For the people wondering about the siren: this is actually a Whelen Vortex running on a Federal Signal UltraVoice controller that was modified to play the same frequency as a Thunderbolt or 2T22
It's a Whelen Vortex with a Federal Signal UV with ThunderMod tone programming. It is meant to mimic a Thunderbolt 1000T on level 5 which is the same pitches as a 10/12 B&N

Notice how the birds are going crazy when the storm approaches. That is a sign of severe weather. The reason for that is because animals have better survival instincts than humans. They are more sensitive to changes in their environment and when they feel threatened they become erratic. In this case they feel threatened by the storm. Stay safe y'all!
BEAUTIFUL looking storm 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 You have an AWESOME warning system!! 👍👍👍👍 Tell me, do you and people you know become fearful when a tornado warning sounds? Or does it happen so often that you kinda take it lightly?
The sirens sound very terrifying. When the sky gets very dark and there’s wind/lightning, you can’t help but think, “is this the day we’ll get hit by a tornado?”

They may just be hearing distant Whelen sirens from farmers branch that have the thundermod programming or they could be actual thunderbolts for in the case they don't have enough 2001s to set off to cover the whole tornado warned area
Don't worry a tornado won't just randomly appear on a sunny day (at least I don't think so). A tornado only happens when there's really bad weather and you can stay up to date with the weather by watching the news and stuff
This is in Farmers Branch/Addison area. There electronic sirens that have been customized to sound like the civil defense sirens that was used back in the 60s. Plus it gives a wider and longer range.
No these are whelen vortex sirens and Federal Signal DSA sirens. the Whelens are sirens in Farmer's Branch and the DSA's are part of Addison's system that replaced a worn out system of ATI's. both sirens in the video and the systems they reside in are retrofitted with a Federal Signal Ultra Voice controller programmed to sound like a thunderbolt 1000T on chopper level 6 and a 2T22 on the DSA's. Both tones were created by an enthusiast and the company that maintain them Goddard Enterprises programmed them to these custom tones.
@@linksmokes420 Actually ThunderMod is a project I created with Logan. Addison was the first system we deployed it on and Farmers branch was later down the road. This video is a prime example of why we wanted to create it. It’s so eerie and outrageous compared to stock Federal tones. The whole intent was to make electronic systems scream like Thunderbolts of before.
