Ashes of Love was a beautiful Xianxia Chinese romance story. I really love the plot and the soundtrack. Xufeng and Jinmi are totally match made in heaven.
Have listened to many OSTs so far but none as grasped my full attention like this particular one cos each time I listen to it I always feel like crying 😢 cos it's too good not to talk more of the drama itself,gosh the voices in the duet is too captivating 👏👏

There is a season 2 in the making, BUT!!!!!!!!!! It doesn't focus n the main leads but their son. I also heard the original cast are not returning. I was happy to hear of a season 2 but i was sad when the original aren't returning or even an appearance
I am a Chinese who has been living in New York for more than 20 years. I only watched Chinese dramas occasionally in the past years, but I am so pleasantly surprised by overall quality of Ash of Love, the original story line, CGI, special effects, directing, music, and actors performance. Seriously Hollywood has not produced anything original that can really touch audience's heart for a while, it depends too much on special effects, sequels, spin-offs, comic books etc. Congrats to the whole production team of AOL. we need more of this kind of quality shows.
So true. I have my Hollywood favourites but could count them on one hand. Ashes Of Love blows them all out of the water. I wish this could become an international hit. Nothing transcends borders like the language of love.
