The Podium at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park

In July 2011, the London Legacy Development Corporation selected Make, James Corner Field Operations, Arup, Speirs + Major, Tomato and Piet Oudolf to transform the south section of the Olympic Park into a public pleasure garden. At the centre of this scheme is The Podium, a 1,200 sq m structure hosting ticket offices for the Orbit, a café, private event space and administration functions, with four smaller kiosks dotted along a landscaped pathway.
