I just ordered new furniture from macys a couch and 2 recliners they came in a week you really have to shop around and ask the waiting time I called several places till I found when that delivers in a reasonable time frame
Some people hang their bikes vertically from a super heavy duty hook from the joist in the ceiling. Then they are more compact and saves floor space. Almost like they are standing.

Hi Arika. I hope by this time Jaxson is back to 100% and no one else got it. I’m 71 Yrs old and bought the shelving units u bought and I put it together myself😁…. At first I thought it would b hard but I saw the box said no tools required! Bingo!! I love my shelves and now my daughter is buying some too. Thank you for telling us about them! Enjoyed this video! I’m glad Jackson is on the mend! My oldest son (Jeremy) got CV19 last July. Positive on Monday, in the hospital by Saturday. On a ventilator by the next Wednesday. No pre-existing conditions. Completely healthy 41 year old. He was on the ventilator for 2 months. He was the sickest of 21 patients on the CV unit, according to the doctors. It was touch and go for a while. The doctor said it could go either way. My other son and I went to the hospital as soon as Jeremy was out of isolation, and laid hands on him and prayed over him. He was still in a drug-induced coma at that time. The very next day, he started improving. So much, that the doctor held the paralytics and sedation drugs, and he started waking up that same day! The doctors and nurses said the word “miracle” so many times while he was there after that! He went from that hospital to a long term care hospital to wean off of the ventilator and feeding tube. All in all, he spent 3 months in hospitals, but God healed him and I just want people to have hope in a Savior that hears our prayers and sees our tears. My son is a walking testimony as to God’s Grace! This is the 2nd child of mine God has rescued! My daughter (Rachel) is 15 years cancer-free! God is so awesome!

Oh Arika so sorry that Jaxson came down with that Rona virus. It sure is a crazy time. I was watching you sort thru your pictures and it reminded me of my husband and I. He recently lost his parents and we had to go thru their things. Soooo many pictures!! We scanned them onto an external hard drive. We copied some to thumb drives to give to other family members. Have you thought of a shed for the pool stuff and bikes.?It gave us so much more room in the basement and garage. As for furniture, there is an incredible back log for sure. But sometimes it’s worth the wait to get what we really would like. Love checking in with you , wish you all well.

The supply issue is so discouraging! I ordered my dining room table New Year’s Day, and was told it would be in February 1st. They finally called me on 2/10 and said it would be another month!!😞

I suggest you look at a suede type of material for your couch. I think it might be called microfiber. That material has no weave so it would stand up to all your pets. I have a brown couch with a chaise that can be moved to either side. My dogs like to sit on the back on top like your dogs. That's the only thing that I don't like, is that the pillows on top are squished down. This material is very easy to clean. Even though we don't sit on it too much, I still put thin blankets on it to keep it clean as long as possible. I have cleaned it once with my shampooer and it looked brand new again so I would definitely recommend this type of material for your next couch.
Yes! Our last couches were microfiber. It was very easy to keep clean.😀

I got my new small sectional from wayfair. And originally it said 8 weeks but it was arrived in 3! And I have loved it!!!!
In an effort to save your replaceable photos, you should move them away from the window. They can fade or discolor. It would be best if you put them in an area of the basement that is not damp.
Yes I agree. I’ve lost a few pictures because of storing them in my basement. It helped after we got a dehumidifier and I used those moisture absorbing container things from Dollar Tree.
I bet my kids would like that watermelon minute maid. I may need to look for that!
You should try contacting Ruggable and see if they will sponsor a video for a washable rug for your craft room. I bought a 5x7 for my house with 4 cats and 2 dogs and absolutely LOVE it!

First so glad Jaxon is feeling better! Toys … our girls toys are in the attic along with a ton of school papers lol that may be a spring project before it gets too hot. Basement…geesh… we will have to do a section at a time or we will get majorly overwhelmed but have agreed to take a couple hours a weekend until we get it done lol wish us luck!! The nachos looked great!! I’m hungry but not. New BS med has killed my appetite. Not complaining lol

Watching you work in your basement sorting photo"s and old toys made me realize something for the first time...years ago I lost a ton of things in a flood and I always mourned them, now that I'm a senior I wouldn't have the energy to sort and stack as you were doing and I felt a weight release inside that it was all okay, I still have my happy memories and I don't need the things anymore, thank you!

Arika if you can find a furniture store that has a warehouse in your area you can usually go to the furniture store and buy it and then go to the warehouse and pick it up. Ashley allows you to do this. I get all my furniture from Rooms To Go but I don’t know if they allow you to do this. I am so sorry to hear Jaxon had Covid. I hope he is doing much better with no after effects from it. You really got a lot done in the basement. I swear I would have to find a wall somewhere and display some of those old pictures somewhere. Especially the ones with the kids. The ones you showed us was gorgeous. Have a great week my friend. I had the flu last week and then got co vid. I was off work for almost 2 weeks. Husband got sick with horrible cough and snotty nose and what ever else. Not sure if he had covid but he had no symptoms. I still have no taste or smell. Hopefully that will come back. You certainly do accomplish alot everyday. Your basement is looking good! I have our stuff in our attic in addition to some of my parents’ stuff. I read an article that children (grown) don’t want to inherit “stuff” like they used to years ago. It’s kinda sad. How can I enjoy it if I can’t display it? So it sits, packed away 😕. I am going to make a shadow box with one of my mom’s handwritten recipes, a kitchen towel and some kitchen utensils of hers I saved ❤️.

I take pictures of the things to remember but to make room for other things 👍🏼💜 I also just took my picts out of the frames and got rid of three bins I had for storing frames! Just save the picts you don’t have displayed and goodwill the frames that take up space. 😊💕
