Safari Rally Kenya delivered all that it had promised in spades. Almost 20 years after it last graced the World Rally Championship, the Safari returned once more to finally give this current crop of drivers a taste of the big country.
None of them had ever experienced anything like this before. So, with pace notes starting from scratch, and roads littered with hazards, there were more than a few heart in mount moments over the weekend. This punishing event will no doubt be talked about for years to come. So let's look back at just some of Rally Kenya's memorable moments.

Let's all admit that the safari rally is the toughest. I see there are some people who have a natural hate for Africa and it's hard to please, I guess all will be well. One love for the world 💗

Isn't that a different Malewa? I think you are talking about the one on the Kigio Conservancy side, the Malewa in the rally is on Moi North Lake road, Naivasha. Malewa to Kipipiri would be brutally good.
Lol! No local calls it 'fech 'fech' . It's a carryover term from the days of the Dakar rally in the Sahara. Feche feche is a geographical feature found in deserts and occurs with erosion of clay and limestone. The finely granulated soil may look like fech fech but it isn't. Think about it... it's an Arabic name!
