Great video!! I think it's really important what you said about the risk. Many people will keep the boots at home to keep them in condition. But a little abrasion vs you losing your foot... it's pretty clear. But I also think people should think about waterproof shoes in the first go itself like I am 🤣
Glad you liked the video👍 Stretching the budget and getting waterproof shoes is always better throughout the year but a pair of high ankle waterproof boots with an equal amount of protection to these go for at least 5-6k rupees more which I did not have. If you keep the same budget and want waterproofing you lose out on protection features. I aimed to complete my protective gearset as soon as possible since riding in sports shoes is something I hate and also completely unadvisable, so I got what I believe are one of the most protective products under Rs.10k and they work amazing through the year and suffered less damage in the rain than I was expecting which I'm okay with. Maybe a secondary pair for rains will follow later this year but isn't an inherent requirement right now since these are keeping my feet safe for now.
Hey Ravi, I'd suggest getting the size 11 if you're going for the black ones I have and getting a size 9 or 10 if you're getting the slightly taller version (red/white or fluorescent) You can watch this video for some more insights: ua-cam.com/video/dc455H2p9Mc/v-deo.html In any case I'd still recommend trying them on before purchasing
As far as possible don’t use them in rain. Water won’t reach your foot but it does damage the leather and it will peel off after a while. The only reason I used them during a monsoon ride is because I had no other alternative at the time
@@ExtraDevyaa Agree, so its one of scenario like you are riding and it starts raining. so what would you advise on saving the boots? should we carry a boot cover?
A light shower won’t damage the boots as long as you dry them and condition them afterwards. Moderate to heavy rain can damage the leather quite significantly in which case yes it’s a better idea to carry boot covers. Get the ones with rubber soles for better grip
I can’t speak for a product I haven’t personally tested bro. On paper it seems to be a decent budget friendly boot ankle length boot which should prove to be very useful for commuting purpose, I’d recommend trying them out at a store before making your purchase.
I'm not interested so I won't watch but just to let know I read BBQ calf boots, and I was thinking they make specialty boots for barbecuing now ? What will they think of to market next?
Just found your channel, love the witty yet informative way you deliver things. Subbed.

Can you please let me know more about water resistance.
Also, does the leather come off in rain?
