I love Buffalo Trace Store Pick's. I will buy a bottle anytime I see one, that is priced correctly of course. The Sib's are a level above the standard Buffalo Trace Bottle's, in my opinion. Great Value for money for me. Glad you had one of these on the channel!
I picked up a 750ml of Buffalo Trace at Walmart during Christmas for $12 🤔🫣😉👍, they probably had a display that had 8-900 bottles on it and I was there 2 days later and they were sold out, that's 1/3 the msrp here in michigan. It was worth the $12 but not a penny more to me 😉👍 Cheers 🥃
Ha, fun review. It seems Massachusetts got a pretty solid group of barrels for Buffalo Trace picks. I have Loch & Key (Julio's) and it is BIZARRE. Fooled friends with it blind. Just does not say classic BT. Even when staring directly at the bottle I just poured it from 😂
Can't go wrong with Buffalo Trace. Vistited the distillery this past October. Very cool place. A buddy brought me back a bottle today from the distillery. It's only available on allocation here in Alabama, so coincidentally lucky to have just got this today! Great review guys. Enjoy the content and your approach on these reviews. No pretense!!
It’s crazy this video came out today…I was looking at what I have left last night to figure out what I am opening after I choke this Rowan’s creek down and found a Buffalo trace binnys store pick that I got well over a year ago…was considering opening it next to get rid of it
It’s 25 in my state same with Weller green is it worth that sure but not a penny more if anyone buys these for more they are being ripped off. I like the Benchmark single barrel over this bottle all day. Just my opinion but the benchmark sits on shelves here we do get BT but if I buy it it’s for a gift to someone who hasn’t ever had it. 🥃🥃🥃
Interesting, your description matches my only experience with a BT 90P SiB Pick. The nose is very good, mostly sweet notes. Not really any oak/barrel notes anywhere. That is my only experience with BT, so don't know if the batched shelfers are different. For 90P, the Russell's 10yr batch from 5/17 to 5/20, 2024 is much better to me, cuz it has a lot of oak/barrel influence to go along with sweetness, with cherry on top. Forgot if you had that RR batch, but I'm sure you heard about them.. The RR 10yr cost a lot more than BT here. $37-40 for RR 10yr & BT is $20-23 with SiB picks usually $27-35 (though found one for $23)

@@silvspeed2 yeah I like to have one around…. Good to throw in blinds since they are so sought after
I've enjoyed Buffalo Trace, every time I've tried it. In Louisiana, it sells for $23.99 for a 750ml.

@@thomasanderson2870 that is a huge deal for that bottle….i can see why they got gobbled up
Buffalo Trace Store picks are much better than regular Buffalo Trace. I paid in Florida Store Pick $24.99.
@@MarkDean-wl3dh a lot of times…. Store picks are better with a lot of whiskey…pending on who is doing the selecting
