The finished product is what everyone always focuses on but I love all the behind the scenes stuff that goes on, it’s always so cool to see how everything comes together
I’m loving this series, I opened my own shop back in August in the UK and this is what I had to do! Just wondering if when it all done that you could do a video of each shop! Id love to see them all updated and an in-depth video of each shop! Keep up the great content 🙌🏻🙌🏻
Dude you set it up to be the look of your brand, those companies signs in your studio I always wanted to have something like this in my shop, I did a small mural but it was ehh,
Sean is 💯 percent right. 5 years ago I opened mine in NY, now actually wanting to downsize and relocate, sometimes you can outgrow your own area- it's crazy to think like that but almost all of the industry BIG timers did it with or without a prior shop- have to be in the action offer value and be able to give yourself to others- that's what it is all about- and getting paid to educate others Is exactly what every single successful and or soon to be successful person dones, you don't have to be like Sean or anyone else to have a great level of success- just raw commitment and get someone elevated motivated and inspired to create
Awesome bro. You are working hard and it’s working out for you to grind like that. Now you can tune in to different focus points. Might head to chi town by Lowes for your G and B release hopefully that’ll be cool if see you then brother be well
What’s ironic is, I have a 2nd job 2 days a week outside the barbershop where I actually do everything in this video. From cabinet and pylon signs all the way to the perforated windows. Just curious about the window perf, Do you put like a QR on there so people can just hit it up with the cameras on there phones, that way it sends them straight to the booking portion?
Hello today I buy a whal magic clip but I make first haircut but blade make so hot can u tell me what I need to do or whers problem or I need to change blade
Hey @seancuts hair I’m currently working as a barber in the Uk and chair rent in my shop is £75 or about $95 a day ! This will also possibly be going up. It is one of the best shops in the area but in comparison to what I’m seeing you and others charge it seems astronomical. Haircuts are also around $30 so I’m just struggling to really make this a serious career. Do you have any advice ? This seems to be the norm for almost all shops around me. I’m 20 so am able to move would you suggest coming to the US to pursue barbering ? If so I would love to get in contact with you.
I more or less charge what my barbers can make on Saturday which is a short day. So they pay basically the price of 8 haircuts. Sounds like you’re getting rent for 3 haircuts so I don’t think that’s bad. Coming over here would be an option but I’d imagine you’d have to do 100% of barber school and licensing as if you were new.

Thanks for helping the barber 💈 community 🙏🏾

You can put anything you want on the windows. We currently don’t have any QR codes but it could be done!
So you mentioned the price on the signage but what was the pricing for the printing company (Midwest)?
nice video man, better tell these boys to get a loan and how to make those payments🤘🏼

Can you do a video on how you got the funding to open a shop
No funding I had half the money and used a 0% interest credit card for the rest
