This video makes me very happy because it made me realise that i am not actually bad at fighting bosses, the 33rd guy probably trained on fighting radiance 2.0 and didnt do that much of everything else.
@@alentisthz5322 I say it in the video. But fireborn made a video and one of the Reviewers fought Horner for 22 hours. So i made rhe video about that review!
Noahnee: "You're not using focus-cast, right?" Me: "Oh god..." 33rd Guy: "I'd like to make a formal apology to the entire Hollow Knight community..." I guess I have Fireb0rn to thank for mentioning the distinction in one of his speedrunning guides!
While the guy talking about the annoying “5+ screens full of enemies” to get back to a boss is definitely over exaggerating, he does have a point. Some bosses like Hive Knight or Soul Master do have unnecessarily long walks back to them after dying. Those 2 bosses are also coincidentally in areas with some of the most obnoxious enemies in the game (I absolutely despise Soul Twisters fuck those guys).
And Traitor Lord is even worse (though on a recent enough version Dreamgate can mitigate it). I've also seen this complaint levied against Mantis Lord, who also have several screens full of hostiles between the nearest non-locked bench and their fight. I remember reading an article on game difficulty, and how the difficulty of an obstacle is supposed to be balanced by its length, and more importantly, fast retries; putting a difficult platforming section between the checkpoint and a hard boss flies in the face of such balance. Pantheons are even worse in that regard, but at least they aren't required for the good ending.
@@Link-ho8yq Well, in the pantheons you have a realistic chance of beating it in two tries. One attempt to reach the pantheon’s final boss, then just practice and you should be able to beat it on your next try. Of course, it’s not as easy in P5 because you have to go through every single boss in the game for like 35 minutes at least twice and the chance of dying because of a stupid mistake caused by the likely high stress levels is pretty high, but on the other hand, P5 was definitely not designed to be easily beatable.
@@Link-ho8yq Despite what many people say, I think you should actually target the tamer first. She can easily hit you if she times her attack well. Killing her makes the fight much easier, as it allows you to safely pogo the beast to death. As for Daddy Grimm, try to jump in circles during the pufferfish attack (start by jumping away from the flames, then move towards them). He’ll do that attack at 75/50/25% health, so you can use it to know how close you are to killing him. Shape of Unn can actually be pretty useful here, as it allows you to duck under the flame bats while healing, and grants you a lot more healing windows in general. I also recommend using Nailmasters Glory to get in as much damage as possible during your short attack windows. Hope this helps :3 Edit: See if you can find some guides on UA-cam too, they generally have some pretty good advice. I don’t really recommend using the charms suggested in these guides tho, as they are, in my experience, often heavily based on spells, which take soul that you could use for healing instead. I always find it kinda strange that they suggest these builds, like bro, the majority of people are watching this because they’re taking too much damage, and you’re telling them to throw all your hard-earned soul at the boss for some extra damage? Anyways, sorry for the little rant lol :3c Good luck in P3 😏😏😏

This is the best Hollow Knight video on UA-cam
Might be the best video of all time
@@voidlordcluesAgreed
@@voidlordclues one of the best at least
Amazing vid, but my favourite will always be pantheon 5 vs one shitpost
Bro forgot about the Adidas attack
I'm crying, this video is a masterpiece
i hadn't seen such a well edited video in a long time, awesome
Bro is preparing to Speedrun silksong pre-release 💀
First video I’ve seen from yourself but how you only have 4k subs baffles me. The concept, narration and editing are all incredible. You deserve a lot more attention and I can’t wait to see you gain the audience you deserve 👍🏼
I remember taking a while to get my stupid brain around the sticky bits in Hornet 2 that you're apparently supposed to just hit away, that took me a couple hours to do i think, but damn 22 hours that's crazy
25:14 is the tom and jerry scream
Great job on the editing you earned yourself a new sub
hornet
I agree with blep
hornet
hornet
This is so well made I gen got so excited when you broke sub 50
Bro this editing is so good wtf
That moment at 55:38 was so funny
My favorite hornet quote is when she catches the hollow knight and screams :"GIT GUUUUD"
truly my favorite
Bro this felt like a feature film, the editing was top notch. Great work, thanks for making such a banger!
I've been waiting for long, this shall be a show i'll never forget for the ages to come.
show up for the premier then
@@AxtonKincaidILM listen here smart guy, no.
@@talezshadid😂
@@KonzervaTigre 🌮
In other words, it took you 9 days to spend 22 hours
I figured out oversharming instantly for just being stupid and trying to force the sharm in
Love the edits and the vids great over all, great job!!!
Cool challenge and video and all, BUT YOU REALLY BEAT ANY RAD 2.0 WITHOUT QUICKCAST??!
that was my furst thought too.
Yes 😭 😭 😭 😭 😭 😭 😭 😭
This poor guy he got shawed
"so long gay bowser" 26:55
This is really well made! Pleasant watch!
What a great video! Well edited, funny, and all centered around an interesting premise. Keep up the good work buddy :]
Can’t Wait For This Channel Goes Viral!

Bro went away for 9 months to cook this masterpiece up.
Or should I say bro took 9 months to "deliver".
You can boo me i understand
I wanted to give u guys something special
@@the33rdguy this is beyond special you did an amazing job with the video
@@apman1597 thank you thank you thank you. Those words touch my heart like a river through a medow. 😳
I think the commenter was just so mad he accidentally wrote 22 instead of 2 hours
@@TopAsHats oooo good theory.
This is actually insane, I was expecting this to have 300,000+ views. You are so insanely underrated my dude. Keep up the good work, it will pay off eventually, I’m sure of it.
YOU BEAT ANYRAD 2.0 WITHOUT QUICK CAST? WHAT THE FUCK?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!
THE AMOUNT OF EFFORT IN THIS VIDEO!
34:38 after listening to devourer of gods 2nd phase theme for like 50 hours in the past days, I can feel you guy 😔
6:03 if I took 20 hours on hornet I would’ve at least tried the shade skip
Incredibly well-written, funny, and high-quality!
In the words of a wise man, 'Here, take this copy of Kitty Cat Squirt Gun Battle!' I'm sure you'll enjoy it!'
55:53 I can’t not the ukulele 💀😂🤣 day 8 was a whole apology video💀
you mentioned negative reviews in the intro and my mind instantly connected the dots and realized why you fought Hornet for 22 hours
I was enjoying this a lot and then subbed half way then noticed that you only have 4k subs. That is a CRIMEE. The editing is amazing and the jokes are hilarious 🎉
I see we've gone completely mad as a fanbase waiting for silksong, we've resulted to beating up Team Cherry's new protagonist for nearly a day just to prove a point. What's next? Sacrificing HK creators to speed up dev speed?
Who gonna tell him
Now fight massive moss charger for 22 hours
14:14 walk up to her and HUH???
OUTER WILDS MENTIONED !
Your editing is absolutely beautiful
Guys he beated hornet on 11:21 while doing a 1:21 run!1!1!1
