Wow! It is so ODD to watch a western media NOT to demonize China for the first time, which makes me feel a bit uncomfortable! lol…
In China we have being told that it was African brothers who carried PRC into UN at the time. We are a grateful nation, and willing to use our experience to help African countries achieve development.
Very glad to see the African continent is progressing, and I wish all the African people have prosperity and happiness.

Chinese and African are brothers and Sisters. I am so happy that the Chinese became a power house as strong as the white man and most important is taking a different approach to helping their brothers and sisters in Africa. Racism is not an easy thing to get rid of because of the past but i pray that Africa and China become closer relation than any other race. Also i pray Africa will focus on Education and embracing the skills and knowledge they gain from the Chinese, to build Jobs and better lives for many Africans and Chinese. I pray that the Chinese and African don't allow the white man and Spanish to poison there relationship and bonds.

Yes, Western medias will try to divide the Chinese and African brothers and sisters. Chinese and Africans were once enslaved and went through hardships, so never forget the bond between the two. Now Chinese is successful so must help our friend Africans become successful.

I suggest Africa learn china. around 1978, China also encouraged western countries to invest in China, that time china gave lots of tax and land benefits to western companies. For example, 5 years no tax for these companies, Also give them free land if they build the factory in local, etc.. Then China starts to learn technology from western companies. Then China handled manufactory technology, then China builds Chinese themselves brands. Then now China does the innovation, start to over western countries manufactory. Hope African is also this smart, to get the technology from Chinese companies, then in the future, to build yourselves African manufactory. To make in Africa. I am Chinese by the way. Chinese suffered poor, war, western invade history, so Chinese hope all other poor countries also can become richer and richer, the same with China.

US Military has the biggest budget in the world, 3 times more than that of China’s. USA is the biggest war mongor. USA started close to 30 wars against small and weak countries ever since WW2. USA bought millions and millions of refugees and death to these countries. Recently USA also illegally kidnapped a young lady from Huawei as a hostage in order to obtain money and 5G technology, USA’s behavior is no better than that of a gangster

Very impressive,China and African comming together into development, now China and African must watch out, cos if china and African development continue some country will have to gave up their lavish life and that country will do anything to jeapordise the relation, because only if someone is poor the other can enjoy.both rich can't enjoy.

The Chinese are making their presence felt across Africa today as we speak. I believe that China is now an economic power in the world which that its investments across Africa and the rest of the least developing world will certainly have a profound impact on the local economies of those countries. Global geopolitics as we know it is going to be significantly shaped by China's meteoritic rise and the United States' somewhat insistent attempt at keeping China's economic growth and military expansion in check.

The Communist Party of China has been grappling with corruption almost from its birth. Corruption was one of the major issues during the 1989 anti-government demonstrations. The leadership, in fact, responded to public anger over corruption and what was then known as “official profiteering” by launching a major campaign, in the course of which the number of individuals charged with corruption jumped from 33,000 in 1988 to 77,000 in 1989, and 72,000 in 1990. Since the 1989 campaign, the leadership has waged an ongoing “war” against corruption and routinely prosecutes substantial numbers of officials. Between 1997 and 2012 the Supreme People’s Procuratorate reported that it indicted 550,000 individuals on either corruption or dereliction of duty charges, including three members of the powerful Politburo (Chen Xitong in 1997, Chen Liangyu in 2006, and Bo Xilai in 2012). It goes all the way up to Emperor XI!
When Chinese President Xi Jinping visited Tanzania in March 2013, members of his government and business delegation bought so much ivory that local prices doubled to $700 per kilogram, the UK-based Environmental Investigation Agency (EIA) said in a report, citing ivory traders in the city of Dar es Salaam.
"When the guest come, the whole delegation, that's then time when the business goes up," the EIA quoted a vendor named Suleiman as saying.
The traders alleged that the buyers took advantage of a lack of security checks for diplomatic visitors to smuggle their purchases back to China on Xi's plane.
And the “Lies and Denials” continue:
The EIA report did say that enforcement of the ban on ivory sales had slightly improved last year, with smuggling syndicates growing "more cautious", after Yu's conviction, as well as a high-profile raid.
Police found 706 ivory tusks weighing over 1.8 tonnes at a house in Dar es Salaam last November, along with three Chinese nationals who were detained at the scene after trying to pay a $50,000 bribe, the EIA said.
Meng Xianlin, a Chinese forestry administration official who oversees Beijing's commitments under CITES told AFP that the claims made in the EIA's report were "baloney".
"I have not heard of such a matter," he said, adding: "Do not hype this up."

That's what is happening, selected & trained locals are recruited, taught and they in turns become skilled, in time they will build the roads, buildings...
They then becomes the foremen, supervisors, quality inspectors with further education, some eill become trainers, they will then train the masses of Africans...
That's part of China's strategy for Africa, Latin America, Central Asia, Eastern Europe...
BRI initiative in uniting and connecting the world
That's how those new buildings, concrete houses, new projects and buildings come from, incredible bridges...
      Africa is transforming rapidly...
China also install supercomputer for Africa, training next generation IT people for Africa
      So now
Build now by mostly skilled local African workers
