Today I'm making this Lemon Velvet Pound Cake with a delicious Cream Cheese Glaze! So many of you asked for this flavor so here it is!!! I love this bright EGG YELLOW color!!! I forgot I had even recorded this video last month! Smh!!! Watch& Enjoy!😊

INGREDIENTS I USED:
Baked at 325 degrees for 1 hour 25 mins. (Time may vary depending on your cake pan and/or oven.)
3 Cups Cake Flour
3 Cups Sugar
3 Sticks UNsalted Butter (Room Temperature)
5 Large Eggs (Room Temperature)
1 C Whole Buttermilk (Room Temperature)
1/2 Tsp Baking Powder
1/4 Tsp Salt
1 Bottle EGG Yellow Gel Food Coloring
1 Tsp. Creme Bouquet
7 Dropperfuls of LorAnn Chocolate Oil
2-3 Tsps. LorAnn Lemon Bakery Emulsion

Powdered Sugar
Cream Cheese
Coffee Creamer
Creme Bouquet

I love yellow, I love lemon… it’s happy happy happy! I have no doubt this is delicious…I use LorAnn oils for my flavoring and that emulsion is delicious… I use it on a regular basis.

I've never heard of adding chocolate oil - I bet it give a background depth to the lemon, I'll have to try it. The Emulsion is the best! I use it, I have a collection of flavors. I love it!👍
Better late than never!!! Lemon lovers and cake lovers delight! I'm surprised you didn't use real lemons. I'm confused. I switched most of those ingredients to real ones. I'm a Chemistry major and I know for a fact all these additives and preservatives will come back to haunt you. I think you'll find using butter and flour to grease the cake pan result in a fluffier cake...and it also provides a much better flavour and there's not as much (if any) chunks missing when you turn it over. But as you say...it's YOUR cake. Have a great day everyone! A nicer, fluffier beating will result in a lengthy, SLOW beating from the mixer.

Dude #1 may not have been able to tell what the flavor was because of the chocolate oil you put in the cake batter along with the lemon emulsion and the creme bouquet flavoring but the texture of the cake looks velvety. Great job! 😊❤
