- Origins of the Chaplet:
"St. Michael the Archangel appeared to Antonia d’Astonac, a Portuguese Carmelite nun. He revealed to her that he wished to be honored by nine salutations corresponding to the nine Choirs of Angels and what the prayers were to consist of.
In 1851 Pope Pius IX approved the revelation and prayers."

You can quit smoking if you're determined to quit. My late husband was a chain smoker but when he decided to quit, he succeeded. It was not easy though. When he started to crave smoking, he would do walking exercises. Will pray for you.
