Saved this little injured dude from the neighborhood cats! 🐈 Bird stayed with me for about 2 hours before he was released back into the Wild. #birdrescue
He’s thirsty. Most wild animals that need rescue are usually really dehydrated. You clearly are “Animal in trouble” magnet. One of your little buddies let the cat out of the bag and words gotten out. If your ever in trouble the guy with the cool beard will help you. Your awesome dude!!! 🥰
I don't know why I haven't found your channel until the video just before this one where you saved an entire family of raccoons from the dumpster BUT I AM SO INCREDIBLY THANKFUL THAT I DID and I'm now subscribed so I can continue to watch your other videos. I'm truly & wholeheartedly thankful for people like you who love animals of any kind as much as I do. Keep up all of your amazingness!!! Watching from Canada........Nancy!!! 😁❤😊
I helped out a sparrow similar sized to this one, it was stuck in a small box (street trash) I brought it home and let it rest in my house, gave it water and food. It chilled on my window for about 30mins before it regained its energy, then it flew away on it's own. 💙
Freddy gets no respect... He should have shit on Roy Burns. You're alright in my book, save the birds, kill the Elm St. Teens!!! 😉😈☠️ Freddy's an animal lover!!!!
Sadly I think he could be pooping blood that's why so often and dark. Seed eating Bird poop is lighter... But they heal quickly So maybe he did recover. If you see an injured bird you can set it somewhere safe and warm then put him back close to where they were if they can fly. If they seem like they can't be put back in the wild. Call a center for wildlife Also if you're not sure how to handle a certain species or it's a more dangerous animal like a big eagle call wild life resources
The bird is beautiful. So precious. I love animals. I am so happy that you did help this bird. You didn't know if he was hurt or not so you stepped up. Such a great person. Gives me some faith in humanity knowing great people like you exist.
I was playing with my niece in the back yard once and every once in a while I would hear this rapid flapping sound. I couldn’t figure out where it was coming from for a while but eventually I found a baby blue jay in a little pile of leaves. There were ants starting to try to crawl on it and the poor thing couldn’t move much. It had been abandoned. It’s leg was broken, literally was twisted all the way backwards and facing the wrong way. I very carefully put it in a big cardboard box and called the Humane Society (because I wasn’t sure who to call) and they sent someone from a nearby wildlife rehab center. The guy who came said they would probably have to amputate its leg, but it would likely make a full recovery after that. I never found out what happened to that baby blue jay once he drove away with it. I like to think there’s a one legged blue jay out there living its best life!
It’s a finch of some sort. The ones in my area eat berries from a neighbour’s tree then poop purple bird poo on my deck. They sleep in my cedar tree at night and just stick out their butts and let loose. They’ll sit on my deck railing while I read out there. I talk to them just like you do. They can tell you’re not going to harm them. Well done!
Recently we were visiting New Mexico, and a bird must’ve flown into my husbands grill while he was driving. I save and rescue a lot of animals, and I needed to get this bird out. It was hurt really really badly, and was in shock. We were in a small town, and there were no sanctuary’s that could take it, so I took it inside, and let it be comfortable while he passed. He didn’t end up making it, but I’m glad he didn’t die alone stuck in the car. I wish more people would help animals
awww God bless you guys cause you are heroes and I'm sure he will never forget you and how you helped him. I hope he found his way home into the wild with his family and doesn't forget you and forget all the stuff you let him crap 💩 on.
He looks like he smacked a window and was stunned, especially sitting on the ground with his eyes closed. I save these little ones all the time. They usually "shake it off within 1/2 hour-2hours. Edit: You came to that conclusion. 👍🏼
Your very lucky. That's a turbo predator bird. That bird could of ripped you apart. That's part of their hunting skill. They set in parking lots waiting on a un-suspecting human to come along thinking it's injured and then WAMM!!!! it rips the person apart! You lucky it didn't kill you and everyone else in the parking lot. Becareful ok. Peace.
That is a fledgling. The best thing to do is leave them alone. When they hatch and get big they jump or are pushed out the nest. Then they flutter a little and hit the floor and flutter and hit the floor. Then the strong ones learn to fly. The others get eaten by cats or foxes. Generally it's best to leave them as it's how all baby birds learn. But if he was a weak one for sure you saved him. Part of nature, onkly the strong survive.
I know this because we always get birds nesting in our foliage. The same Robin family they come every year. Fledglings usually take around 24hrs to fly. If they take too long as I said a predator will get them. next time I see them I will film them learning to fly. It's funny.
So I think I'm a bit late, but I thiiink it's a female rose breasted grosbeak. North American bird, and I dunno if her beak is just stained that way because of the berries but it seems to be one. Im no bird expert though but that's my guess.
It looks like a female house sparrow, finch, or a type of wren.... Edit: I think it is definitely a sparrow. It could be a song, white-throated, lark sparrow or house sparrow, or a large Carolina Wren.
He might be drunk 😵 eating those berries or doped ??Fredie you are so kind. I pray you invite Jesus into your heart ❤️ So we can enjoy the animals in heaven together 🙏🏻✝️✝️🕊🦜🦜🐼🐥
Might be pooping thinking you’re a predator and trying to make itself unappealing. Next time you find an animal, bring it water. One of the most important things is just water and staying hydrated.
As soon as you released that bird into the woods, it was swallowed up by the snake that injured it in the first place! Add "snake feeder" to your resume!
omg dude...you come across animals in need more than Marlin Perkins from Mutual of Omahas Wild Kingdom. You woulda been a better host. ....much funnier. You should always carry a thick set of gloves,...and a SHARP..ER pocket knife. lol
Aww Freddy does have a heart, a small one, but it's there.😂
Screenshot!! hahaha! .. Ya just like I commented in your raccoon save vid " I just love you for teaching young boys to love animals

Yayyy! I'm glad your little birdie friend made a full recovery!
Thank you for helping the bird! Mad respect to those who help animals!

Birb sitting in road for a while: I have to shit but nah
Birb once he touches his hand: NOW!
Is the bird doing ok? My cat brought one home, it was a sparrow, and he stayed his whole life with us. I bought him a cage and everything.
He was so scared he shit himself when you picked him up
Never thought I'd see "Freddy Krueger" and "Saves" within the same area
Boston The cockatiel Freddy who?

Good for you Freddy!! I love watching your nature videos! I'm just curious oh, do you have a wildlife rescue near you?
They are fed with wet bread and wet cat food in small amounts. They do not open the beak The beak has to be open with slight force.
Leo : Screw you, man... What am I supposed to eat besides paper when you are holding my dinner on your finger.
This is some HD geographic type bullshit. 🤣🤣 I literally LOLed
Trying to hit that UA-cam algorithm again huh?

Got to many berries. Now I can’t fly.

Yea I found one female sparrow in my balcony that hit on the window like this bird in the video but the one I found recovered way faster
The bird is drunk.
Might be pooping thinking you’re a predator and trying to make itself unappealing.

omg dude...you come across animals in need more than Marlin Perkins from Mutual of Omahas Wild Kingdom. You woulda been a better host. ....much funnier. You should always carry a thick set of gloves,...and a SHARP..ER pocket knife. lol
Lol I don’t even carry a pocket knife. The one I used “or tried to use” was just from my keychain it wasn’t even a pocket knife haha.
What’s the next animal, you’ll be saving next? Imma guess a skunk or a kitty cat.
