- In this video in Hindi we discussed about shearing stress or tangential, shear strain and shear modulus or modulus of rigidity. Shearing stress is force applied tangentially over the surface area of the plane. Shear strain is displacement of the plane over the distance of that surface from the opposite plane. Shear modulus is the ratio of shearing stress to shear strain. The S.I. unit of shearing stress and shear modulus is N m^(-2) and shear strain is a dimensionless quantity.
OSM EXPLANATION THANK YOU SO MUCH SIR ....CONCEPT CLEAR 😊
This channel always save my time
very conceptually elucidated...✌✌👍👍👍
I understand everything in this video
Thank you so much your explain is better for clear my concept
The way u defined shear strain. The distance from opposite plane should be less than l?
Thank you sir for your well explanation.
sir is ther any difference between this shear force and the shear force in beam sir beam k case m to shear force khud develop hota h isme hme shear force dena pd rha h
Hello Shani ! Very nice question ! It seems that you love concepts.
The force we apply on a body is the cause of the internal force of restitution in that body. And the magnitude of both the forces are the same ( Newton's third law ! ), if the body has no acceleration. When people say, shear or longitudinal or hydrostatic force applied by us, they mean to indicate the force we apply on the body. And when they say, shear or longitudinal or hydrostatic force in the body, they mean to indicate the force developed in the body. Are those different? Those are not. Only the point of views are different.
I am sending you the link of a video which covers the above-mentioned explanation:

And as always ...... thanks for watching.
the way of explaning is vry gud
Nice Sir, but why Theta in radian , generally we measure in degrees...Pls explain
Hello Mangesh Deshmukh !Radian is more 'Mathematical'.
Hope - I shall help you by making a video on the topic.
And as always .... thanks for watching.
sir can u plz tell me where is the restoring force acting on the body?one more thing is restoring force always act inside the body under observation.
Thank you Sir.
Thank you sir
Guru g mechanical v padha dijiye. Ye vinti hai hamari...
Sir shear stress means the force which applied parallel to the c/s area of body am I right sir ?
Yes
Thanks sir
very very helpful

Hello Allokie T. !
The video you watched was not in English. The language is Hindi. I think, as this channel has 536 subscribers right now from Western Asia, UA-cam is showing videos from this channel in Arab countries.
We are sorry, if it killed your time.
God bless you!
And as always .... thanks for watching.
