Thats a 80-81 ke55... will have 4k 1.3 litre motor and the auto is a trimatic yes its a trimatic... will have 4.3 diff gears and the axles are 23 spline same as vb-vk 6cyl and 253 and geminis have if the engine has oil pressure and not overheated you can not physically blow it up... the intake nanifold is its rev limiter... (6900-7200rpm)

Looks like a 4k motor, the k series motors are literally indestructible. Should put a 5k out of a liteace van in it with a cam headers an twin sidedrafts

Be cool to see you get a old door or fender and hit it with a hammer and show the right way step by step and produce you use to get it back ready to paint
Keen as for future builds Jake. Spewing never got to see the blue VL get turboed and ripping. Maybe mate who brought it can show us in the future turboed. But good to see it got sold and made some $$

I had a ke55 as my first car ended up putting a Toyota T18 motor and 5 speed in it which was a straight bolt in job all l had to do was shorten the tail shaft and add a hydraulic clutch reservoir in it. 👍

Hell yeah Jake, good stuff man 👌🏻 those old corolla motors are slugs, the might toyota 3k motor, had about 40 Shetland pony powers at the flywheel from factory, be sic to see a FJ20 or something like that in it.
For a future build would love to see a power adder to the F truck , twin turbo or blower ? Be good for towing .
