I’ve driving mine for one week. It’s a pleasure to drive it, very quietness and smooth. Enough power in eco mode for daily use. 5,4l/100 real consum in mixed motorway&local roads at legal speeds when driving smooth&efficiently. I love its linear acceleration&breaking, completely different than any kia, hyundai, renault, etc. paralell hybrids. Good review, nice car.
I believe that it is a great car, I do the same consumption on my Ibiza 1.2 140hp on city and motorway. I believe that u can do better consumptions if you don't have a heavy feat :D
Hello. A very nice and entertaining video, but I think that it was missing all the lights at night, such as brake lights, reverse lights, turn signal lights, hazard lights, fog lights, etc. I hope you can make the video very soon. Thanks!!
Qashqai 2009 with pertol engine 2.0 is more responsive than ePower Qashqai ... and every later model after 2009. I have 2009 and 2018. 2018 model is awfull compared to 2009. But still, after having a test drive with ePowe, I plan to buy 2025 ePower model very soon. And yes, 2009 model is almost as quiet as ePower models ... I will drive it untill it falls apart ... if ti ever does 🤣 BTW great review Dan.
Hello Dan, I currently have two Nissan X-trails T32 and previously had one Qashqai, but I do not understand Nissan's new vision. It is important to mention that I based my new Qashqai experience on a one-hour test drive in the city. Why use an electric motor to power the wheels if you continue to burn fuel? Fuel efficiency is not far from my larger and heavier X-trail 2.0 dci, it is not quite as the engine permanently sounds like a pencil sharpener, so I do not understand the concept behind it. It is not cheaper to run as you have 2 systems running together (one electric and one thermic), it has not proven any additional benefits compared to a classic engine or a full electric. I also studied the Toyota Rav 4 system, where the battery helps a thermic engine to improve efficiency and it makes more sense. In this case, a consumption of 8 liters / 100 km petrol (even if the same as the 2.0 dci Nissan) is efficient, considering a 2.5-liter engine and possible long-term money savings in revisions. So even if I am a Nissan fan, I will avoid the brand in the future, because of this e-power solution :(
The driving experience is more silent and feels more comfortable and smoother than with the ICE I guess. And you're able to save probably one liter of gasoline over a distance of 100 kilometers. Nissans BEVs (Aryia and Leaf) weren't that successful, so I guess that's their idea of the future.
The e-Pedal recovers significantly more strongly, the braking effect is stronger and the brake lights come on when you release the gas pedal. I prefer B mode where the recuperation is also stronger than normal D mode but the brake lights don't come on. It makes driving more pleasant for the driver behind me.
@@2Razzv In general, it can be said that any selected driving mode is pleasant to drive. But for myself, I don't use the e-Pedal mode much, because it is necessary to have a feeling in the leg when working with the gas pedal, in short, it is more sensitive to gentler addition and removal of gas. It's not such a problem for the driver, but it's certainly more pleasant for the passenger when the ride is smooth, and that suits mode B more. Even when the gas pedal is fully released in mode B, the recuperation is strong, but the car brakes smoothly, evenly, without jerking. Doing the same in e-Pedal mode gives the crew a similar feeling to unexpectedly hitting the brake pedal. I think the e-Pedal is good for cruising in city traffic. In other cases, a combination of D/B modes is better. But it's about everyone's personal preferences, it suits me dad :-)
By the way, in one of your presentations for this Nissan, you said that it is produced in New Cassle, which is not true, it is produced in Sanderland...
The propilot park is a lot better than it has ever been. You should try one out I am sure your local Nissan garage would be happy to take you out in one
I wouldn't mock something I don't know. If you drove the car and knew nothing about the power unit, you would think that you were driving at least a powerful six-cylinder. Trust that the car has enough power in any situation. In addition, driving it is comfortable, smooth and VERY quiet. In all the time I've been using the car, I haven't thought about how many cylinders the gasoline engine actually has or what its power output is. It is completely irrelevant in the e-Power system.

Whats the difference between B mode and E-Pedal? They seem pretty much the same. Also great video!

Yes true 👍 is quite close to Newcastle 😁
@@SDADanCars but it's Sunderland !?!
What about consumption? How many liters?
Will come a separate video 👍
Built in Newcastle? Seriously keep out of Sunderland 🤣 Good review though 👍

what is the green light above your left foot?
Ambient lighting, you can choose from a plethora of colours

Runs well but not for long due to e-power failure.Never Nissan QQ e-power again.
Did you have a bad experience with it? Could you let me know what happened?
Thank you

True 👍
Because it is acting like a generator and not like actual engine so it doesn’t matter
