No way to measure the impact this man had on my life: thank you so much, Ken!

Ken also designed one of the best 80s RPGs, Stormbringer, for Chaosium with Lynn Willis and Steve Perrin, of course. A fantastic game. I never got the Hawkmoon game but that's
    apparently also very good.

It's the Troll God himself, awesome! He stopped by my Deluxe Tunnels & Trolls video reviews last year, it was such an honor.
    Thanks for uploading this Marco.

First, thank you Marco for doing this interview. This is video and Ken St. Andre are both a treasure. It is great that Ken's stories are available here.
Now, while it is great to hear Ken tell these stories, there are two corrections: 1) That Other Game (Dungeons & Dragons) was first released in a Woodgrain box, the white boxes came some time around or after November 1975; 2) That Other Game (Dungeons & Dragons) did have a copyright notice-if there was an initial printing without one, some please point that out, that would be kind of big deal.

Still like Tunnels and Trolls. I remember one time we didn't even have dice and played using rock, paper, scissors, lol. I know this is an old video, but it's still a great game today.

Brand new to T&T and love it, but I also love D&D along with so many other rpgs. But I am a solo player and dnd is tough to do a lot of the published material that way. I love the lore and worlds of rpgs and read dnd for that alone.

long ago a friend of mine used the clue board as a map for a tunnels and trolls game, he also used rocks to simulate dice noise behind the dm screen. it was very true to what I think of as the vision for that game.

I had T and T in the 80s and mainly used it for solo play. I had the 4th edition boxed game.

    These vids are boring.
You call yourself a wargamer, yet I have not seen any vids from you at Origins about, you know, war games.
    But I'll wait.
Maybe you should change your name to marcoboardgamer?

I couldn't disagree more. Clearly, Marco's first love is wargames. However, he doesn't limit himself to one genre because he is a multifaceted individual. Gencon includes very little in terms of wargames. I am sure if Marco lived in Phoenix, he would attend Consimworld and provide wall to wall wargame coverage.Interesting that you would place such comments in a tunnels and TROLLS review :-)

It's my opinion on the matter. It's ok if we don't agree.
I didn't mean to upset you so bad with my opinion.
Just take a deep breath and try to realize that people aren't going to have the same opinion you do.

And most of the vids I have seen on Marcos channel are board games, card games, euros, RPGs, and ameri-trash games. Sure, he does some wargames, and he has a shelf full of wargames (most of which look like they are still in the shrink wrap or unplayed), but most of his vids are not about wargames. If I weren't so lay, I could probably go count the vids and bring up some numbers for us to discuss, but... I'm lazy and really not that interested.
There's nothing wrong with his vids, or the games the vids are about, but it is kinda misleading when he bills himself as a wargamer yet plays/ reviews more types of games than wargames.

Roughly 630 board game videos to 480 wargame videos based on his playlists, surely there is some overlap. I'm a boardgamer myself. Love the videos Marco keep them coming.

All we need now is for a Tunnel to comment.
