- I was in the hospital for 4 days to undergo Cardiac Catheterization and Transesophageal Echocardiography.

2. The hospital food there looks pretty decent - food in North American hospitals is generally quite awful!
3. A great health care system in Japan (great idea to show the final bill!) - pretty good in Canada too.

I have to do a heart cath as well just as like a checkup, those are pretty routine but yes Japan has the number 1 cardiac care in the world. Glad you are doing well little bro

A long time ago, I took a speech class in my first year of college and chose the topic of bananas. Like you, I pointed out what a good source of potassium they are. Now, every time I eat a banana, I think of potassium and that speech. So, my advice is never give a speech on bananas, but in your case, it may be too late, as you have established the link between bananas and potassium and probably your hospital visit, and memorialised it on video. Oh well, at least it will be a memory that turned out well, and you created a great 'documentary' of a visit to a Japanese hospital - thank you!

It does something to you (when so young and tender) to be forced to face mortality. Your saviors, oddly, become your "also captors." A type of Stockholm Syndrome, can emerge. As a result, you: yourself, may entertain the notion of being a doctor. That exercise of mental gymnastics, may turn your "scary experience" into positive action. You would make an excellent medical person, you are so kind, gentle, intelligent... and would be fine pediatrician, as you and your brothers are very loving and considerate of each other.
