Thanks for sharing. Hey! Sis...I want to grow the water spinach in the container too. Did you make holes in the container? You have a very family, and your daughter is very pretty❤️❤️❤️❤️
Thank you for replying my question. I just received my order today ( water spinach seeds), I'll grow them like yours. I love all your content, you've got that down pat Sis. Happy belated Khmer New Year!!🙏🏻🙏🏻❤️❤️❤️❤️
Bong srey, looks like you grow Ivy gourd plants as well? Are you selling Ivy cuttings? I’m interested in buying some cuttings. Does it bare fruits? Looking forward to your response. Thank you!
That's good. My MIL brought the water spinach seeds from Cambodia. A whole bag since last year and there's plenty left because you only need a little bit and like you saw, it's cut and grow again. A tablespoon is good for that container. I suggest you grow like 3-4 buckets of these LOL because they cook down to nothing and you can just trim a bucket and stir fry. Does not go to waste like store bought because they are tender and hardly any bad leaves. Another thing that I am experimenting is the sawtooth herb. Will see how that goes and share my results.
Thank you so much for your wonderful and informative channel. I love your content and always learn something new. I saw that you had growing in your garden ridge gourd? I can't seem to get my seeds to germinate. If you did a video on how to grow ridge gourds or other varieties of gourds ie opo, as well as demonstrate the proper trellis to support, your followers would be so delighted! I also love that you speak fluent and proper Khmer. By listening to you speak, it has helped to increase my terrible and limited Khmer vocabulary. Love that you grow herbs and vegetables for Khmer cuisine. Keeping alive the old tradition and way of the Khmer culture as an Asian Khmer American. Thank you for your awesome channel! I look forward to your uploads. Your daughter is ridiculously cute!
It is my pleasure and that you very much for watching and commenting. Lets me know how I am doing 😂 I don’t think we are growing any ridge gourd. Maybe you saw the cucumber vines? Or the one over the head, that is our passion fruit trellis. I don’t eat gourd enough to want to plant them. I try as much to speak in Khmer for me to practice my skills but also for the kids to hear it as often as possible because I know that once school starts they well hear me speaking Khmer to them less and less. I don’t want them to lose it. It is a gift to be bilingual, does not matter what language combinations. Again, thanks for watching. ❤️ 🙏🏻
The same way you grow rice paddy herb. Try it. Saves you time and water when you grow in the bucket. Remember to not poke holes and use in-ground soil. You can use soil from your ground too but sometime those has weeds so when you water your herbs the grass might grow in there.
I try to include them here and there as I see fit. If I just do a straight gardening update, with the amount of plants I have growing, it can be a longggggg video 😂
Wow! As always, i love your garden tour! Your lil little is too adorable❤️ I live in Massachusetts so the planting season is extremely short but I take a vantage of the few warm months that we have and plant some herbs in a containers.
Some of the herbs does better in containers than in the ground, it's easier to control the soil and the water level. Fresh herbs picked right before cooking is the best!
Im excited for my first harvest soon. We didn’t know it would grow this fast in such a short amount of time. Now let’s see if I know how to propagate this into baby plants.

The Ivy gourd was grown by accidently as we thought it was winged bean. We didn't even eat it.
