    Why are all ASMRtists obsessed with cranial nerve examination? I never went through this test in my entire life. Never even heard about it before I started watching ASMR.

      @hellaeric10 7 років тому +32

      LolGuy It's like tingle heaven. The procedure revolves around face touching, but then you have flashlight, hand movements, whispering (of course), ear to ear movement, and a whole lot more I can't think of because I'm so relaxed just thinking about it. IRL, the cranial nerve exam is used if you suspect brain damage.

    • @chandlerdawson7700
      @chandlerdawson7700 7 років тому +5

      LolGuy they involve many different triggers all rolled into one video, with the added bonus of a plot that actually makes sense for all these triggers. it's like an eye exam and an ear exam and a routine physical all rolled into one (all of which are roleplays that ASMRtists do)

      I just had a test very similar to this one after I had a riding accident and the doctor checked if I have any brain damage😂 Hopefully I will have this experience only for ASMR again😅 (sry for bad spelling or grammar mistakes😂) greetings from Germany❤

    I like how with the tactile and olfactory tests (the syringe and lime), you told/showed us what to expect (i.e. sharp scratch, lime/smell of lime) and let our brains imagine the rest. I've seen other ASMR Cranial Nerve exam vids where the person would just have a jar or some unspecified scented oils and I wasn't sure what smells I should be imagining myself smelling.

    This was a good video but one thing I didn't like was that you sounded very automated, it sounded like you were reading from a script and just not showing any emotion but the video was good overall

    • @jcp100
      @jcp100 7 років тому +3

      Carter Orr it's because A) it is scripted, B) it's a role play and C) she was role playing a doctor and a doctor doesn't use colloquial language around patients she sounded professional like a doctor

    • @DancesWithBalls
      @DancesWithBalls 7 років тому

      YEAH

    • @chandlerdawson7700
      @chandlerdawson7700 7 років тому +4

      Jackson Purtell while I think it's fair to defend the style of the video, I don't think that you could say she was role-playing a real doctor perfectly. It did sound pretty robotic and scripted (just because a video has a script doesn't mean it has to sound like you're just reading something the whole way through)
      I liked the video though, and actually the very calm, slow, enunciated talking is a trigger for me, so I can definitely believe that the relatively unnatural pacing of the dialogue (is it dialogue if it's just one person?) was entirely intentional.

    If I may make a request, I'd like to see someone change it up a bit and I would like to see a shipping forecast video. Approach it how you may, maybe even do multiple role plays as if you're a shipping company or cruise liner. I believe Scottish is a good move as Americans just won't understand but Brits should do! I can't produce asmr videos so I'll request one from someone I know is great!

      Craig Cummings It's not that hard to understand a Scottish accent. It's hard to understand what the hell an ingerlish is? It's also hard to understand why you're generalizing people but I guess that goes hand in hand with the fact you're referring to people as ingerlish.
