Yes, it was on FL Studio, and the drums were not Battery. It was the VST Addictive Drums, which are really sweet. Also, I might be able to get Battery if I can find the installation disc somewhere round my living quarters.
Great job, bro! Congrats on 100 videos, and I hope to see a lot from you in the future, especially with possibly doing full remixes, along with the White World ones.
This actually reminds me of the differences between Nagamuna and Ohtani's work for the Rush series. Ohtani, even when composing like Nagamuna, can't help but put a solid melody to the tracks. ...I think I like that better. Also, awesome remix! This really shows the potential you have if you were to use studio-quality equipment. Was this also done on FL Studio? Also, I think the drums were done in Battery, one of its default kits. Am I right? You might want to get it for yourself, FL supports it.
I specifically strayed away from that. I don't like rock that much, and I don't think every modern mix should fall into the whole "Modern = Rock" niche.
Because people see Sonic music and immediately expect this to be a Sonic-focused channel, despite me not uploading content for about the past 6-ish years. It's the way of UA-cam, lol. It's kind of funny: I DO still write music (a lot of it), it's just that a. I don't upload it to UA-cam because it's for ongoing projects that I want to keep under wraps until they're ready b. If it isn't Sonic music, it wouldn't matter to the majority of UA-camrs who would have found my channel anyway. People always say they want new things, but in actuality they want what's popular, repackaged or reimagined in a new way. That's totally fine, but it's not good for letting new ideas breathe. All of that said, I'm not too bugged about it. I just use my UA-cam channel to watch UA-cam, so I'm good. Sorry if I talked your ear off, but I wanted to answer honestly.
Well, I don't think so either. I was just thinking a bit more subdued guitars, like barely hearing them. But I get what you mean, it's kind of nice hear something new for a change. That and it beats using fake guitars in an attempt to force a guitar into it (IMO computer generated guitars only work for Classic music).
Wouldn't mind a bit of rock guitars in the background, but I can understand if you don't have a guy to do that for you. Besides this is still very nice.
I mean, fair. This was like 7-ish years ago and I had no concept of mixing or balancing, so it's just the raw ideas. It's a fair critique in general, but I don't compose like this anymore.
this is awesome minus it being slightly slower than the original Sky Babylon Music and also no you can not simply remove Sky Babylon's Techno but it's still awesome regardless would of been better if you Kept Sky Babylon's techo from the original one.
A wonderful take on what i feel is one of the most underrated zones of the modern sonic.
Blaze's battle theme (Vela-Nova) IS her character theme as well.
And pretty soon, I think.
Finally, a modern remix that isn't hard "rock" or annoying techno. This is great.
What’s annoying about hard rock?
You insulting Crush 40?
Boomer
Very nice

Great job bro! Keep up the good work man! You're awesome at what you do!
For me this is the best Sky Babylon remix I ever saw *^*

Beautiful. Easily your best upload haha.

How do you not have more subs?

@@Shirojyuu it's fine, and you do you. I'll support whatever you choose to do!
Can this remix be in sonic forces
What about Pirates' Cove?
Say, is it possible we'll be seeing other non White World remixes? Not a request, just a question.
I have a video with all the download links on my channel. It's slightly out of date now, though.

Me not caring for rock helps. :)

It sounds good, but it lacks the “action” effect/feel to it. Maybe because it sounds a little muffled?

Yeah, i know that.
Sky Babylon (Modernized) Vs. Sky Babylon (Classicized).
Sky Babylon Act 2 (Modernized)
Sky Babylon Act 1 (Classicized)
Act 2 110%
It's possible, but they would be extremely infrequent and take a while to release.

what software you used to make this?, it's great!
FL Studio 12
Did you do this all by-ear? :)
I find the original better but thats just personal preference
