You seem to mention the key factor of not winning traffic light races. The v6s seems the best option with regards to grunt but manoeuvrability. Try and review one! Would love to see it
They've ditched the V6 in the new models unfortunately. It's this P300 with the 2.0-litre inline-4, then then the next model up, the P450, gets the V8 treatment. The F-type R P575 has an even madder V8 in it. Hopefully I'll get to review one of those at some point...!
The p300 is only 2 tenths of a second slower to sixty than the discontinued V6, and 1 second of the V8 pace. The p300 has a greater weight advantage over its v6 & v8 siblings, making it more agile and fun with 58kgs off the front end. With over 30 mpg it could be the pick of the bunch
It's 6 tenths slower than the v6s which is a lot when you consider the difference between the v6s and v8 p450 is only 4 tenths of a second. Also the 2L sounds like a pile of crap and waters down the ftype brand.
@@HowitzerBlitzer You have your opinion, and that’s fine, considering I’ve driven all four power plants in the F type at Goodwood’s hill climb festival of speed, what experience do you have to come to a rather stark assessment?
@K Mitch stark assessment? All i have done is referred to the stats and facts. I also have a pair of ears and can hear that the 2L sounds pretty bad and watered down compared to the V6 or V8 engines.
I'm subscriber no.26 to your channel. Wont be long until you will be up in the tens of thousands. Good luck and keep up the good reviews.
Thanks!! Fingers crossed...

Does anyone have an idea if the P300 engine will not be available anymore in the future?

You must sort out your sound quality and levels. Reasonable attempt.
I know... Strictly amateur hour at the moment and the sound has been the hardest thing to get right by a mile!
I want my Jaguars reviewed by a proper cad in a sports jacket and cravate, not a bloke in a bobble hat and parka.
Haha! It was freezing!!!
