  • Ken Maynard, Hoot Gibson and Bob Steele, the Trail Blazers, have been summoned to Death Valley to apprehend the gang robbing the stagecoaches of gold shipments. Arriving in town they learn from the Marshal that Jim Kirk, the town;s most-respected citizen has opened is is operating profitably a new gold mine, and learn that none of the stolen gold has ever been recovered. Bob spies an escaped convict and makes him introduce Bob as an outlaw so Bob can join the gang and learn who the leader is. Complications arise when his first assignment is to kill Maynard and Gibson.

    I love any western with Maynard and Hoot Gibson in it. I used to know a full bull in the AF whose nick name was Hoot. Great great. Gosh, I did like and respect him.

    great stuff....as a kid growing up in the 50`s this was just the thing......I remember getting toy six shooters for Christmas.....funny thing ....I never once thought of sticking-up the local 7-eleven......oh well different world back then thanks for posting

      Do you remember the red paper bangers that you loaded them with? JR & SR (1984-1985) school year I carried a gun behind the seat of truck everyday but 3 days. That's when people had common sense and were to poor to be stupid!!

    as a kid i loved the Ken Maynard, Hoot Gibson and Bob Steele, the Trail Blazers. i have reseen all of theirs except westward bound 1944 - hope you can find that one.
