All hail the LOTAD! DOWN WITH THE HELIX! Ahem. Joke aside, am i the only one who really ENJOYED DK64? I know it is glitchy but i never encountered a single glitch while playing it as a kid. Maybe it was because i live in Austria and i had the PAL version...
Same here. Well, I knew about the double-hit in the meca-fish (Gloomy gallion) but didn't know it wasn't intended. The lag-makes-your jumps-longer glitch was pretty obvious too.
I have enjoyed this game as well when I was young (and I had the US version) though I did encunter one glitch when I was fighting the Jack in the box boss I hoverd in the corner and wound up being able to fall all the way down to the ground (what is supposed to happen is that an elevator platform is supposed to catch you and take you back to the arena if you fall out of the fight)
@@thewhitefalcon8539 all the glitches in the video can be done on the NTSC version on the original N64 dude, those glitches are in no way emulator related
I kinda wish that if there was a remake of this (With d-pad based kong switching that enables or disables depending on if there's a tag barrel you can access in the room), that they'd have like unlockables for doing 101% like moon kicks, phase oranges, barrel floating, etc... but just to bother people there'd be a separate icon on the save menu that can turn platinum if you got EVERY individual banana and all upgrades purchased :P
@@Jaaayzen Technically actually, it's not 'intangible'. It just disappears if you try to approach it without having all 20 fairies. If you're careful you can actually get to it in time to collect it, as RingRush proved in the LOTAD.
I don't know if you know this or not but I'm fungi with tiny boss I seen someone get a 1 cycle I think using tiny and I think you have to get hit at the same time hitting the boss is this reliable or did you not even try it

I was having issues importing the video when I first made it. Someone recently requested to move it over so I tried again and it worked

I don't know if this was answered, but how were you able to LOTAD this? DK64 pretty unstable on emulators, iirc.
