant luckily but looks like this Tuesday we supposed to get something so maybe you will too! Good luck! I know my brassicas need it bad
Nice looking food plots. Got one planted a little over a week ago. Used my 140 and disc and we drug it with a drag that wasn't as nice as yours. It's starting to come up now after we got some rain. Thanks for sharing the video and good luck hunting. Yes sir God is good.
Hello from (Maine North Woods Hunter) I just subscribed to your channel. I am really curiouse to see what happens in this plot comparison. Please keep us informed on the progress.
get yourself a bag seeder and find an old farm gate to wire that fencing on to you can add weight with a log it makes a great drag, no way would i want to spread that much seed by hand, implements have doubled in price since covid luckily i have been collecting mine over the years

Yes I sure would like to see an update in 2-3 weeks because I just put down cowpeas, oats and rye in the lowcountry. I need a comparison
I will do a update but I need rain right now.
Good luck this year!!

Not clover, but oats I meant. My established clover plots are okay with lots of nursing.

Should do the job. The big boys will come running when the plot turns green. Thanks Sam.
Hope so!
